Don't be like that baby. You know you like it when I hurt you.

GGs to Zagi, Jago and Mucky. You're welcome Mucky. The bill will be in the mail within 2-5 business days for the pro lessons I gave you today. Also, get a mic, scrub.

I always like to spend some time in training mode before I start playing people if I've got some time. I practice combos that I see myself dropping from time to time(tight links) and I screw around with hitconfirming off scenarios that pop up often. Then I'll just do stuff and see if I can make new combos up for fun. Making up combos, pressure strings and resets is almost as fun for me as it is playing other people. I'm that way in all the fighting games though.

GGs to dusk. Shoutouts to Minoru and my connection never wanting to play each other.
-
Having connection issues with Minoru, if it doesn't work I'll invite ya.
-
Lazy casuals for a bit, who wants to press buttons with me? Nevermind, pressing buttons with Minoru.

Lazy Casuals Extend: BatousaiJ vs Neo_Obscura and WoZ Just some casuals against a Relius and a Litchi. Man I'm super rusty~
-
What are you guys talking about? I see lots of numbers and I'm suddenly uninterested. GGs to Woz, Neoobscura and all the random people that I played on ranked. So rusty~ I'll have to make it a point to actually play an hour or so every two days or so to stop my regression into scrubiness.

Shoutouts to poverty Michigan internet. Bitches.
-
GGs to KisekiUnmei for helping me get some rust off for not playing again for awhile. Shoutouts to unblockable assault throughs. LoL Netplay indeed.

Air grabs are really useful and effective in the game, half the time I'm in the air, I'm attempting an air grab trying to yomi where they're going to tech.

Nice to see Konan back in action. He loves that 6B pressure reset and I like how he likes to go in for 5B or 5C continuation which should be really easy to mash out of if they were to attempt it but no one really seemed to try but 5B/5CC options would catch some backdashes so maybe that's why he was going for those. I like his get in your face 5A corner trap catching people on front rolls but it did work against him a couple of times. He also used a lot of the 5BB > j.BB > j.C > 5C links which doesn't work on everyone but works particularly well on tall characters like Relius and Valk.

I do that finishing blow RC all the time. Mostly because it's just something to do and I like keeping track of whether or not I had some meter left at the end of the round. People sure like to interpret crap in a negative way any chance that they can get.

I like my 1 open and 1 private slot rooms. Usually I'll end up inviting someone and a random can join in to mix things up.

Good work. I think you touched on everything that needed to be mentioned in a unblockable tutorial. I have only one single complaint though. No bears.

The standard. 6A FC > 5CC > 6CC > 236C > 214A > dash 5C > 2C > 236B > 214B > 22B I land a 6A FC every blue moon or so, even less if I don't have charge to work with to get 214D IAD combo in there so it's suited its need. I said the combo is fine, I just personally won't be using it because I don't like the feel of the combo and the gain isn't significant enough for me to force myself to use it.

Combos optimization is a very situational thing based on what you're trying to get out of that hitconfirm so it's very nice to know multiple paths. Never assume there's always that 1 best combo that given situation as you might value something a different combo path might offer more at that time whether that be untechable time, meter, damage or reset opportunities. Keep your options available to you know what the pros and cons of each are so you can make the best choice for yourself(this applies to what Kiba was talking about the 22C thing as well). Oh and if you guys are doing some combo works for fun, try to make up some new combos off the 3©C starter as you can basically do anything your heart desires after that starters and I've noticed that I end up landing that hit a lot more often than I thought I would. It goes so far as to me utterly failing and dropping the combo and then just fubaring it into another combo I never practiced that totally ends up working because that starter is so good.

FC 3C with 1 charge has the double IAD available as a combo path as well. 3C > 6CC > 214D > 2CC > iAD j.CC > 5C > 2CC > IAD j.CC > 5C > 2C > j.C > j.C >j.236A > j.214C - 4122 damage 49 meter gain. You can obviously forgo the second jc in the air combo ender for the option select air dash if you wish as well but it's really nice to have that massive meter gain and full corner to corner carry from the double IADs. The trick to this combo is to delay the 5C pick up after the first IAD and time the second IAD j.CC slightly differently. Not particularly easy combo to do but it's not aggressively difficult either. I tried out that combo Errol posted with the TK j.236C and what not. Cool looking combo, I don't think I'll be using it as my BnB. I feel that it's too easy to drop and not worth the extra stuff you get out of it in a real match setting.
-
Don't say stuff like that man, it takes a lot of willpower for me not to use this knowledge to mess with you. The new combo sounds like it'll look really spiffy and like mentioned before, the damage increase from the current BnB is negligible but the HG should be quite nice and of course, style points.

Just watch out for people mashing DP between 5C© > 6B and 6B > 5A pressure. But you can just bait that easily by either charge canceling after 5C© and blocking or 6B > block as well. At that point, if you do bait their DP, the resulting reward will generally be pretty awesome. So as long as you bait it from time to time and punish accordingly, they'll be less likely to try it. Most punish for a DP would be 5C CH > 6CC stuff, the really long delay ones will be 6CC and the ones without CH state will be 5CC > stuff but it depends on the position, charge, meter and all that good stuff.

God, I need to turn the sound off to watch those. Off sync and terrible quality >_<. Good job winning though, Kiba.

If you space it right, you don't even need to micro dash to get the 5A in there after 6B so if they were pressing buttons, I'd get a CH. If I have to dash, it usually means they were barrier guarding, which takes them longer to recover from, doesn't it? Or so it was previously, not sure anymore. But like you pointed out, they will hesitate anyway because they know the 6B(B) > 22C paths that are available to me. You can't be scared of pressing buttons because of gaps thinking they're always mashing or going to DP your efforts. You must instead make them afraid of your options and know exact what to do when they start trying to shut some of them down and punish them harshly for it. Lately, I've been doing a lot of baits against people who love to mash DP during small gaps in my offense and after a few 6CC > Mugen combos, you can be sure they stopped doing that. Oh and I 2C that little jin jump poke reset all the time. It's nice because it works vs both his 6B and j.A > j.2C paths.
-
I use 2C as an alternative to 5C > 6C > jc shenanigans. 5A > 5C > 2C is tight after all while 6C has a significant gap. Just gotta watch hitboxes since if they're barrier guarding you and they've got a small hitbox, the 2C might whiff which would be bad. I still use 6B pressure reset all the time with great success. People think 6B is - on block because how long the active animation for that move is and when they press buttons, I'm right there with dash 5A in the quickest time possible landing a CH. Just gotta watch out for IB and if I notice them trying to IB all my stuff I'll just vary it up by going 6B(B) delay > 22C and etc. I never used IAD cross over j.D > j.C since I feel like I'm leaving myself too vulnerable through the sequence but I do use 5C > 6C > j.236C > j.214C for that quick cross over hit if I'm feeling ballsy.

Doesn't George disappear when you get grabbed, broken or not?

I encourage everyone to exploit the hell out of any and all weaknesses I may have. It's the best way for me to overcome them. Hell, I'm free to purple throws when I'm not thinking about them even though I break green throws more often times than not. When my opponents notices this and start throwing them out more often, I adjust and shut that down by teching it like any decent player should. I don't get mad at them for "not respecting me". Hell, I thank them for pointing that shit out. Preferably after I beat them, but you know how that goes.
