Ara and a few other characters have hit boxes where off certain starters if you do full 623D(3 hits), the 236D will bounce them too close to you which will make the orb hit them before you can j.214D through it to get the repeated hits for full proration. In those scenarios, switch up your starter or do 2 hits for 623D and immediately cancel into j.236D > j.214D.

GGs to billarenji. Shoutouts to 3 round rooms. I guess it makes sense if you don't want to go through character select as much and you use the same character over and over again but I much rather prefer the 2 round format. It's got a different flow to how the rounds go about and you have to think differently about how you use your bursts as well. Stop dodging and make the joke!

It frightens me how well Hell's Fang 1 hit blocked > DP works on everyone. As for mashing bat DP, what's a good punish after you bait it and block it? She seems to recover awfully fast for anything that isn't 'A' related.

Yes it's true, you actually have to put in effort to win with Tsubaki. If you're not into that, you can play Ragna or Valk where you can confirm random hits to big damage and meter gain for the win.

The hell? We used to have GDLK 4 bars only. Did you change your net/location or have your settings really weird on your router/ps3?

My only suggestion is to use "Cross Line" as the song for all the matches. I hear all the other songs lag on consoles.

Which Mugen combo? You can do like... 6k with 1 charge mugen with the right starter. Her midscreen damage is one of the highest in the game with mugen use actually even with a 5A starter.

You guys talking about when he stopped blocking the super? I'd put my money on he was trying to instant block for meter gain and simply missed the timing. If I want to DP or counter super Valk's super, it's after the first hit. You can get a 236236C or a DP off to punish him but the timing is super tight so you better be mashing hardcore.

I only still make it point to do it on the easiest characters to land it on like Tager, Haku and Valk as I think whiffing j.BB and losing knockaway/charge time is really crappy when you're balancing the pros of the combo itself especially in netplay where the connection isn't too reliable for truly timing specific stuff.

You can bust out mugen in situations where you think they might burst and that in itself acts as the bait that gives you all the time in the world to 214D afterward or block even but that's not ideal/stylish. Shoutouts to not using names and signature colors to represent yourself~ I'd guess it was a team color thing perhaps.

He's pretty excellent. Also, Mugen > 214D burst bait is glorious no matter how many times I see it.

j.BB and j.236D crossover combos are character specific nightmares but they're both useful so it's good to keep it mind who it works on and who it doesn't.

Hummm, I don't want to subject my old as hell PS3 to being on all day for two days but I can bring in a 24 inch ASUS monitor that I use my for comp if that will help. If we're near the final days and there are no takers for PS3s with BB, let me know though.
