Yo, just thought you guys would like to know about a tournament going down in September in Springfield. Sadly enough I wasn't able to hit up Screenland due to financial problems, but yeah. We'll break your damned ankles. Anyway, here's the basic information: Weekly Casual Hookups Saturday Afternoons @ Next Level Games 1914 S Glenstone Ave (Sunshine & Glenstone Plaza Center) Saturdays starting at 1PM and running until close (currently 8PM) Weekly Fighting Game Tournaments Monday Nights @ Meta Games 3309 E. Sunshine Springfield, MO 65804 Goes from 7-10 PM and people show up early there regularly. (Around 6ish) List of Games we play for Casuals: Super Street Fighter IV AE Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Arcana Heart 3 Blazblue: Continuum Shift Tekken 6 And whatever else anyone brings in. On the Meta Games Tournaments we're currently only doing Street Fighter due to lack of interest in BlazBlue (Which makes me rather sadface, we only have roughly 4-6 BlazBlue players). It's commonly run on my PS3 Setup, which has a shoddy monitor with discolored lines on the right side of the screen (I got it for free. >~>) and only 1 Stick that is consistently there. I'm sure we could get a 360 set up going if needed. Anyone in the surrounding area is totally welcome, because the best type of practice, in my opinion, is LIVE, OFFLINE practice.

Hey, I think I can actually answer this. >_> The 6A does stop the dash after the 44 and if you don't do it quick enough it will indeed whiff. (I've messed this up countless times.) Conversely, you can delay the 214A~D a little bit and this will cause them to not cross over Makoto after the wall bounce so you can just input 6A. Hope that helps.

I'll be able to confirm that list entirely later, Hiago, though all of that should be correct already. If someone else wants to go ahead and confirm it before me though, go right ahead. I'll also do some messing around with 3C to see what all it doesn't go under now.

I guess I should finally add my name to the list. >_> Markus_Arx. Midwest (Missouri.)

Oh my god. Just got done going through most of Makoto's Challenge Mode, and it feels like the day I first bought her. <3 Loving the new buffs and combos. A lot easier to do than doing Comet Cannon Stuff and Double Lightning Arrows on stick (Since I got it recently). I'm still going to have to get down the Comet Cannon dash-up down consistently, but that'll come pretty quick, I imagine.

If I'd played in Revelations Online, it'd have gotten seen there, I'm sure. ^^; The main reason I found out about it is because I didn't really learn the other RC combos with her, because I preferred to use them in mixups or making stuff safe, but I was messing around one day and found that worked, so I started using it.

I can't get used to the position of the Playstation Controller's analog. it feels so awkward for a fighter. @_@

So, I finally figured out how to Lightning Arrow properly about a week and a half ago. I now know how to do everything I need to with Makoto, I just need to clean up a lot of my execution. Which is really fucking hard to do on pad. T_T

Battle247 Presents - Revelations Online Tournament!
MarkusArx replied to RinHara5aki's topic in Archive
Forget everything I've said in this thread, and even about the possibility of participating. Just forget everything I've ever looked forward to and damn everything I like, because no matter what I try to do that I actually want to do, it will never work. See this? I am somewhere around the bottom of it, swimming in an endless haven of Hate and Sodium Chloride. Excuse me as I go break everything I own and go to the Military. And Yash; you still have a better chance at getting in than I do. Good luck to everyone participating. -
