  11. I turtle really hard. Also, yes, I really like CAD~ Your neutral is bad, do you look at your opponent while you're playing? You would act the same whether a move connected or not, whiffing is dangerous no matter what character you are playing against. As far as pressure, Valk obviously has problems when he's forced to block, but the point is he's a super strong neutral/momentum based character that he shouldn't have to block much anyway. Think about your matches! You're beyond the level where I can give you advice. Stop doing j2C > jC > Sekkajin on block, not everyone will be hit by the jC. Also, you should obsessing over pressure and focus more on mixup, making people block all day doesn't win you games, you need to hit them. Daisharin is dead. Using 2B for mixup during Kokushi is a bad idea. As far as normal pressure, I'm sure its all right, you just need to keep in mind barrier defense because I'm sure 6A will whiff if they barrier 2A and 5B. Best time to mash vs Litchi is if you think she'll put the stick down. If you get counter hit, she'll do ok damage and probably take you to the corner, or if you're in the corner you'll take a good amount of damage. If you play it safe, she'l get to do a lot more pressure for free. If the stick is down, you want to try to do stuff if you think she'll move the stick, again, the reward is pretty good if she catches you mashing because of something else. Do you understand the ocncept of spacing? Imagine if everyone's attacks were boxes, and if you get touched by those boxes, you get hit. So the goal of neutral is to get them to touch your box while trying to not get touched by one of their boxes. Depending on the game, spacing might be different, because the rules of the game might be different. It will definitely help to watch players of all skill levels as people of different skill levels approaching neutral differently.... it's something you need to get an intrinsic understanding to appreciate it. 12. whats so shenanigans about using ryuuisou vs a zoner, lol
  13. rachel wind the basic idea of EX is get them to the corner ASAP and hit them with kokushi mixup, abuse guard point if you can vs the char, and do the max amount of damage + corner carry off every hit, emphasis on hitconfirming counterhits once they are in the corner you're a S tier char arcades do have PSR good jp litchi's to watch - shounen, chou, poppo, hane (even though his playstyle is weird), puromete, a-chan, galileo (when he's in the mood), kikuchiyo
  14. if you use slide 6a - makoto - dash particle flare bang - dash ashura tao - pounce super hakumen - obv tager - A/B sledge, magna tech, 720 jin - yukikaze rachel - wind carl - brio relius - orb super some of these can be dealt with
  15. if you practice hard and play a lot and work hard with her, you can win this matchup chart is only if you're top level though, if you're a weak player ragna and hakumen and tao will destroy you, carl, arakune and rachel become unwinnable when cs2 came out, i was pretty upset with litchi, but i didnt understand her. later, i would find out that she outdamaged cs1 litchi, had extremely powerful corrner okizeme, and my problem was that i didnt figure out "ok, if my char is good in the corner, what should i do to get them there quickly?" this resulted in me using more throws, 4d, fishing for 2c/6b ch, putting down the stick more, etc however, in EX, this is not necessarily the case! it is even harder to do this in EX. in fact, there isn't really any "oh, ill hit them with this and take them to the corner" move that isn't really specific (j2d/6b ch etc), making it harder to accomplish her goal on top of that, she does less damage! the only real buffs (outside gatlings/proration changes) that she got was more hitstun on the staff return and guard point being scrubbier than before on top of that, okizeme is overall weaker, no matter what people say about CS1 litchi, her greatest strength was the consistent threat of A+ okizeme, but CS2 litchi definitely had the stronger oki, 4700 for high and 5300 for low (5700 for valk/tager/hakumen/arakune) for EX litchi, high/low damage off kokushi is passable, but there is a pretty big problem basically if there was ever some technique/move that could beat daisharin, you could prepare a counter for it. from there the opponent had to A) try their escape B) respect and block, which was fine. even basic 138xxx setup had an escape (you could just jump out of it, no one in US ever did though lol) but for kokushi, if a character can beat kokushi, there is usually no way around it besides using meterless okizeme, and most of the time meterless okizeme damage can be meh (especially if you use 2b for the low) in previous versions, meterless oki damage was good, the only detriment from using it was that you only got 1 mixup oppurtunity, as opposed to several with daisharin overall, strong/safe mixup is still strong/safe mixup, but they are emphasizing her neutral a bit too much, despite her not being a neutral char. as in, her neutral is good, but its not her specialty, but they tried to force you to be super good in neutral anyways EX litchi is the most fair, CS2 was the most derp even though you had to be good to beat makoto/noel and super good to beat valk if youre on PSN, it's hard to judge people's skill based only on PSR, you gotta looked at their played games/win rate/disconnect ratio/etc when i mentioned PSR, i meant by arcade standards
  16. as in, i played a lot of games, watched a lot of matches, read up a lot, talked to a bunch of people, and came up to this conclusion
  17. source is my brain
  18. vs valk - new 4 winds helps out incredibly, sealing movement is super important, if you have dp he cant run train on you with mixup she can stop a lot of stuff somewhat safely compared to other chars vs makoto - makoto dmg is too low, corner carry is weak, etc, litchi outdamages her most of the time vs plat - still litchi favor, plat does less damage, some of the annoying items are weaker, low profile bat all day and use guard point vs cat stick vs haz - you just need to be good, dont get hit by overhead > jayoku and you can win vs tsubaki - i just learned a bunch of stuff like yesterday/today about the matchup, so i might change my mind, it might be really big in litchi's favor vs lambda - like i said, im being liberal, if you have bad neutral you'll die mu - fraud char, you need to not get hit by random ch into big damage, daisharin/6d is pretty helpful, get her to the corner and you win bang - hard, they will run circles around you and do w/e the fuck they want, you lost slide 2a and daisharin, however he cant ashura you as long as youre holding the staff rachel - they can just mash and do w/e they want, need to outright outplay them hakumen - used to think this was bad, you need to use litchi's normals properly and then all the aggressive hakumen players will die arakune - still gay, you do less damage so all the punishes are just meh, he's gonna backdash/gold burst all day, get him to block kokushi and you win, probably best to use 6d > 6c > 4kote > 6c > kokushi ender ragna - need a lot of experience, but once you get it, it's even, use guard point against EVERYONE up till around 600 psr level, guard point is too good, you need good neutral too jin - free, just need good neutral and patience tao - unstoppable, stopping wake up cat pounce is super hard, she does too much damage with 50 meter and you cant touch her anymore noel - need experience and good neutral. still outdamages you but not by much. you can destroy CA multiple ways. always assume the noel player will mash carl - super hard, cant get hit more than two times in one round (assuming you're willing to burst) relius - not too hard, need good neutral and good use of guard point tager - free, just try not to mess up, only akira can win this matchup
  19. pretty much the more reward you get for doing w/e you want vs litchi, the better your char probably does vs her me saying litchi vs lambda is a bit liberal, lamda might beat litchi this version too hakumen vs litchi, despite the damage differences, is INDEED even
  20. i dunno, i dont really use too much neta anymore because it doesnt do enough damage, you can test on your own though
