GG players hate Millia, etc. People hate Litchi the most because of her mixup, imo. The pokes and other stuff probably contribute - plus not a lot of people play her over here, so no one has much, if any real exp against her. This time, hitconfirm is super important - if you couldn't hitconfirm well in CS1, you'll have problems in EX. Also, because of the decrease in hitstop on her staffless normals, it makes it a bit harder to hitconfirm than before...

Everyone will always think okizeme characters are cheap.

That's precisely why I don't like these big combo lists - while there is indeed more to learn, you can easily cut the list's size in half if you just memorize the recurring parts. Positioning matters a bit more in this game than CS2.

Plebian's Playground (BBCS:EX Exhibition Matches)
Lord Knight replied to Lord Knight's topic in BlazBlue Online Play
I didn't know tournament results were decided by votes.... Anyways, the poll is up, NeoGio0o, Haven, and Tempest Dahlia got the most nominations. Honorable mentions are Toan, Akira shiro, feux follets and Minoru Hoshi, who will be used as back up players in case someone in the main event can't play. More on that later. -
Plebian's Playground (BBCS:EX Exhibition Matches)
Lord Knight replied to Lord Knight's topic in BlazBlue Online Play
The nomination period will end this weekend. I'll put the top 3 players with the most votes in a poll - then, the person with the highest votes will be the 8th player. I also would like to respond to some of the posts in this thread. I'm sorry, but I selected people who I thought were the best players on the East coast. A couple of these players are among the best in the country. Ivysaur, SKD, Zidane and myself have all won majors before. Omni consistently places top 3. As far as Lost Soul and Nineball go, I've heard very good things about both players, and I felt they were two of PSN's best NAH representatives. Lost Soul would do extremely well if he attended tournaments. If you have a problem with "LK and friends", don't blame my "friends" for always winning tournaments. If you wanted to be on this list, you should try going to more tournaments or getting a better reputation as a strong player. For anyone who had a comment about the event format - this again is just a test event. I would not mind running it for other regions, nor would I mind if someone ran it for other regions after this one is over. If I run another netplay event on EC, it will not be like this one. Again, the connections will definitely be tested out beforehand. I restricted it to EC only because I wanted connections to be stable - PSN connections tend to be worse than XBL. And please, at least READ the first post before posting in this thread. There are a lot of mistaken assumptions and other such things that could be easily corrected/solved just by reading the first post. -
Fio doesn't understand Litchi well enough. He's a good player, but not on the level of the people in top 8.

Please read carefully - The tentative test date is the 13th - I know for sure who the first match will be already. I've already taken into account that some people won't have the game until the 14th. -

This is a test event. On XBL you can get a little greedier with distances because the connection is more stable - plus there are some players who don't cross over to PS3. Also, I did want to do something like this with WC or Midwest if this was successful, at a later date (say, after BBR). Like the original GODSGARDEN, the players are hand picked, besides one. Like I said before, I picked people who I really thought were the best players. The format is TBD but all the matches will not take place in one day. If I did more than 16 players, it would take too long. Isu is from Georgia but he has that OP tech school connection. -

Clearing some things up - 1) Yes, you can nominate more than one person. I mentioned it in the first post - whoever gets the most votes will be the 8th player. 2) I thought about it, but in the end I don't think I'll allow Midwest players to participate. On PSN, the connections are just too iffy. If enough people hellraise over this, I might let it by though. 3) I picked 8 people because I only want the best players to participate in this event. I don't really think there are more than 8 players on PSN, on EC, who'd meet my requirements to be among "the strongest". -

Updated the first post with the rules. Seems like it's going to be quite a tournament... I think GG4 used the same format?

Here are the final "correct" proration numbers for EX Litchi. Overall I can say that they lowered her damage a bit, but gave her better proration numbers so her combos are still pretty lengthy. http://jbbs.livedoor.jp/bbs/read.cgi/game/45148/1321806932/398 source

CT - Medium, needed to know a good amount of character specific and positioning to be effective CS1 - Medium, a little less character specific, still needed to pay attention to screen position CS2 - Easy CSE - A little harder than CT/CS1, mostly because random hitconfirming is harder due to less hitstop on staffless normals. Overall not to bad though.

you can do jAACB however, the results are obvious...

With BB at GODSGARDEN, the Japanese players have been going in hard with special events and exhibition matches... There's a ton of stuff we can actually do, especially as the BBR Qualifier is coming up. -

Again, the J2B combo is only practical off a couple of starters (specifically 6b[m]). This time, there isn't just one ender, there are multiple enders depending on what okizeme you want to use.
