  1. The comparision is what I'm critical of. Hakumen's normal tsubaki > hotaru confirm does 6.5k~ without OD. Whereas a 40% OD ups the damage by barely 2.5k Mu's normal 6b confirm leads to 3.5k~ and a 100% OD ups the damage by over 3k. When you consider that Hakumen needs almost twice the overdrive to do comparable damage extensions Mu's overdrive, it becomes clear that Mu's od converts to more damage, overall, than Hakumen's.
  2. Uh... you know you can do the Minimum Duration OD at the END of bnbs that already do like 4k for two bombs and omohikane for an extra 3.5k right?
  3. Tsubaki is FAR from an instant overhead. Habakiri loop can be executed off any air hit 6c in any combo. CH 6a > 5c > 6c > 5d jcc OD > 214d...
  4. The j.c was a CH, otherwise it doesn't combo into j.2c on standing.
  5. Yukikaze is still completely nonpunishable on projectile activation and gets him out of the corner.
  6. Video thread is open.
  7. Totsuka laser is much faster, as well as the recovery being longer. This essentially means that it's not as good for rushing down. However it is better for combos! In addition, keep in mind that TK Totsuka is now a superior option, as the air version has much less recovery.
  8. I don't know if you guys just missed or overlooked it or thought it wasn't important, but this is by far the biggest, and best change the character has seen yet: This means µ will have corner 5-way mixup based on a completely invisible offscreen stein's firing timing. She's crouching, though I know her standing animation is pretty deceptive. Habaya has multiple hit instances, so I'm confident it will overpower the successive greater projectile power of Phalanx Cannon. EDIT: Confirmed - http://www.twitch.tv/adastream/b/345973036?t=98m55s Grounded Habaya is better for keepaway and for using as a meaty, so it looks like we'll have to prioritize that one more, though the µ player in the video wasn't using habayaa at an optimal tk height for it to be plus or safe at all. As for guard crush, remember that if she has 50 meter she can just put out a meaty Totsuka and do 2 CT's in a row! It's less which D you use and more being aware of when your steins will hit. Because all steins have the same tracking and equivalent firing speeds [excepting 5d], using steins in neutral or for pressure all comes down to experience and knowing what your options are when they're on the screen. Oki Setups are a great way to learn how to use steins though, as most of the timings are intuitive and already built into the character's combos.
  9. 5b is pretty bad prorate for it's damage, 6a is usually the go-to choice. j.c is very untechable, you can link a bunch of stuff after it at the right heights. I made a CS2 combo using j.c > \/ 5c
  10. Backdash Cancel the air stein set, dashing over them and linking j.c after tachi's launch.
  11. Thanks Hakimaru! A note of interest on that 10k~ OD Habakiri hits 4 times, unknown if this is equivalent to the maximum charge version Habakiri hits DO NOT PRORATE INDIVIDUALLY, this means that prorate is applied ONCE for each bomb placed. This GREATLY increases Habakiri's combo potential.
  12. Landing recovery is a property that cannot be overridden or lost. Like say you do... Mu j.c. That's 4f landing recovery. Even if you stein /special/rapid/jump/super cancel it, you're still going to have landing recovery.
  13. I already upgraded my stream and setup, made spread graphics and everything. I'll probably do a weekly lab on stream covering things I find throughout the week.
  14. Japan tends to use pretty mediocre combos overall. You don't start seeing the really big numbers until stuff hits the states.
  15. You guys have the right guy in charge of finding combos, believe you me.
  16. Yeah well µ should just be able to loop habakiri for an easy 10k. But that'll never happen.
  17. Hey man j.[c]!
  18. Remember, you don't necessarily have to start with 5d habakiri. Any time you combo into 6c ever with µ you can just OD cancel into 5d 214d xN. And you always combo into 6c.
  19. This character gets all the cool stuff.
  20. Most people are stupid. Or jaded. Or some mixture of the two.
  21. Same reason mu players complain about the hakumen matchup when that's even. Can't do all the dumb shit for free.
  22. Having played against all the good arakunes, the matchup is about even.
  23. Apparently 6b (1) may still be special cancelable, whereas the second hit is not. JBBS is a bit unclear.
  24. Updated image links to your host.
