  1. Well midscreen 214d on neutral wakeup is safe, he can't punish that.
  2. He's only got 4, not to hard to scare him.
  3. Actually, there's a ton of room between IB 6b and even the fastest SoD, more aware players will jab you out like nobody's business, but if used carefully, it works well enough.
  4. 6b is actually a pretty risky move, it's slow, easy to IB, leads to low damage without meter and very few resets. It's great if you have a tsurugui beam out to keep them locked down, but otherwise it's much more reliable to end on either a jump cancelable move, 2b or tick grab.
  5. It's so easy to IB that I'm usually a bit close for comfort, that minimum range has almost never worked in my favor. This is kind of one of those first knockdown gg matches. Both ends have strong, but easily telegraphed and highly punishable reversals, so I find this matchup especially observation-dependant.
  6. You can pressure Hazama just fine, if done correctly, quick gatlings into 6a or 5b into upback barrier when you read his IB means you should really never eat a fatal Houtenjin, and if he whiffs because you baited it, free 3c follow up.
  7. This is how I play the matchup, baiting him in with safe stiens then punishing his blockstring, usually just keeping the IB downback until he goes in for the Serpent's Benedition overhead, which the 6A Ch combo eats alive.
  8. Powers above protect me.
  9. I finally have real footage of me getting beat up. Hopefully I can get it uploaded to the critique thread so everyone can tell me to use safer block-strings.
  10. Habakiri whiffs are not critical to practice. Yes it does lead to 5k~ meterless midscreen when you're punishing a DP, however, the 6b is, for the most part, character specific and the combo won't help you in most matchups. It's good you can do 2b pickups though, those are a must. I'm almost relieved when Kaigu picks Ragna and I can do the larger combos, then I remember that 5b has the same hitbox as my 5c but gatlings into larger damage and has less startup.
  11. The entirety of the rebalance provided the majority of the cast with good aa's, safe, strong pressure and great top end damage. So in that respect, she's actually rather average. Her versatility is arguable, just because she has more options doesn't mean that she can handle more situations. For instance many of her abilities provide support to her pressure, either adding safety or mixup, however those same tools don't necessarily help in a defensive position. Her abare is also still questionable. With so many characters having such strong pressure, I'm feeling that defensive options will have a lot more influence in CS2... there are many reasons why she would have problems playing footsies or matching damage with much of the cast. I would personally say Platinum is a strong character, even with an underdeveloped metagame, just keep in mind that... pretty much everyone is looking pretty strong.
  12. Murki, that actually looks really good. Like. Really good.
  13. More like gasoline for the pyre of what little sanity remained.
  14. Only one meal a day... Huey and I will be at Costco.
  15. Man, Clarice's Arcana Drain + EF + Punishment. 12k superless shenanigans!
  16. I have it, when should I come down to your place.

  17. Hmmm, I want Star Ocean, but I won't have enough if I buy Derek his tourney entry. Maybe he can buy it with the winnings to pay me back.
  18. It appears the entire crew's coming Raven, so tack on PlasticChicken and Polka, and Stark.
  19. The VLX is meant to have a table of it's own to sit upon in front of your 55" lagless display. Nothing else.
  20. Friday is usually at Digipen, but the entire Digipen crew is packing over to Gameclucks this week.
  21. I get munched by EX air swords in the corner, he's out of range of everything. The ground ones aren't too bad though.
