Just got back from the tournament. I must say, it was interesting to say the least. I lost horribly to Boom Cube (Terry vs. Mai is wtf?!!)and this Duo Long player but I blame that on not having enough human practice. I was confused by the people who were using EX Iori but didn't even know how to play Iori. Also, everyone who is serious about KoF, there is going to be a pretty big tournament in January from what I was told by Richard and we're all expected to show up and enter. There's even going to be a pot bonus, i'm personally going to be hyping this and I hope you all will be there.

Nice, Astaroth. You have a copy of Ultimate right? If you can bring it i'll pack up my 360 and see if we can get a spot for casuals.

See Naimat? Even your Continuum Shift disc understands that Extend is worth it. Also, I really like EX Noel a lot guys. She's gotten so many buffs, and her corner damage is looking even better than CS2's. I think she's still be low A by the end of Extend.

But Haku-Men is S-tier in CS2 and Extend. The nigga is too broken.

Wait, wtf? So someone who bought the game had to pay money while those who had SF4 didn't? I call stupidity.

Okay, now remember what you said. You wanted to just get Relius as DLC and the patch (by patch i'm assuming you meant just the re-balance because that's what you said). Meaning you would not be able to even play someone who has the EXTEND disc in while you have the CONTINUUM SHIFT disc in. How would that work online and so forth? And how is there no divide?

Why does anyone like Kokonoe? She's such a bitch. I'd rather have Nine above anyone else *drools* but i'll settle for Jubei as second place if nothing else. But Kokonoe, hecks naw (I swear I think she'll be another Tron).

What i'm saying is is that it would be STUPID to make a stand-alone disc and release Relius and a free patch as DLC. Once you do that you pretty much split up the community between those who have played the game for years and the new blood. HOW YOU ASK? Because you have the pros playing CS2 Plus and the new-blood playing Extend. They want everyone to be in a"mix" so to speak. That way, the rookies can have fun playing the game via more game modes and also possibly find more enjoyment in the game through high-level play (In other words, fighting us). I do agree that it would be smarter to do what the guaranteed fan-base wants but I believe that Aksystem has confidence that the current fans will buy the game regardless, I believe Jackie pointed out how they did this many times with Guilty Gear, we've already proven as fans that even if it aint new, give us some patches and we love you. Thus, they were simply willing to try something that would cator to new crowds. Don't talk about my gun-girl like that man. Especially when you're fawning over an ignorant, coming straight off the indian reservation-looking guy like Bang.

Naimat, if you think people would not get this game for the storyline, then you obviously haven't heard my story on how I ACCIDENTLY bought BlazBlue thinking it was a good J-RPG game and ended up joining the fighting game scene completely due to this very mistake. I'll repeat once again, this game is by no means meant for the CURRENT BB community, this game is paving a way to the newer generation of players and what they find attrative in a game, yes I do agree they could've given a free patch along with Relius patch alongside BBEX, but then those who are stuck on CS would not be able to branch over and play Extend. Also, I still play all the game modes including Story, so take that as you will. Edit: I'm stressing this because I think this is the most crucial element to this entire argument. THIS GAME WAS NOT MEANT FOR US!!! The fact that the BB fan-base exists is a good thing (because at least they know we'll buy it) but trying to expand their horizons to get more people other than us is the main goal.
