God damn, just got my second taste of domestic violence. Had to duke it out with my brother for punching his girlfriend, the crap left me with a bruised arm and a cut. Sorry for saying all this on the forums but Volpe won't answer his phone (Plus you guys are like a second family so no big deal).

I'm really hoping that Viola will connect with me as much as I think she will. After everything i've seen with her I want to go in. But if that fails i'll just go all Hilde and wreck some stuff. I need this game *Rages*

@Milln and Naimat: Yeah, Volpe was indeed telling me how often when I post I do sound like an ass-hole. I agree 100% that I do, but it's in my nature (this is why I hate being black). I understand where you guys are coming from and I try to be a good sport about it. Naimat, even after the Steak n Shake talk we had I know you're just messing around man but you really get under my skin with it sometimes (I guess playing a character that annoying will teach you how to be good at that).

I don't recall ever getting upset at Lumin for stating his facts. He said what he wanted to say and he took his stand on the topic. However, I still disagree with him from most of the experience i've gained and I still keep my stand on the topic. As for the dick-riding I say that because it seems like almost everytime i've said something different than what you guys wanted to hear I would either get, you're stupid, nah you don;t know what you're talking about or something else of this nature. I've been around for as long as you guys and I believe the things I say are valid and deserve to at least be given thought before being brushed off the way they have been. Open-mindedness is what a discussion is really about and I haven't seem to run across much of it in this community. I'm done talking about this however. Extend is a few days away, and things are going to get interesting from now on.

What's wrong with that? He was willing to listen to what I had to say, show his side of the story and give details as to why he came to the conclusions he did. What's wrong with fucking having a different opinion? I understand that we're friends and all but this is a forum to discuss characters, agree, disagree, state facts, and engage each other. This whole "I need to dick-ride my friends and everything they say because we're friends" mentality needs to be stopped. It's old and it stops people who want to input something from being able to do so because they're afraid of breaking the status quo. This is more frustrating than the comment "Shut the fuck up" itself. Edit: It's cool man, I didn't really pay it much attention until Volpe mentioned it. But this is kind of how I felt about things for a long time so getting it out helped.

How the hell did me stating my opinion on a tier list that was for lawls and my opinion on a character who I feel is stupid going to cause an argument? It's almost like if I don't fucking bandwagon and agree with what everyone else is saying i'm somehow starting an argument. That's fucking bullshit and you know it, i'm better off not even posting anything if I can't have a different opinion. I like hearing what people have to say and if I see things differently then I say so, but getting a "Shut the fuck up" is unacceptable. I'm not cool with a statement like that at all because if anything was going to start an argument it woould be that very thing.

I'm not using Haku-Men, i'm only picking him back up in Extend because i'll never hear the end of it if I don't.

@Naimat: Simplicity is key my friend, but i'll take that as a compliment for now. @Volpe: My first combo vid I decided to make is going to be a Haku combo vid. Thinking about digging back up my old CT main roots, especially since my friend (the most bs godly Haku to walk this earth) is coming down this summer and he is trying to get me to play him again. I wish you could've played the guy in CT, his flow with Haku was like nothing i'd ever seen. Expect a lot of Haku-Men technology this summer. Edit: People are mad? Wait, did I miss something? That's not what i'm saying Papstr, i'm saying the only aspect of Ragna's character that I consider good about him is his range. I don't see why he'd be considered good for any other reason than this.

@Lumin: I really have to disagree, Ragna has some of the most ignorant hit-box shenanigans in the game. TBH, that's the only reason I think people consider him even a slightly good character. Everything else about him seems mediocre.

I didn't take the tier list thing all that seriously, I was just wondering if you guys had a basis for how it was being built. Pure curiosity. Also, I fought Lumin already Jackie, typical Ragna stuff. Edit: @Lumin: No, he's pretty damned stupid, this will never change. I find this funny because almost every Ragna player swears he is a good character with no bull-shit and deserves to be top tier. Again, I laugh at this... Also Naimat: I can't tell if that was supposed to be a joke or not but next time I see you i'm punching you in the face.

I don't think there's a Ragna out there that will ever convince me that he's good. Stupid yes, but the best...don't think so.

I really want to know how you guys rank this tier-list. If it's based off games then Astaroth is the only S tier since he plays multiple and places high in them. As for the rest of us, I can barely see most of us scraping B-tier. Also Jackie, Ragna is garbage, you've shown this to me first-hand.

@Milln: I really wanted to get some Soul Calibur 5 in today myself man but I won't be getting it for maybe a few days to a week. I might have to drop by to get some casuals in. Are you available this weekend? Really want to get into this game.

That is the last and most recent tier list to date, So unless you can find any closer to now that's currently the best (I found more websites but I saw no reason to add more since they all pointed to the same list and Arcadia is the most accurate). Again, it's not that the other characters weren't good enough to be S-tier, it's just that Makoto was so damned broken that she re-created what S-tier was in the game. She had an answer for every occasion, her damage was just ridiculous, once you got hit in the corner it was game-over (her orb oki made sure of this). She's just a flawless character. While the rest of the former S were indeed powerful they all had current things that made them easy to fight against. Noel's drive is hella easy to bait and punish (especially for Rags), Jin had no mix-up which made opening people up a bit of a pain (not really if you ask me), and Hazama can be mashed out of a lot of his block strings (there are few that are actually safe with him).
