  1. I'm no Kokonoe expert, but I use her more or less. 1) She's not much of a zoner, BUT she has tools for zoning that are quite useful. For example if the opponent is away and respecting you, you can do fireball or supah ball, then put a graviton over him to pull the fireball then use teleport to make an instant cross-up with the ball (lol), you can use Supah Ball as a reversal too.. Actually, her gameplay style is more like Rachel's, full of setups. You probably want to end your combos with a knockdown or B Pile Bunker (for auto-oki), that way you can prepare a setup with 22B (this is a bitch setup!), and then mixup your opponent with lows (2A or 2B) or highs (6B, j5C), or cross-ups (22C), or throws, or whatever comes to your mind lol. 2) If you start a combo and the opponent is crouched, you can combo into 2C. For example, for a crouching opponent you can do 5B > 5C > 2C > 5D > 5B > 5C > 236D > 5B > 5C > 3C > Supah Ball > 5D > 236C, that deals good damage and hits in midscreen. You can also combo into 2C after hitting an airborne opponent with the graviton, this is actually really easy. For example, 6A (anti-air) > j5B > dj5B > j5C > j6D > j236D > 66(on the ground!) > 2C > 6C > j2C, and you can enter that route if you hit with her overhead (6B) too: 6B > 22A > 6A > (the rest of the combo I've just mentionated). Also you can cancel her 2C into 236B for the auto-oki of her B Pile Bunker. 3) Her neutral game is quite good, her 5B has really short range and is not that fast, but probably you want a knockdown first, so you can enter with her A attacks (her pow pow pow is good for that xD) or use j2C (this makes an emergency tech but you are already close and in the offensive). After the knockdown you have a setup ready so you can mixup. 3C is also useful in midrange, as it is quite fast. Her teleport is so good, is 1F startup and it will probably take you out of the corner (but it has recovery!), it as very good offensive and defensive option. Always cancel her 6B into 22A, on hit or block. If you hit, you can combo into it easily, if you hit but they blocked it, the 22A will cover your recovery and space you a bit, making here overhead quite safe (damn...). Note that some of this things won't work in the next patch.

  6. So many tears in so little time.... If she's still viable, I'll keep using her . Idk about her matchup chart yet. Does anyone know how this is developing? I'm a bit worried about Azrael, his matchup was already kinda hard.
  7. I remember from somewhere that she has a projectile (only one though). Maybe she can zone a bit, but from the video it seems that she needs to stay close to deal good damage. Has the beam super armor like her boss form?

  9. Huge nerfs, what did people say about her position in the tier list? From what I have seen, she could still be up there (dunno if top tier though). Her damage is still kinda good, I think.
  10. There's good stuff in that. Her corner carry stays pretty much the same, and some combo routes still exist. So, I think is going to be like HiagoX said: full damage (I tiny bit more than before (?)) or oki with less damage (but nothing too different from what we had with CP1.0). She's 90% the same compared to CP1.0 from the little I have seen. Like Omni said It is best to know how the matchup changes with other people nerfs.

  12. New OST is awesome, Sol, Zato and Millia themes are awesome. I like more some of the older ones with some chars, like Chipp's.

  14. I agree with Skye, she's not terrible and this buffs/nerfs doesn't mean that much. The good thing is that her bad matchups are less bad now (lol), at least with the chars up there that got nerfed.

  16. I don't know guys, but in several general video game forums, there are a lot of people interested in Xrd just because it looks awesome. I think it can make the community to grow more. Personally, I'd love to see BB with those animations in supers, Astrals, intros/cinematics, but gameplay is a major factor (I'm pretty sure they know that lol) so it has to feel like a BB. Also, that's quite a lot of work, it could take several years, I wouldn't mind to wait some years for BB4, but it would be nice to update BBCP in the mean time too.

  20. I don't like that the opening is always played in the last round. Other than that the game looks quite fun. I'll probably stick with Misaka or Shana.
  21. I was watching the BBCP v1.1 Stream Clip in Kurushi's Channel and Kokonoe looks quite normal now, that's good. And Tsubaki is dealing good damage with 1 stock on counter (4.6k midscreen), did she was capable of doing that in BBCP 1.0?

  23. Remember that this is a loktest. The could make some final adjustments later, before its release. So with that nerf, they only changed some combo routes. Makoto's OD is quite good, she's one of those chars that overuses it and wins with it. Maybe that's the thing they wanted to nerf with the jB change, similar to Haku's air grab > OD nerf?
  24. I'm going to give an opinion. That's the worst possible scenario for her against Azrael, it's quite difficult to get out, specially on the corner. Against him, abuse the orb and use it as a shield when he is afar. For him to get past it is difficult as hell. The orb covers you against Gustaf, Black Hawk, 6C, 3C, Sentinel Dump, sometimes his dash and some of his air to ground moves, like his dive kick. So, he needs to jump over it, so you punish him with an anti-air. If he gets in, on wakeup DPunching him is very risky, since his dash cross-up is one of his main tools and you will whiff the DP, he also can bait it with his back dash very easily. Personally, I prefer to mash him 2A/5A since his normals are very slow, and you will punish his dash cross-up.
