Her standing A is huge, how slow is it compared to the rest of the cast? Dunno if someone tried it out at EVO though.

I've been thinking about that maybe if they are in unison like Mori said, they could be like Rachel, Nago, and Gii, like Airk said, but what about her hurtbox? I mean Nago is like an extension of Rachel's hurtbox and all. Could it be that Minerva is part of Celica's hurtbox as well if they are one unit with the aspect of two? That could be a problem. Guess we'll have to wait for more info.

UNIEL got 29/40 in famitsu according this weeks scans, I wonder about their opinions of the game.

Yay Celica! And maybe lambda will fight without her armor.

Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)

We really had some good news today, first Dengeki's release window and now this! I'll still buy the JP version since I will NOT wait 6 more months for UNiB. However, I'll probably buy the US version too to give support to Aksys, they're doing a really good job! -
How does she fare with the Time arcana? I like how in her backdash (that is huge) she gets the time clone to cover her and then you can try to punish with one of her moves out of her backdash. But i think her oki with time is not that good since she ends in the air after a knockdown. I'm liking thunder also 'cause is similar than time backdash, but instead it kind of covers your dash with a clash, and also has good oki, but then is difficult to land a 236C while in her dash while you are closing in, and that limits her mixup. Also, any ideas with other arcanas?

Is "Force Function" the special skill the each character has? Like Vatista's anti-counter hits, Wald's projectile destroyer, Linne's Double Jump and such. -
[Xrd] News & (Theoretical) Gameplay Discussion
Ragnarok_F4 replied to Shinjin's topic in Guilty Gear General
I think that the best thing Arcsys can do is keep going with their different series. A boom from one day to another is so difficult and out of their hand. However they are indeed making their games more and more appealing, and that's making the scene to grow little by little. I don't think that any of their games can stay several years as a main at EVO, however I can definitely see their games rotating and Arcsys getting one slot for their games at EVO continuously. Best we can do is support their games and play their games. When someone new start playing one of those games, you can show them the other games. Since they are similar there is a good chance that the new guy will like the other games and start to play them too. That way GG will benefit from the attention that P4A and BB got in those years. I have brought new players from P4A to BB and GG, and from BB to GG and P4A, and from GG to BB and P4A. So, if one of our games get a lot of attention we should be happy and should try to expand the other games around that game. Xrd can definitely benefit from the recent past of BB and P4A, and as a plus it looks sick so I'm sure that it will have a LOT of attention, and as result BB and P4A can use that in their favor too to expand themselves. -

At least I think a move is easier to patch than a whole character like Linne was. -
Nice. My game arrived yesterday, so I'll be hitting this forums constantly .

In my case is just because it looks good, fluid and the cast is likeable. And that's for me, I haven't touched it so I can't talk about gameplay or other stuff. I've read that the game is something like playing KOF with GG speed (a tad slower to me than GG, but dunno) with the execution of Melty Blood. How accurate is that? -

New Fighting Game Based On Shining Series

I like the chars but I see it kind of sluggish, but I like that you can change chars between rounds too. If only they retained the mechanics and made it a bit faster...... -

Oh well,......from the execution view is not much of a problem, but the reversed position of A and B respect Blaz's type A is driving me nuts in the neutral game.....this is gonna take a while I suppose. But more importantly is the position of the hand, it feels so unnatural............I guess I'll have to practice a lot more in this game. Thank you xP.

Hey guys I have a question, I'm making the transition from pad to stick. Does P4U2 have still only that horrid layout in the arcade cabinets? AC BD I want to play the stick with one of default types of the different games. I'm playing Blazblue's type A right now, it is quite comfortable, but I'm gonna change to type B since that layout plays in almost every other game (GGXrd, BBCP, UNIEL, AH3, SF) except in the first P4U......So that's why I'm asking.....

[CP1.1] Makoto Nanaya's Gameplay Discussion - When's 2.0?
Ragnarok_F4 replied to HiagoX's topic in Makoto Nanaya
Definitely. 5A combos are really short and has low damage (useful for mashing out some stuff since is a fast 5A though). 5C is a very fast C (faster than her 5B, and faster than a lot 5C of the cast), it leads to great combos with lots of damage, but is very short, so you have to be careful. 5B is decent in terms of speed, but has a good reach, is 1 frame slower than ragna's and 1 frame faster than bullet's all of them has a similar reach. 5B also leads to a lot of combos. So yes, I think that her best starter is her 5B, and as mAc said you will have to do a mini-dash to punish some things before attacking. -
[CP1.1] Makoto Nanaya's Gameplay Discussion - When's 2.0?
Ragnarok_F4 replied to HiagoX's topic in Makoto Nanaya
Tiers aren't that bad here in this game, she is indeed low tier, but it is not that you won't be able to win at all. Probably she is one of the characters that needs more footsie work than others, and good yomi too and for that you need matchup knowledge and for that you need to play. And a good Makoto can be quite scary too and can win, she has good damage, good pressure, short range. Just go play and have fun and the rest will come, however there's already a bunch of veterans in this game so it is frustrating at first (like almost any other FG) so patience is vital. It doesn't matter which character will you pick, is gonna be difficult at first, except Azrael that is easy to pick and has so much damage and maybe Kokonoe that has so many tools. -

That is sooner than expected for America, I really thought that would the case for Japan and 2015 for America, but nice! Hype is rising xP! Probably this won't have english dubs like the old GG's and so it is faster to localize. However, isn't it a bit to close to P4U2 release? -
We Need an Arcana Heart 3 Section
Ragnarok_F4 replied to Grimsley-San's topic in Site Feedback and Suggestions
I like the idea, in my case I've been playing GG, BB, P4A and AH3 for years now, and gonna be playing UNIEL when it hits the consoles. It is indeed better to have all the info and forums in one site, and the 5 games are somehow related to ASW (be it developer or publisher). However, I do agree that if it is decided to make extensions for these 2 games, it has to be a test subforum to test the waters.
