  1. For me this amiami is the best: http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=TVG-PS3-1805&page=top%2Fsearch%2Flist%3Fs_keywords%3Dblazblue%24pagemax%3D20%24getcnt%3D0%24pagecnt%3D1 Cheap & fast shipping. This is the first place where the items sell out though. Playasia is good also. I'm buying from nippon-yasan, since this was one of the few places with ebten limited editions left (right now they are sold out though): http://www.nippon-yasan.com/lang-en/japanese-video-games-playstation-3/5128-ps3-blazblue-chronophantasma.html Also there are nin-nin and yesasia websites where you can look at. They are selling the game too. http://www.nin-nin-game.com/japanese-import-playstation-3-brand-new-softs/6578-blazblue-chronophantasma-standard-edition-ps3-en.html http://www.yesasia.com/us/blazblue-chronophantasma-normal-edition-japan-version/1033200078-0-0-0-en/info.html
  2. There is lots of information to know with each character for a single post. It's better if you go to the respective forums of each character, generally there are some beginner guides that tell you the pros and cons of each character. For example, Lambda is great at mid-long range and has good of pressure, but lacks too much in the defense department since she doesn't have very good reversals. So basically with her, stay away of the opponent range and attack him from the distance. Also, the people there knows their characters very well so they can give you good advices and tips for each character. I think you started pretty good practicing and memorizing some combos, now comes one of the hardest part that is to apply what you learned without panicking in a match. About your concerns, again, they depend of the character you are using. For example, Lambda has great movement, she can run quite fast and has a good air dashes, Hazama on the other side has very bad movement for himself, so you have to rely mostly on his chains to move, to make mix ups and keep pressure. A general tip, when you are in the air/jumping keep in mind that there are lots of air unblockable moves, so is a good habit to defend with the barrier while you are off the ground.
  3. Hope that she stays like that 'cause her infinites were awful and annoying.
  4. Nope. My status hasn't changed either. DogsofWar what type of shipping are you using? With EMS (the most expensive one) I don't think it will be more than 2000 yens (around 20 bucks). If your using the others it could be lower than 10 bucks.
  5. It could be, it would be a very late announcement if they intend to release the console port next month. Could this be the game that ArcSys wanted to announce in October?
  6. ^Yeah pretty much that. I don't know if this is a very clever move since it is very close to BBCP release date and it covers almost the same audience, so it could worsen the sales, but dunno. I'm probably importing this too though xD. Dammit to many games in so little time: Chaos Code, Phantom Breaker, BBCP and now this (there's also DoA5U, Jojo and others out there....). Can't play them all :S.
  7. It's in Spanish but is the first note I think: http://www.gamercafe.cl/2013/09/15/examu-anuncia-version-para-consolas-de-arcana-heart-3-love-max/
  8. But I think you can play the game in your normal account. You just need the JPN account to download Terumi or get some DLC. Once downloaded you can play in your normal account with all the DLC stuff.
  9. Someone within ASW really likes to troll people . US BB homepage says is gonna be 24 characters, amazon says is gonna be 25, back then at E3 someone told that there were gonna be 25 (I don't remember if it was 26). If the character selection screen stays as it was in Terumi's loktest, with 24 characters the screen won't be symmetric, if at the end we get 25 characters the screen gets it's symmetry but someone won't be able to exchange colors with other character because is an odd number....:sweatdrop:..... My bet, a) they rearrange the character selection screen and the game stays with the 24 characters, b) or there is gonna be a slot for another future DLC character we don't know.
  10. This. Mu's DP recovers so fast after a clash, and is pretty fast, I guess baiting it is the best option, that and reading you're opponent's moves. Now that we are talking about matchups, in EX, playing against Tao is a huge pain in the ass. She doesn't stay still, her pokes are faster, her pressure is better and her mixups are insane. The only good thing against her is that here damage output is not that high.....unless you're playing in CP. God dammit I'm scared of Tao in CP .
  11. Jourdal uploaded a Combo Video with OverDrive that Kuroko made. It has some practical combos, can't wait to try some of them ^^. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJ4nwtb4nyI
  12. Hey, what's that about shadow characters gameplay wise? I mean, are they like unlimited chars (broken as hell/not useful) or are they part of the core gameplay?
  13. Ok, that gameplay looks awesome. It's really impressive the work they did with 3D models. It looks and already feels like a GG. ...And now, the long long LONG wait begins....it would be nice if the release it for consoles sometime before 2016...
  14. That's a LOT of time....Good thing I'm importing. Gonna buy the english version to give them support though. Probably they want to release BBCP farther away from the PS4/X1 release since most people won't have much money the next weeks after that.
  15. Pretty much what Bubbles said. This is my first time pre-ordering in N Y, but since it has good comments/reviews I'm taking the risk. And about the difference...I don't know haha, I discovered recently that they were different editions.
  16. Aw...too bad, i was looking forward to watch more of her. I hope that they add her as DLC/unlockable for the PS3 game (quite possible since she already has her slot in the character selection screen). Still have much hype for this game, I expect that they made the necessary fixes to improve its balance.
  17. First, there are two extra editions besides the normal edition. The limited edition has the OST, the artbook, and a figure Nendoroid of Rachel (the figure is probably the reason of the high price). The famitsu/ebten edition brings all that and an scroll of the game. All three editions brings the DLC code for Terumi on pre-order. Second, in terms of gameplay, the JP version is exactly the same as the US/EU versions. I have read here that the JP older versions even had the english voices, so it is assumed that the JP version of BBCP will have the voices in english and japanese. The only difference in the game versions is the text, all the menus and the story come in moonrunes. So, unless you know how to read japanese properly you won't be able to understand what is happening. However it is safe to assume that someone is kind enough to translate some of the menus for us. For the story you will have to wait for the US version. And to buy it, Amiami is the cheapest but it runs out very fast (currently sold-out). Right now, I think there are 3 choices: Play-asia, Yesasia and Nippon-Yasan. Yesasia IS expensive. If you go with the regular edition Nippon-yasan has a good price for shipping. Search in those places and estimate the price for your needs.
  18. Whoa, cool stuff! Have been waiting a long time for a sentence like that. Now I can say "finally":yaaay:. Btw where is Nanase? Is she going to be tested in another loketest?
  19. That's a lot of supers, since he steals heat with his drive I think his DD won't deal too much damage, I guess his DD would be to extend combos. Actually, I have more hype for Kagura than Terumi, but I also would like to see how Terumi's drive works in a real match. Also, it would be awesome if Celica become playable someday, but I guess it won't happen soon since they are doing some loctest with the new chars.
  20. Wait! Are they gonna release a digital version of BBCP in the JPN PSN Store??!!
  21. That is something I usually do, but I don't have that kind of patience for BBCP hahaha. I'll be going crazy if I have to wait 1-2 more weeks to try this game after the release date . And all this because Amiami pre-orders disappeared in 1 day .
  22. I pre-ordered 2 copies of the Ebten edition from there because it was sold-out almost in everywhere and the feedbacks/reviews in their facebook looked quite good. However I must warn you, the shipping is not as cheap as it looks. Using the EMS(Express) (3-4 days of shipping) it cost me almost $70, that's a lot. But I think is still cheaper than yesasia and play-asia since I'm sharing the bill with another friend.
  23. Since Kagura will be the "secret" unlockable character this time, I put my bets that the last char will be someone we already know in the series, but who knows Mori xD. Maybe Nine, Kokonoe, Celica, Saya? About the release.....I can't believe they are kicking the game until next year! Yeah, I know......localization, voices and all that, but that's a huge amount of time. I just CAN'T wait 6-8 more months. I need to import this. Next year then, I will buy US version too to support Acksys.
  24. I never played GG as much as BB, but dammit I love that game. And this trailer is so f**** hype. I don't need much more than BB, GG and P4A. I don't know how ASW manages to pull games like those, but holy **** they are awesome. Makoto/Johnny/Aigis all the way.
  25. First, Asteriod Vision>CCCCCCC... has a tight timing. Asteriod Vision > First C, is a link a bit weird. So I do it like this: 5B>5C>5C>214A>(a very little delay)>5C>5C.....If you fail the opponent will recover and block, and then comes the punishment. The second question, I assume your trying to do 214A>5C>5B>2A. First the opponent has to be crouched if you want to connect 5B after 5C. Second, landing the 2A is another link so you have to practice that a bit too. I usually train like this: 1) Go to the lab. Practice some combos. Once you have the combos you like, practice them until you can pull them out easily. 2) Go to versus (vs CPU). Try to land the combos you practiced before against the AI. This is very important, because you will learn how to land your combos with the so few opportunities you have in a match (especially with Makoto). Try adjusting the AI level until you can defend well-attack well-try some pressure-and confirm your hits into combos. 3) Then if you can play with someone offline, do it. You will learn how people thinks/reacts to your tactics. This is where you will know if the tactis/combos/resets you practiced in the first step are going to work. Also I prefer this over online matches first, because lag with Makoto is a seriuos pain in the ass. Lag is different every match online, so you have to adjust the Impact timing every match, and that's just not easy at the beggining. If you can't go offline then go to 4) 4) Try some online matches, have fun and patience and results will come. It's just a matter of not giving up. Remember that BB has a big dedicated community that plays since BBCT, so they have a lot more experience. You will catch up, you just need to keep at it, enjoy the game and enjoy playing with Makoto. That's the key to find motivation to keep practicing. If you want to try something new, I usually do this steps again.
