if its a good starter you should do max damage mid screen. You can do just about the same damage mid screen compared to corner. Carry them to corner if you need the reset.
-
for AN group you should talk to sonia, she's always got the AN hookups

lol i was kinda surprised to see spark lose but i can definitely tell that copper's put in quite a lot of training since.. in fact i think norcal has leveled up quite a bit in general so whatever they're doing they should keep doing it im sure spark will go back and study the matchup after this, and next time things will be different congrats to the winners, and good luck to them in japan

lets move the ranbat to the 25th of feb saturday
-
I ordered mine on amazon.ca and it still has the same date but it hasn't shipped yet.
-
Hmm let's postpone it then. I'm starting to get the feeling the Canadian csex release got pushed back from looking at the ebgames page.

Feb 19 Sunday next week we're planning ranbats at k2's party room. More info to come.

One of the most common questions i get about learning arakune is in regards to the 6C curse loop in cs2/ex. It took me awhile before I discovered that I've been doing it wrong for a long long time. Also most people don't seem to do the loop correctly anyway. So I think we should add it to the faq. Midscreen: 6C>5C(hold)>3C(release C + tap 5D) - full loop Corner: 6C>5C(hold)>3C(release 6C+ tap 6d) - full loop -Do 6C early and space out the timing of 6C>5C such that you don't release a C bug on the first 6C but not too fast that the second hit of the rekka doesn't come out at all. -if your near corner but not quite there it's still with 5d bug I don't know if it works when I have the back to the corner in the corner.

all the popeye's stores are different, they're all disgusting in their own way.. especially the one at york university~ hero's burger is like the starbucks of hamburgers.. you go there just to feel yourself XD i agree with steve, old school Johnny's Hamburgers for a good burger without going too far~

Just ignore pui russell. He is just being a retard.

Okay guys I need to recount monitors and csex copies for this weekends tourney. Pui and I are bringing a monitor each. We need two more. Can k2, Cambridge or Montreal bring one monitor? Also need to recheck copy count. Roldy is bringing one. Need one more. Worldjem are you bring one? All the people bringing gear need to be there before 12 pm preferably. I think its free venue fee to people bringing monitors.

pressing 3cd during 3a startup is the best way. You'll get used to the timing. It is easy to get 2d or 3c by accident since 2a goes into them. As for a low mix up after it's usually between 2b and jc. You get 2 tries and depending on which hit hits or guard breaks follow up a dive>c dive to confirm. There is a good section in the jp curse tutorial vid on this scenario.

yeah thats eki-chan's corner meterless combo ender. It does good damage but it only works if there's not too much hit stun proration. Used mostly in those situations where you do one wheel loop and not enough curse for much else. It's not character specific but it's harder on some characters then others where jC tends to miss them (ie. makoto). It's not even corner specific but you have to be pretty damn close when you hit a 6c for it to work outside of corner. Here's some 6c meterless curse building combos combos. Corner 6C>6C2>5A>6B>IAD Barrier Cancel JD>5D>JA*2>JC>JD Near Corner 6C>6C2>5A>JA>JC>A dive cancel > 5A6B>IAD Barrier Cancel JD>6B>IAD Barrier JD>5D 6C CH>5A>JA>JC>A dive cancel>5D>hjc>JA*2>JB>JC>JD

looks good guys~ i'll start organizing on our end in Toronto

that double jump jC combo from air throw is actually fairly situation.. quite often you'll have used the double jump to grab.. the airdash into dives or just straight into dives is hard because the timing and spacing involved to get a dive cancel 5d.. im still playing around with the best choices.. but so far with 50% and double jump.. go for super.. 50% and no double jump go for A dive>C dive (RC)> 5D>jA>JC>JD without meter go for wheel or even a teleport to land and start dropping cloud/bell bug there's also the weird situation when your super low to the ground.. i've tried random things with mixed success.. i tried A dive (dive cancel)>6b, land>6b > land>beam super i think this needs more experimentation~ but seems to be 100% curse possible
