your airdashing too early which causes you to be too low and not have enough time for two j4AA because you land too soon and get 5A

hmm i went to LG today because I was bored.. confirmed the things that were told to K2.. eta is December (delays from Thailand flooding).. no word on new cab

when i went down to NYC, i ended up playing some CS1 against leo for a bit because we couldn't get cs2 working.. i miss CS1~ anyways time to give a brief intro of how new games work at LG usually... - for at least until the console release the game will probably be 75 cents to play.. if we do get a new cab it might even be $1 per play - during the first few weeks the OG's tend to play it 7 days a week to figure stuff out - in previous years the first tourney the boss throws in a prize (eg posters and random stuff that came with the board) CSEX will be a good start for anyone that jumped into CS2 late. Good time for learning new characters while everyone's still figuring stuff out. It also lets us get ahead a little compared to other communities that dont' get the chance to play it until console release.

dive cancel combos can be started from lots of stuff but the ones you listed, 2c(rc/fatal), 5c(normal/fatal), gold burst are your standard ones. Other ones are jA>(something>)jC and some uncommon ones are 3c(jump cancel), anti air 6a>5d, anti air 5b, jC fatal, 5d anti air. When a dive cancel can be actually done is hard to explain. It's character specific and will vary with distance/height, distance to wall, character's hitbox so it takes a lot of experimentation. If you look in the archives there's an advanced combo thread for cs1 where I go through and list all variations on all characters (minus platina). Most of those still apply but you can't get 100% curse anymore due to repeat move proration. A few hitboxes changed and you no longer jump straight up anymore and many cases jA>jB>jC>B dive is more stable then before.

zzz.. there's been alot of discussion lately about LG getting csex.. but the owner's not convinced we'll support it once console release hits.. if anyone happens to be by LG you guys should bug the owner about csex.. show him that we still exist.. i know i haven't been very active lately.. busy with work mostly but once pui is back from hk we'll start ramping up again. Probably a danisen league for november for cs2 at A&C. K2's been busy with work also so thats why we haven't been having the level up sessions in the party room. also if csex does happen to arrive at LG, we'll probably be doing a launch party tourney for that there.. and if not then sometime december if the disc version does come out.. also up for discussion is NEC (philly major).. we attended last year as a group and it was one of the first where we went in force but not the last.. this year montreal will also be trying to attend so hopefully we will be able to get a car or two full and meet them there to represent canada for a cs2 farewell

Hello, welcome to the community The basement casuals are usually organized at my place but are on hold this month due to work. It's around finch/leslie area usually. The first thing would be to see if there are any players near you locally for casuals. I know a few are just starting their school terms so they could meet down at A&C with you. Next then look into attending T12's blazblue tourney coming up later this month.

yes they released an international release sometime back so they have bbcs2 in a few arcades in the US and asia
