I'm not saying do random dandy steps that beg for potbuster.. I'm saying do BDC dandy on reaction to Potemkin's big burly ass moves. They are all mostly active for more than 6 frames so regular dandy will get hit, but BDC dandy will not. Also, isn't it true that BDC moves cannot be thrown?

I like to BDC dandy because most people I play with get a little antsy when Slayer dissapears (from there, they have to think: Did he BDC or FDC? Is he going to throw? Mappa? Dandy? Jump?) I just like to force people to react to dashing and I mean, we can cancel any dash with any special move.. so why not? My most prime example of why BDC punch dandy is good is for Pot moves. Try to just dandy away from them and you get CH but if you BDC the dandy it's like free crosswise/bunker/any dandy move

Tensionless monster was awesome. Now Zaido, you must jack their guard bar when you have 75% tension and do Bite DOT FRC into HALF life! Also, nice AD K K stuff. I still don't have that down. Good mappas against 6H. MOAR 5H pilebunker enders! They feel so good. I posted other things but it (the internet) messed up and I'm stoned and lazy so I don't wanna write it again. AND DO MORE FUNNY THINGS WITH TENSION! n.n good shit man. I enjoyed the matches. (wow stoned.)

Ross, BDC dandy useless? ... BDC Mappa - To punish (or throw bait) BDC Bite - (Bitebuster) BDC jump - (escape, airthrow) BDC dandy - to get out of mixup and then to apply pressure with S and H.. . or crosswise or pilebunker. BDC dandy gives you more invul, a FRC or four other options for your opponent to deal with.. I start out most of my mixup with dandy. So why not? Instead of always BDC 1f jump, fuck with their heads a little bit. More invincible options than everyone is why Slayer starts with S. So yeah, I try to use them all to keep my opponent guessing instead of "Oh he just dissapeared. Here comes a jump or a mappa.

the invincibilty doesn't start until late.. you can always do FDC dandy and get the same effect plus earlier invul

Yeah, that's true. It just opens up empty jump in throw. I just know that you can do j.H late and if she blocks it, the counter will be blocked and if the j.H doesn't come out, you can throw. It's almost always a free throw unless the Baiken player is on to you. Funny matchup. OH BTW - Prostrats. If Baiken is doing j.H correctly (meaning you can't 2S) it's SO easy to forward dash under her, jump back and airthrow. Her j.H's hitbox is in front so forward dashing under her is a good idea. Another BTW - 2P and 5K are really annoying. 2P especially. rtl or hellmonkey, wanna move this conversation to the matchup thread? I'd do it but I'm not a mod! (LOOKS AT KOOGY. GIVE ME YOUR MOD SPOT!)

Hellmonkey, j.H is counter safe... I've seen it in countless videos and have been safe countless times vs. baiken players.

you can also do it the lazy way where you do an aircombo then relaunch and it's SJI'ed Easy SJI rocks.

You can punish slide head with dandy without BDC just takes timing. Also, 2H will work vs slidehead from VERY far away. Making 2H DOT FRC a VERY good way to get dmg against pot.

CD you can IB first hit of eddie K and then backdash out. IT's way better than trying SB and getting hit with 30% + unblockable.

Oh man the bite setups... most common: 2P FDC Bite 2P FDC P Dandy FRC FDC Bite 6HS FRC Bite SEECRIT SETUP: WHIFF 2S oki BITE LOL BLATANTLY STAND IN THROW RANGE FOR OKI BDC BITE their 6HS~! LOL Pretty much, here is how to get a good bite in.. Poke with P's until they get hit and then bite them.

Robo... I play this matchup a lot and it's a lot of 2HS and 6P. 2S oki is also good. Eat a DP every now and then so you can get half life on him with a 2S CH via IB. Deci, I 6P his horsey on reaction.. When you have him in the corner, it's the same as fighting sol or ky. Just bait special moves. 6P beats horsey, 2H beats his 2K, IB the DP and you've got a half life combo off any of these hits. Pilebunker loop is easy on him. During spacing/zoning, 5K, 2P, 2K and 2S are your friends. Don't bother jumping or blocking robo dash because you can BDC pilebunker/crosswise once he gets close. Every robo ky loves 2K 2S mat. Most robo ky's also base their mixup off delaying 2S or doing command throw. You can IB the 2K and BDC mappa the 2S. You can also straight up SB the 2S and punish mat with anything you want. SBing his shit really takes away most of his mixup/pressure game. Ok, this matchup breaks down into... Baiting his DP into half life 2HSing his 2K into half life SBing his 2S into half life 6Ping horsey into half life I REALLY like to crank the gaurd gauge in this matchup because all of the moves to CH robo lead to huge combos and if the GG is cranked, it's GG. I'll seriously throw out 6HS, 2P 6HS until it's flashing and ALWAYS try to CH his solution to it. also, 5K P mappa, BDC mappa, BDC mappa will crank GG hardcore and deal with any poke he tries to throw out after mappa.

Those are coooool. I'd record this one but I can't... VS BA midscreen 6K>5K>6P>FRC>K mappa>5P SJC> j.S>j.D>j.2K>j.K>land into whatever. Does almost half life i think and it's easy.

I don't think reversal Fujin will always punish 2D. It may punish it if the SL is using the very late frames, but any SL knows that vs. Anji you do 2D late to catch his Fujin into a free combo. Also, doing Fujin mixups isn't really a good idea because if he IB's the fujin he gets a free 2H/2D/2K into whatever combo and CH 2D combos hurt if the SL can do them.

I love 2D when I see them Mappa or dandy. It's like... "NO! MY HITBOX IS ACTIVE AND IN YOUR CH STATE!" EDIT: To reiterate what I posted, here is a situation and a combo. Slayer is full screen. Other slayer decides to throw mappa. You SEE the mappa, and do... CH 2D->5HS->iad j.K-j.K->5H->sj.H->j.D->j.2K->j.K->5H->iad j.D almost FULL screen away.

If you jack the gaurd gauge to like 30 your dust combo will do so much life.
