Nay, I'm not talking about DB on hit. What I'm talking about is when a ball has that aura around it like when it's hit. That's the freeze ball glitch?

I know what you mean. I'm so bad at managing my ball summons too. I hardly ever perform CR or SA. I don't even use FB MAd struggle. I can do rushdown and pressure decently but 1-2 ball summon only lasts so long.... So how does Venom do the ball summon when the ball floats and glows and can do 3 hits?(clearly not DB on hit).

Not even a month of playtime. And my PS2 overheats so I can't get in that 3 hrs of practice 7 days a week that need to get better and I'm training with I-no too.

Well I dunno about the Arcade "feel" but turning up the sound makes the game sound better. The default setting is 28 out of 128(been a long time), so putting it on 128 sounds fantastic. My tv volume is on 7 out of 100 and you can hear it quite well. Just test it yourself. -Music:128 -Voices:128 -Sound effects:128 -

Did you turn up the volume for voices/sound effects in sound options? Cuz Sol's Tyrant Rave and Grand Viper sound great to me. Hell, it's so loud it gave me a headache. -
Yuki has been compared to a Slash Order-Sol without the ability to go past lvl.1. I wanna play him too but man sometimes I wonder....

PS2 fliptops anymore. It should have the place for the network adaptor since it's pretty much the PS2 case with a fliptop lid. -
A key thing though: You have to study his mixup game. I'm familiar with Eddie's and Testament's mixups so I can block most of their attacks. That leaves him with jacking up your guard guage and his unblockables. I recommend looking at Eddie when he starts his mixup. I mean really watch him. It's kinda easy to see a his overhead coming. It's just his command throw and that projectile you have to worry about. I wonder if there is a gap between Eddie's attack and when he summons the drill's.

Eddie is bullshit given life. No one can justifiy his unblockables with his difficulty.(Pissed) -On topic: IAD over drills. That's all I got. This fight sucks. I end up blowing 25% tension on fafnir or BHB or Rock It lvl.2/3/ to kill little Eddie and attack eddie at the same time. CC your block string. I actually use BHB lvl.3 for some sort of mixup. Tends to work. You can use BHB lvl.3 as some sort of crazy ass camo to start your mixup. But you better move fast. And Rock it lvl.1 may be worth something in this fight. I've landed a decent amount RI lvl.1 CHs. This could backfire in your face cuz Eddie has that damn reflector move. The Eddie I play gave up on trying to stop me from reaching lvl.3. One problem though, the Eddie I play uses Break The Law. That is quite annoying. That itself is a mixup tool. And jump ins fail too. Cuz faggot Eddie has that huge ass claw that beats all of your jumpins. ALL OF THEM. Cuz Eddie really needed that didn't he ARC? Shit got more range than Axl's 6K and 2S. Eddie shouldn't have unblockables. No character justifies having unblockables especially Eddie since it doesn't it make since I-no and Venom actual setups that could be unblockable but aren't. Thanks alot ARC. I'm sorry guys. Just thinking about Eddie really pisses me off.

I was testing it against the CPU earlier this morning. Ball summon on block pretty much backfired. Is it best to opt for DC>ball summon after a sweep with KD? Or I should SA or CR instead?

Is it a bad idea to cancel some of Venom's pokes(2S,f.S,5HS,6HS) into summon on block?

Well it is possible to combo after corner air throw with HOS on a good amount(if not all) of the cast. The common method is using a Savage Fang for relaunch but there are tension free solutions as well. I will be tesing for corner airthrow tension free combos all weekend. Hopefully other HOS players like Gunblaze will post their findings as well. EDIT:@Gunblaze: The Order-Sol combo thread started by LM Akira and contributions from WUT,LM Akira, and Titanium Beast cover corner throw combos. Did you check there? Okay, in an effort to up my mixup game, I've decided to add tk dives into my strings. I can tk the dives but I'm having trouble doing the TK dives in string. Is this a good idea? And if so what dives should I use?

Well, you can 6K CC to start your rushdown but you better be good at FDC your run just in case. You can also try 6K>2D CC, 6K CC f.S CC. If I do 6K and it gets blocked, I either 2D CC,or RARELY BRP, CC begin my rushdown, or CC and do nothing to anticipate an attack. Also 6K CC dash in throw(could be a bit risky). And you can go for 6K>6HS but if the 6K isn't a CH your opponent can backdash out of it(applies to all CH>6HS normals if the required normal isn't a CH). 6K on block CC can be used for a bunch of reasons. Throws, fafnir, rushdown,mixups, frametraps,pokes,charging. But you should familarize yourself hit confirming(if that's what it's called)if you land a 6K CH you can take advantage of the 6HS followup. Know your pokes(2K,2S,5K and such) and your mixups. Overall it's up to you and the situation you're in. Hopefully the other Order-Sol players here can add in more input.

The only BR>sidewinder combos I've seen are either A)Ground BR RC j.HS(or not)>Sidewinder. As for TK BR, you might be able to get a sidewinder from it but it usually requires A)opponent airbourne and B)BR FRC. Personally I don't use it. If you want to go ahead. But, I have seen a combo in which Sol does repeated TK BR's to get his opponent in the corner without ever FRC the BR. I'll see if I can find the vid. -

I don't understand the I-no matchup at all. 6.0-4.0 in HOS's favor? How? And the Jam matchup is in HOS's favor too? Well, okay. I did destroy the two Jam players around here with BS about Jam's 6HS. Lol when I Gunblazed Jam's Puffball. Apparently you can throw Jam out of her 236S and Puffball. Damn FB Puffball nonsense....

My bad, double post. Potemkin's j.D is odd(high priority?). It either clashes or beats alot of stuff. Take for instance Johnny's lvl.3 Mist Finer. Did you know Pot's j.D can clash with EVERY HIT? I wonder if 6K can beat Slide Head at close range? EDIT: 6HS loses to Gunblaze according to the Pot matchup thread.

I'm not sure if Potemkin Buster has throw invul but since it's a command throw, command throws beat normal throws. As for his "Iron Ass", Gunblaze that. If Pot jumps in with any of his j.normals, Gunblaze it. Be forewarned: Mega fist(foward) is a Potemkin Buster setup. So is HF brake and either 2k or 5k also. If you suspect a Pot Buster,6K. If your 6K gets blocked CC. I CC alot these days. I think(have 2 confirm)f.S beats Slide head.... According to the Potemkin matchup thread, Order-Sol's j.p beats Pot air-to-air. If Potemkin tries to move in with HF, BHB or throw. I think FB: Judge Gauntlet can be thrown too. I have to do some research, on this. I HATE POTEMKIN.
