  1. Well it was on Baiken..... I'll try to do some experimentation with it to see what I can find.
  2. Is it possible to get a CH throw? I ask this because I've seen combo vids of Sol getting an air throw then landing a clean hit fafnir. So I tried to replicate this and I found out that if the throw is a CH Sol can land fafnir.
  3. Dragon Install sucks because it's pure offense. Once you Dragon Install you cannot sit there and block. You'll run out of time. Not to mention the tension penalty you get IF it ends on it's own. Second one hit and BAM Sol's fainted. IK for free anyone? Factor in the game speed and DI gets defeated quite quickly. And don't give combo vids any credit either. You see stuff like 2HS jc.,.D,BR FRC,j.D,BF FRC,Sidewinder.
  4. He'll do things like 2/5K>5S>2S>GF FRC repeat or start with GF FRC then the previous string. And I didn't know HOS can get thrown out of BRP during startup. And damn I suck against Johnny. If I time it right Gunblaze can pass under 6HS or I might go for 2D but damn learning the timing takes alot of time. I can't jump in on him because he'll stick out 6HS if I'm not point blank in his face or TK Ensenga if I'm away from him.
  5. 6HS doesn't connect after f.S unless f.S is a CH. So there's no way c.S>f.S>6HS can combo normally. That's why I think it may have to be CC to land 6HS in a combo without a CH.
  6. I remember long ago when I saw c.S,CC,f.S,CC,6HS. Is this just too much trouble to learn? Is that why no one does it? Or is it because it's not practical?

  8. Dude Dragon Install sucks. Use it if you want but soon you'll discover why Dragon Install is the WORST Overdrive in the game. Sol only has it because he's a gear. Look at Dizzy and Justice. They got that big-ass-end-the-world-no-sex beam. So Sol has something like that. This is Dragon Install. It is to simply show Sol's power in gear form.
  9. Wait? What? WHAT? That's not a hidden move for Slayer. The command isn't 63214+S either. Slayer doesn't have a 63214+S move. He has a 214+S move. It Dandy step S which is why he can do the same followups as 214+P/K.

  11. Hmmm... What controller are you doing it with? You could try turning on input display and try to see what you're messing up on.
  12. I tend to do BRP lvl.3 into c.S,5HS,SJC,j.S,j.HS,j.D and depending on who I'm fighting I may or may not do a BRP. But then again lvl.3 BRP requires to be in much closer range than Rock It lvl.3.

  15. Hey, LM Akira, do you remember when HOS GGXXS tutorial came out? During certain parts of the vid they would slow down or pause whatever HOS was doing like air-to-air with j.P to setup for unblockable storm viper... You think you can do that for some of the features in Part 4? Cuz that would be real nice. And possibly leave the input on for certain moves/combos?
  16. Koichi is a super human. He gets 100% tension and earns a perfect. That is madness. MADNESS. He literally dances on your face and laughs as you die. Just the way I like it. I wanna see Koichi vs FAB. I wanna see how Koichi take on Potemkin. Or Isa's Sol.
  17. A little tidbit about the CPU. The CPU tends not to always tech when the BEAT goes black. Eventhough you know they could have teched at that point doesn't mean it'll happen. The CPU falls for nonsense from time to time like eating a Gunflame on wakeup. Which explains why in a match you might land j.D after tatami.
  18. Okay I just tried it. Settings: Training Mode Dummy Recovery Frames:0 Recovery:Front tested on:Anji Mito First of all I couldn't always land the j.D after tatami(ground tatami right?). And whenever I did the BEAT turned black. However I did notice that when I set counter to first and landed a tatami CH the j.D was possible and the BEAT didn't turn black. Are you sure you're not landing CH tatami's? Wait a minute... Who are you testing it on?
  19. List some of the combos you're doing. Someone here might give it a try. You know what never mind. try this: With Sol do grandviper no clean hit, then perform a air combo. If that doesn't make the beat counter black then you might have a messed up copy.
  20. DO NOT SET RECOVERY AT FRAME 30. The CPU will NEVER tech. The lower the number=the more likely they can tech. I set recovery frames at 0-3max. In the Japanese version of AC even if the recovery frames are set at 30 the beat counter will still go black. It still happens when I practice in training mode if I do a combo that I mess up on. And it could be that you might have not set tech on neutral,random,fwd, or back.
  21. What? I got gold/Black Characters before I got the stages. Stages came last for me. -Black/Gold Characters are only with SLASH and #R(Taunt button) settings of the character you selected(I believe L1 and R1?)AC colors and EX colors don't have a Gold/Black option.
  22. Homing Jump is when you land a dust and jump after your enemy. You interested in learning HOS's dust combos?
  23. I was wondering if it was worth using against anybody in general. Another question: If you have meter and let's say at X height you cannot execute a Clean Hit Sidewinder, and using j.HS or j.D or j.S will not get you in position, is using air BR FRC to get a Sidewinder combo in an option?
