  1. How? Cuz I like to hear the music know as my opponent suffering as Sol beats their ass??? Or is it because I use fafnir whereas everyone abandoned the move and I won matches against testy with it? Or cuz I learned that if Slayer does 214P i could do fafnir(whiff)TR CH? Or cuz when Pot FB judge Gauntlet I knew that TR would destroy it? I just really enjoy playing Sol that's all. Why the hate Spirit juice???? Edit: can someone post the link to the grand viper loop?
  2. I just wanna say great job so far. I needed some insight on HOS matchups. However I was just wondering on how HOS should manage his Charge meter vs [insert character]. I mean who should he be using lvl.1 moves against and which ones? I know GunBlaze lv.1 is staple but what else? recently I played a testy player who likes to do ALOT of f-ing webs, with the new charge keep feature I was thinking I might lv.1 BHB cuz its hitbox is so HUGE that it can be used as an Anti-Air but I remebered EXE beast.... Requests: Axl, Baiken, Potemkin, Slayer,Zappa,ABA.
  3. I just wanna say the damage that badguy gets off of Tyrant rave(FB version) on air hit or CH is amazing. I think when people start to SB fafnir TR their asses. Plus in the corner Sol doesn't need CL on fafnir just follow up with TR and blam! COMBO!!! I like semi-new Badguy.
  4. I case no one knew HOS can combo into lv3 BRP from CH 2S,CH 5S and 5S far on CH. Good follow ups?
  5. No homo but I love /\Core Hos. He gains meter so fast! Plus his forcebreak is badass... Now that that's out...I'm having some trouble comboing after j.D. Any tips??? BTW I was trying to do the Rock It lvl2 RC combo.

  7. Alas I must admit I too have mixed feelingd about /\Core HOS. It's the BHB. I didn't use it much in slash and I don't see myself using much of it in Accent Core outside of lvl.1 I get that Ishi doesn't want a broken HOS but lvl.3 down from 7 hits to 4? And even less range on a lvl.1 BHB? No KD on lvl.2 BRP? I wish HOS had a new move that gave him more mixup... no wild throw proto?? FB: air Bandit Bringer proto?? Anyways..hooray for charge keep! Haha! Now I end many a combo with lvl.1 moves to my hearts content! And DI Sakkai... if only I could combo after the last hit...oh what glorious suffering HOS could bring on many an opponent. And 5HS being 1 hit only helps me out. Even on normal block the CPU can block the 1st hit and punish HOS before the 2nd hit. Currently working SB into FB Fafnir.

  10. I use for kicks/on the last sliver of life cuz I'm like WTF do I gotta lose if Sol's near death anyway plus his tension goes up which is good for Fding. Also it scares the crap out of scrubs. But mostly I just leave it alone. I find that it kills Sol's options cuz he has to act fast. So just leave DI alone...

Cuz HOS needed exactly 300% charge to execute Dragon Install so cuz HOS in /\Core his guage drains slowly so he can't maintain 300%(AFAIK), I admit I have never seen how fast the meter drains cuz NO ONE WILL POST IT. So Titanium, you say it's the same as before huh? I saw your vid against Caveman. I saw you land Dragon Install. So if the meter drains it means that HOS has X amount of time to execute dragon install.
  12. Excellent!!! Just what I was looking for. Might have to change up the combos once we get the console version.... I think HOS can do more dmg than that like the first combo. We could omit the the 5K... I also wonder if the j.P is needed? And the 2nd combo: It's like the 5Sc jc j.S,j.HS combo you posted for /HOS. Makes me wonder if the combo can be done off CH 2S??? As for DI NO ONE POSTED the tension/charge meter requirements for it! The charge meter drains now so how much meter is needed?

  14. Question: Stagger ...I suck at getting out of stagger. Is the input 4 6 only or can I just shake in whatever direction? Let's say I-no does Stroke the Big Tree, it's causes stagger then she does her OD. Can I mash out stagger DURING super freeze?

  17. So Sidewinder on CH is a clean hit.... SSSOOOOOOOO....if Fafnir lands a CH will it gained the properties of a clean hit like Sidewinder???? And....if Fafnir lands a regular hit does it still have its wallbounce properties like /fafnir?? And what if Sol lands Grand Viper CH, like I-no does HCL in the air and Sol Grand Vipahs and lands a CH but because I-no's in the air Sol can't mash Grand Viper will he get a Clean Hit on CH with GV???

  19. Speaking of which where is the color report for Sol? All I've seen is Granpa Sol(white hair), Sol Blackguy,Sol with K colors from X2, and Army Sol... And I've never seen his other colors either! BTW who uses Army Sol, not one of his best colors imo... Bloodcrave, your cool. Sol with white hair is one of my favorite colors of Badguy.Straight from GGX baby! Umm...where's the link??????
  20. That's what I thought. I think it isn't necessary but it would be a nice trick for HOS to have up his sleeve... To be able to do 5S>2D>Lvl.1SF and still be at lv.2/3. Besides, no one ever mentioned how good the damage is off of an 5S,2D, lv.1Sf is. Makes for one good 50% tension corner combo:eng101: Anyway,few questions: 1.In the Tougeki Dameshii(can't recall how to spell it right) combo vid, HOS jumped and air dashed in between ground normals one combo. Cuz of the new CC system this is possible? Cuz I've never seen anyone do this in Slash... 2.Do any of you think that people will start to hate on HOS like they hate on Sol? Many people state how much of a pain in the ass Sol is...hate for Proto-Badguy coming soon? 3.BHB...no more FRCs, I don't see many players use BHB anymore(but then again I only saw bout 2/3players),BHB was a decent for pressure and a way to get in like GF FRC. Does BHB w/less range and hits still provide HOS with a way in? Or is BHB just a keep away tool now?
  21. OK, I understand the generations thing. Anyways: Kinda stupid question..... Since Hos can keep D down and do a lvl.1 move while on lv.2/3, can he do a lvl.1 OD while on lv.2/3?
  22. I thought GG mode only affected the overall game mechanics. I heard about GG GGX and GG/\Core but I thought that was for how you want the game to play like when Chipp does Zansei Rouga you can FD it in / even when Chipp attacks from the back whereas in GG you'll get hit when Chipp goes behind you. How can there be a GG mode HOS? Can you give me more info on Generations?
  23. Seriously!!! How does Dragon Install work? I mean the charge lvl and tension% people, I already know the command.... When I saw the /\Core trailer I saw HOS do Sol's old IK All Guns Blazing. This is interesting cuz HOS didn't have an IK listed on the /\Core site.(Unless it was EX HOS??!!!) HOS's D color is looking quite good.....hmmm
  24. Asked in the combo thread but no one answered it...so I'll ask here: How do you delay 6P? Can it be delayed in /\Core? Does anyone have any info on how Sol can "combo" into Napalm Death? can you buffer FB fafnir?
  25. Noted I was on youtube watching Sol's new 100% tension DI..... What a complete waste of shit that move is. It is 100% useless. So now Ky, Johnny, Venom, Axl can beat the crap out of Sol while his life goes down, so he dies even faster. Thanks Arc. Couldn't come up with something USEFUL now could ya?Maybe an air Wild Throw or being able turn off DI manually and DI slowly draining tension while regenerating Sol's life or Sol ACing DI moves for extra seconds added to DI or giving the flames a hit box...god DI just becomes more and more useless with every passing game. First dmg reduced, timer decrease, now a DI that drains life. How the hell does this new DI help Sol at all? Or an untechable Tyrant Rave? MORE IMPORTANTLY: I saw Sol do 6P on Ky they froze then Sol did Naplam Death on Ky. This is what people were talking about with being able to "combo" into IKs before /\Core came out? Looks interesting... I'm all for the BB loop on Potemkin. Pot is one of my worst matchups. I hate fighting Pot with Sol with all the damn invincibility Pot has and an air Potemkin Buster too, bout time Pot had something to fear form Sol
