Quick question: Is it a good idea to do Grand Viper after landing BB(non CH)? I just been to the /\Core main site and saw the trailers. In which Sol did GF FRC BB Grand Viper>Combo. Check It. Its in the gg room if you missed it...

MAS is good but heavy, so that's a no. Don't feel like carrying an XBOX... I don't mash..ever. Happ you said isn't good for wiggling? So, not good for stagger in GG/VF? You said to try out other peoples sticks but no one I know has a stick cuz Miramar seems filled with casual players or mallrats(power gay), so I can go to Flippers for practice. They have Capcom vs SNK 2, Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Tekken 4. But how do I know what parts they are using? You said that you use Happ lately for rolling motions, that means 236s and 214s? Sanwa is good for diagnols(great cuz that's what hurts me the most with Kyo in KOF) Few questions: What is restoring force? (feel real stupid for asking this)How does a stick hook up to a PS2?

Lately I've been thinking about picking up a stick myself cuz of Tekken 5 and VF4 Evo and soon Tekkken 6 and VF 5 and DOA4. But I have the most trouble in picking a stick. I just read all 22pgs(yeah,yeah.I'm a loser..go f--k yourself) in the zepp museum on "Post your arcade stick". I liked what I saw but I know not a damn thing about what stick to buy or how to customize my own stick. Right know I'm on yahoo looking up sticks and I keep seeing the MAS Pro Arcade stick. I used to play analog then switch to pad (I couldn't run after GF FRC)so what stick should I start with? Where can I learn about customizing sticks? Cuz the Sols are my mains and I sure as hell want a Sol/HOS arcade stick. My limit is about $250. I need a excellent stick. I read that some people customized their stick with Sawna parts??? Help me out here!

After seeing some Accent Core vids(and seeing Chipp kill Slayer) I'm, no matter what, staying with Zanuff in Accent Core! I love that air alpha blade can be FRC. The FRC on alpha plus has caught my attention as well. And Chipp got his all black, red blade colors back! Good info Kasou, lol I've been spamming dust lately.

Bloodcrave said the Fafnir on air opponents is a clean hit... my crazy thought is FB Fafnir as an anti-air??? Might open up some options besides 5K,2HS, and Volcanic Viper... And what about the hit-box? Any changes?

LM_Akira.....you're my hero,lol. That's what I'm taking about! Great posts! BTW, is it better to CC a normal then do a special? So HOS can gain a bit more meter so that it's easier to maintain the charge meter? We all know that it's not safe to do BHB after 5HS in /.....Or is it safe in ^C cuz of the change in BHB and 5HS?

:sosad: I can't watch youtube cuz I'm in school!!!!!!! NOOOOOO!!! On topic: Ok so if HOS can CC on block he can use CC as a safe guard possibly. Which means if he CCs on block the enemy might be forced to back away to get out of CBurst range?? Which means in turn HOS can use CC on block AND possibly land a CH??? God, my brain just crashed, this CANNOT be possible, cuz if it is that will be omega badass...

Thanks for posts on the buttons configs guys...I like the setups but I'm not exactly sure which one to use,love the arcadey feel though. A few minutes ago ,while reading the Stupid Gameplay threads I found the site on GGXX/GGX2 Web Encyclopedia which is kinda old, I noticed that a good amount of the combos aren't listed on dustloop( I'm not complaining) but I wanted to know if the combos listed in the Web Encyclopedia should be used to "break" into a character's playstyle if your skills aren't that good i.e. scrub level.

Huh? Roman Cancel GF Feint? Roman Cancel? Madness! I heard that in ^C tension gain is fast....so Sol's GF Feint gains tension so GF Feint abuse! BTW in close range should Sol opt for a GF Feint instead of GF? And since the hit box is at his leg can it hit low like Johnny's S-Mist Finer? Happy birthday Titanium Beast.

Regarding HOS's ability to CC his normals: Can he CC his normals even if they whiff or are blocked? Cuz if he can HOS players might be able to abuse CC...... CC BURST!

Thx. TITIANIUM BEAST... But what about GF Feint having a hitbox at his leg, what does that mean? Its an attck or Sol can only get hit when doing GFF at his leg?

The badass Rock It: Faster startup: I love that. But I have a concern about Rock It. / Rock It can be out poked not to mention hit with 5D. Is this true also with ^C Rock It? And BHB having less range and less hits....I understand that this could be because of the new charge system. So does this mean that BHB is worse than / BHB? Cuz when I saw Kaqn fight Shadow I saw a lvl.1 BHB and that shit was f-ing HUGE. Reminded me of Sol's FB Fafnir > Tyrant Rave.

HOS's 5HS does 1 hit only... Is this good or bad? Cuz the cpu in / would stop blocking after the 1st hit of 5HS and then attck like Johnny doing a 632146>HS....ouch

Last month I was playing w/#Reload Sol trying to do the dustloop, and I noticed there is a difference with the knockdown after VV but I can't say exactly what it is. So what is the difference between the / KD after VV and the #Reload KD?

Sorry for not researching the thread enuff G.Blood. But, do mind another stupid question: Controller layout I use a PS2 contoller and recently bought a new one. I noticed that the black PS2 contoller requires less precision that the blue one( I play analog) My layout is: square:P triangle:S circle:HS x:K r1:DUST r2:PKS(RC AND FRC) l1:TAUNT l2:PKSHS I found that r2 is safer than using l1 cuz l1 affects your inputs. What is the best layout of a PS2 controller? This is quite important cuz this affects my IADs SJs FRCs and RCs...

How do you land a Clean Hit fafnir? CH? Or on a standing opponent? And what about the Riot Stomp CH? What happens? Man, I'm completely out of it.... Vid links people, I NEED VID LINKS!!!!

I keep seeing things like 5HS xx 2D. What does the "xx" mean? Pause? And also IIRC? What does that mean?

Quick question: Clean Hit Grand Viper Every vid I saw Grand Viper get a clean hit in always had Grand viper done by itself. My question is: Can you do S>HS>Grand Viper and get a clean hit or do you have to do Grand Viper by itself?

Is doing a super jump like the dust homing jump? I suspect them to be the same but I need clarification......

So..does anyone now if there have been changes to how the game reads inputs now like Wild Throw? Cuz I can't do fucking Wild Throw in Slash on less I'm on P2 side which means I can't do a damn running Wild Throw like in #Reload.

No,no, NOOOOOOOOO!!!! Damn it! I just started picking up Chipp and he might be screwed in Accent Core??!! All that combo training, RC training, FRC training and fucking ARC screws Chipp!!! J.D has groundslide? GROUNDSLIDE??!! what the fuck is that ARC? what the fuck? How about you give Chipp a NEW move that causes friggin groundslide? Look at what Kiske got: fucking 3 more moves! Not even Sol got that! Jeez his FB is....digusting:vbang: and friggin uncreative. Hell, it would have been better if they gave him 2 FBs: an air Gamma blade,much faster than reg. Gamma Blade, and a ground FB that looks like his leaf jump but can be aimed like k=high,S=mid,P=low with NO sign that he did a FB but a lost of 25% tension. Plus Chipp is a SHINOBI, why doesn't he have explosive shurikens that are like Axl's explosive grab but able to be TKed, launched on the ground and mixed up with his shuriken?(New move ARC! Pay attention!) Jeez, its gonna a tough time for the last ninja in all of Japan.....(Praying for Chipp)

Still a new Zanuff player: When doing 2D entering 236+D causes Chipp to do his Dust teleport. Is this any good for anything? Like whiffed or blocked 2Ds?

Dragon Install: the lazy man answer to being on the brink of death? Just wish that they left the time alone though. Less than 7 secs?! Dmg reduced is understandable but WTF is up with him losing ALL the tension on knockdown? He couldn't keep 25%? Jeez. Besides Dragon Install robs whatever defense Sol needs(its pure uber rushdown use only). DI Gunflame is just as slow on startup as reg gunflame and a whiffed Volcanic Viper leads straight into a free Sol rape session anyway. And why is only Gunflame, Bandit Revolver and Volcanic Viper got upgraded? I quit using Dragon Install. I used to only use it against CPU and jackass scrups cuz they freaked the fuck out. Its all "HOLY SHIT! NOT DRAGON INSTALL!" Dumbasses never caught on. Anyway....been practicing Gunflame FRC combos without Bandit Bringer. Sol still kicks ass! And the fact that Bandit Bringer has ground slide is great cuz it sends them into the corner! Exactly what I wanted! Plus Sidewinder combos are more damaging! Clean Hit Grand Viper is beast! Now people will fear the awesome Grand Viper! Clean Hit rocks Guilty Gear.

So, for Johnny's KH the correct input is: K then 8 upon hit or block then H? So that after the H I can jump cancel? But I have to press H after 8 fast enuff so I don't jump after K to enable the jump install right? Can you air jump install?
