I always wondered about that. Why doesn't Sol's GF get SBed? Granted I personally use GF on oki so they can't SB it on wake up and run under GF FRC cover... So I take it's because Sol doesn't use GF as heavily as Testament uses EXE beat or KY uses SE?

The priority thing to me is too hard to nail. There's too many variables. Pushback, IB, FD, standard guard, blockstrings, attack levels, range etc. One odd thing that has me confused somewhat is Slayer's 6P and 2S. I've had crouching moves lose to them both. I use the SB vs webs here and there. It's an experiment for me.

Oki is in short some offensive action to pressure/mixup your opponent while they get up. I want to know about this "no priority" thing too. Doesn't make sense. Your friend is lying to you. FD negates damage to your life bar at the cost of tension and increased blockstun. Whatever the attack. If your friend doubts it go into training mode 100% tension. Life on no regain. You do FD and he does an OD. See what happens. I got a question: I was having a discussion a while back with Hideki in the Sol vs Testament thread. I said that one of the members here posted that you can use SB to activate Testy's webs since SB increases your hitbox like FD. Hideki replied that's the worst idea he ever heard. Sol doesn't really need to..kills momentum etc. He said Robo-Ky has much more invincibility on his SB. So that means SB isn't created equal then? Who else has a better/worse SB? Does it even go into FD and IBing?

Jacky's my main. I'm not too worried. AM2 has been doing great balance for quite some time now. So if there's one company I have faith in with balance it's them. I'm happy there's a VF5:R but I'm not hyped unless there's a PS3 port like with VF4:FT. I really want to play Jean. Gimme some time. I'll find some vids.

I can't believe there's a best SB. I thought SB was kinda equal like FD. I didn't think there was a difference like DAAs.

About Testament's webs.... Doing SB will trigger the web and you'll get a free SB and beat the web. My question is: Is it better to SB his webs or trigger them with a fast air poke?

OMG.... who doesn't jump over a non FRCed GF?! Because what you said is exactly what I said! Oh wait... it's not. SInce especially GG isn't just about air combat right? And what option can Venom use if he's in Sol's airthrow range? NONE. Ball summon? No. Mad Struggle? No. Aerial normals? No. TK Mad Struggle? No. If Venom is in Sol's air throw range Sol gets a free knockdown. If Venom is not in Sol's air throw range he's safer. You think just because it's Sol and have some assumed mentality of Sol players that the air is free? Sol's 5K AA's Venom pretty well too like Venom's 6P AAs Sol's pretty well. And Venom isn't as strong as Sol in the air. Sure FB Mad Struggle might beat his air normals if he's predictable or can't FD but that's assuming too much. Venom's j.D is good in the air but Sol is better in the air and Sol has great AA options. I would say better than Venom's AA options. If Venom is in the air vs Sol(on the ground) he should be: -Moving under the cover of a ball formation. An obvious staple in Venom's playstyle. -Mixup with TK Mad struggle. -Aerial retreat(IAD back) -Avoiding GF(FRC). -IAD punishing GF non FRC.
