Show them your spirit ! -
Looking at just the first couple of those combos, i have to say i didn't realize air super crash in the corner gave such good Oki. Looks like you could meaty anything you wanted there.

I rarely spend meter on my corner throw combos, but i definitely want to give that one you mentioned a try, Shinigami. 5HS>Tatami FRC sounds awesome. Must try that next time i get the chance in a match!

I will be there tonight, rar ! -
Keep in mind that 3C is low to the ground. Odds are if someone jumps in and you react with a 3C, it will allow the opponent to whiff, land and block without getting hit (just like a safe jump). And then potentially punish Bang during recovery. A safe jump is a jump in that whiffs on invincible moves and allows you to land to skip the recovery of your air attack. Unless this is used on a move that has landing recovery it's not going to work out. What this will allow, though, is for it to low profile more attacks. Which is exactly what 3C needed.

for your 2K to work there you just need to dash in first and the 5S would've connected after. Dash in 2K>5S>j.S>j.D and if possible, AD>j.S>j.D will work on a very great majority of the cast, it's just on some heavy characters you won't be able to land the second part, and there are sometimes other variations that are better on a per character basis. This is what i do when im not sure about character specifics, though. The Baiken guide already covers this: EDIT: in round 2 i noticed you spent 25 meter twice in a row to FRC your tatami midscreen, only to do j.P immediately after. This is something you need to stop doing as mentioned in previous videos. If you want to spend meter for extra damage, don't start with j.P in the air. in general, you can do (in order of optimization) 236K FRC, j.SD 236K FRC, j.SPSD (if it works on the character you are facing) 236K FRC, j.SD FRC airdash j.SD 236K FRC, j.SD FRC corner carry airdash 236K (if it works on the character you are facing) Also.. in this case, you are fighting FAUST who you don't even need to do any of that against. Mid screen the best thing you can do against Faust is just XX>c.5S>2D>j.D for great damage and Oki meterless. You can even FRC that j.D and get some corner carry but it's a bit tricky. EDIT2: I also noticed a few kire tatami attempts that didnt come out properly, don't give up and keep practicing it ! You'll get it soon.

the 10pm thing did not stick. They changed it again. Foonzo is open until AT LEAST 11 each day that it's open at all. As for the later times, im not 100% sure, the information was relayed to me a bit too casually so im not sure how official it is. But forget about the 10pm thing for sure. -

I'll be there thursday, and what overheat said is true, you can replace your 1P with your 4P or 4K in a worst case scenario -
Thanks for putting those vids together Murder by death! It's always good to have something to refer people to when trying to explain stuff.

a package has arrived at my home. It might be arcade parts. (this is relevant to Bibi, Blade and Kunaki) -
That's a great suggestion Tong, something for me to practice as well !

The best place to start is near corner: 5P or 2K > c.5S > 2D > 236K (FRC) > sj.S > j.D, airdash, j.S > j.D and collect your knockdown. For midscreen, try to focus on meterless combos that get you knockdown so you can use that meter closer to the corner. 5P or 2K > c.5S > 2D > 236K > sj.S > j.D, then setup okizeme with a iad tatami or a kire tatami if they are too close. Just focus on getting that done and solid in your mind before going on to anything else. You are using so much j.P unnecessarily. Once you can get those down 100% against Sol, try this in the corner: 5P or 2K > c.5S > 2D > 236K (FRC) > sj.SD, airdash, j.SD (FRC), j.236K, land, j.SD, airdash, j.SD Fujiwara has a video of what the dustloop looks like in the youzansen combo he posted a few pages back, i will quote it so you have a visual reference. Just ignore the Youzansen and Tatami in the beginning.

wouldn't a round trip be 360? :3 -
It makes me very happy to help ! I may move some of these question and answers over to the Q&A thread for easier reference and so it doesn't get lost in whatever else pops into General. If anyone has trouble finding a post that used to be here, try checking in that thread !

Without FRC, you cannot cancel the mat. You have to just keep practicing the timing. Superjump helps you get higher in the air faster, but it also makes the timing tighter. This is just one of those things that only takes practice. Remember that the timing is a bit different for every character, and completely impossible on bridget and baiken. The guide DOES have characters broken down by weight, though, to help you figure out how to lump them together for your combo timings. For her abare, like i said, your best bet is to learn to land f.S -> j.D on standing opponents. Then you can FRC and AD tatami or just collect your knockdown. If they are crouching, you can combo her 2S -> tatami. This is her most consistent abare but it requires some time to learn and hitconfirm it. try the following in training a bit, against Sol or Slayer or Testament: 2S -> f.S -> j.D If you want to hit with that j.D consistently, i would suggest learning to wait for the hitstop of the f.S before trying to jump cancel it, that way your timing will always be the same. If you try to buffer the jump you will need to be very good with visual cues to know when to hit D. Try both ways ! The best part is that the j.D will count as an overhead. If they were standing when blocking f.S, the j.D will hit them if they tried to crouch. What you'd call a fuzzy guard. Try the following on a crouching character: f.S -> 2S -> 236K these are her best abare pokes and you will notice f.S and 2S can gatling into one another infinitely until one of them whiffs. Be careful since whiffing one of them is punishable. Learn to get a feel for using this gatling and hit confirming it. It's one of those things that will definitely still be important later, but it's not exactly BnB. The guide has a list describing how well this works on each of the cast.
