  2. It does make sense that this guy is not Ren, because it's not his style of play in the slightest bit. Can't tell if it's Tetsu but I take your word for it.

  4. You guys should try 214B/A > RC > 2B, works wonder. There is a little gap but as you said people tend to block high. You can actually do throw > 214B > dash 5B instead going directly into Sekkajin to avoid that little damage loss.
  5. That kirk_combo if freaking awsome. It's easy as hell to pull off and 5B pick up is surprisingly easy on this. Even if you should mess up and go for 5A it's still more damaging than the other 5C / 5B variant. @Moy - If you need any help, lemme know.

  7. Yah, I should've probably explained this. I asked Moy directly because he knew what I was talking about but since you guys might be interested. Jin with his back in the corner: DP D(1st hit) > RC > dash under > 6C > DC > 214A > adjust 5C/2C > 6C > DC or delay > 623B > 6C > 623C > 5B > 5C > 2C > 623C = 4k / 4.2k damage Lookie if anyone can come up with a better combo, this requires 75 heat after all so better convert every single heat into as much damage as possible.
  8. Are you talking about the first or second hit of DP D? If it really is the first hit the combo won't work because you threw in a j.D in there and the freeze is already taken with the DP.
  9. Oh wow. Ehh, you guys should stop posting these hit-box related stuff unless you want to make us(me) sad. Though I'd like to see how j.B looks like when it hits in front and below. @Moy - Did you ever test max damage off DP D(1st hit) > RC > stuff? I go for the 6C > 214A route which nets... 4.2k with 2C / 5B pick up 4k 5C / 5B 3.9k 5C / 5A 5C > 6C seems unstable. If you hit 5C too late 6C won't combo and if you do it too early 623B is going to whiff.

  11. Sorry for the short reply earlier, most of the stuff has been said anyway by now. Just one more thing to add as I also played one these guys. It's freaking hard to get in on Emjay but as you probably noticed, he burts as soon you get your momentum and get your stuff started so it can be easily baited. Doesn't help though that he's one of the better (if not the best) Lambda around EU. I need to look up for this guy again. Oh and don't go tellin' me you be maining Ragna.
  12. Speaking of which, what are you guys using for 2C fatal AA? I usually go for 2C > 66 5C > air dash > Sekkajin stuff because I'm too lazy to come up with something else. Does around 3.2k damage I think.
  13. @Moy - I~ didn't say it was good :D Thus I only use IAD j.2C after 214A corner shenanigans which works surprisingly well. Ah yeah... CS Jin. Too bad I only started to bloom when CS2 was already there. Wish I could've enjoyed them 3Cs for a bit longer. Besides 214A ain't that bad. Gotta love 214A RC > j.2C/2B mix-up.
  14. Delay the j.B after IAD so that he turns around (there you have it) to his opponents face. Obviously you want to follow up with 5B and then either with Sekkajin or if they're crouching & in the corner 5C > 6C. Honestly his normals aren't that bad as you make them out to be. I did throw in CT, CS1 and CS2 only recently just for the hell of it and I gotta admit he'd be fucking overpowered if they were going to add 214A wallbounce and not nerfing anything else of his core game. The only thing I am mad about is his damage of Hiyoku.
  15. Because turn around makes you S tier. What. j.B / j.2C is about as easy as j.D to combo.
  16. Exactly, I'm just trying to understand his combo mechanic. It's about the same as Jin's air dash combo, either go with 5C > j.2C > j.D or 5C > 2C > j.D. The latter yields more damage yet I usually go with the former just because it feels easier. Anyway, delaying the initial j.B definitely helped. Guess it all comes down to practice now. I can finally see a potential sub here after trying so many.

  18. Why hello, my future Jins alias Haku-Men. I'm not sure where this is meant to be asked, since this is general discussion I go ahead and drop this here. I have that little bit of trouble doing this combo consistently, namely at the bolded part below. I just started to use Haku so I'm not too comfortable with his combos. 5C > Renka (1) > Kishuu, 2C > j.B > j.2A, AD j.B > j.A, 2C > j.B > j.2A, AD j.2A, j.C Is there some sort of a trick to it? I try to delay j.A so there's less of a gap between j.A > land > 2C. At times I feel like delaying the air dash makes it a little bit easier leaving me lower to the ground but I can't put my finger on what I fail here.

  23. You have to delay DP B and hit 2C as low as possible.
