Everything updated. I was hoping erushi would wreck that Ragna player so we get to see more of him, but no...

New barrier indeed seems to have rather large pushback. In the latest Rachel vs Ragna match, erushi did point blank 5B > 2B > 5B against his barrier-guarding opponent, and the 2nd 5B whiffed. Think in CS2 it would've connected still, or am I wrong? Better get used to starting pressure with 5A :9

I'm also having this autopilot problem most of the time. I think it's better to not try to focus on what you should be doing (in the sense of, following a flowchart), but to instead to look at the opponents movement/actions, and then react accordingly. Like, don't just IABD, summon your stuff, then do your zoning flowchart. It creates a lot of bad habits imo. Try to play more of those matchups where you have to play a reactionary style (Lambda, Carl, Tager for example) and try to focus on not doing anything without a purpose. Why do you throw certain lobelias? Do you want to set up a trap? Or do you want to catch them in the air? They should always have a purpose (currently mine don't always have one ). Also, always try to be in your opponents head. Try to think of what you would be doing if you were in his position, then anticipate it. This is also my main problem. I'm too busy with myself and don't see what my opponent is doing in the meantime. Your goal is to get to a point where you can do what you want with Rachel (anti-air etc) without looking at her, so you can focus on the enemy more (do I actually have to anti-air him?).

Don't think 6B has that much untechable time. More likely they will be able to emergency tech. Anyway 6B CH can be followed up midscreen without wind, I saw Ishii doing 6B CH > run up 5B (pretty much max range) > aircombo. Also I don't see why 6B shouldn't work in a combo like max range 6BD > 3C anymore. Guess it's just not very common. TD- Afaik 5CC doesn't take a primer anymore and 6B has more recovery ;(

The damage difference is way less than I would've imagined. I mean, frog and BBL have less damage, and her character combo rate got reduced, and it's only 400 less. I'm happy now.

Get used to it one by one. First only do j.C 2D, and jump 2D dj. Once you're comfortable with both, try putting them together to j.C > 2D > djc. Then finally do the whole thing, j.C > 2D > djc > (delayed) j.2C(Lv2). Some other tips: Try it on Tager first, his fat hitbox makes it way more lenient. Turn off airtech in the dummy options. If you get the Lv2 bounce from j.2C and the combo bluebeats, you know you did the 2D jc part right, and you only need to adjust the timing of j.2C (remember, it's not inputted instantly). Tager was always scary when he's in your head and got that magnetism on you, and the fact that the Tager player was Akira didn't help it. Also serori isn't quite the best Rachel player there is (I hate talking like this cause I know that I'm most likely worse lol). I'm curious to see vids of Kure Hane, Matsu and N-O. I'm confident those will keep playing her cause they did in CS1 :9
