Netplay tournament sounds fun

The tournament yesterday was really fun, glad to get to play with everyone again.

GGs to Shell, Aldreat, ThreeSidedDice and ElixirDaath. Some really awesome sets :d

I typically save my heat for RC mixups/combo extensions (like 2147D->RC->5C(xN)->6C->236D->214D©->Stuff in the corner, or Stuff->236B->RC->5DD->236C midscreen) and Legacy Edge for midscreen confirms to push them to the corner, and/or for pressure sometimes. I typically only use Calamity as an ender when I know it will kill when a typical Crescent ender will not.

That's an interesting strategy. We should play more often so I can hear this tactic for myself. Also to get out of this slump, just keep practicing. I know it's generic advice, but it really works lol

Think of it this way... The faster you ground Tao and send that naughty hooligan to the corner, the more enjoyable your time against her will be.

I'm surprised she wasn't classified as S tier earlier, to be honest. Great mixup, great neutral space control, great okizeme off of pretty much any confirm, huge damage in the corner off of her great mixup and okizeme. The only really glaring fault is that she doesn't have a meterless reversal, which makes her have to rely on barrier mechanics, counter assaults and instant blocks to get out of pressure properly. But her meter gain is pretty good so you're usually walking around with 50 heat or so to spare, anyway. Also her good matchups with some of the other S tier characters really help.

I also get 0 bars with some jp players but there's almost no delay on them either. And then I play someone with a 2 bar and they lag like crazy. :C It's really random sometimes.

Officially the coolest venue-boss ever. Also, playing Skullgirls before May NCI sounds like fun. Hopefully I won't be terrible at the game by the time the event happens :d

I typically go for 6A(CH)->214D->66->2DD->214A->2147D->6A->6C->236C->Stuff. Those combos sound really flashy though SWD. Gotta try them out :o

lol yeah the lag would probably be pretty bad. We could test it out tomorrow maybe, or I could wait two weeks and then I'll be in Cali so it'll probably be a bit closer to you.

Oh yeah, 5C airborne nets you like at least 5k. Forgot about that. What's the most damaging meterless combo off of a 5C(xN) airborne confirm? I typically go with something like this: 5C(xN)->6C->236D->214D©->236C->44->4B(2)->2DD->2147D(Not sure if the TK add-on works in this, pretty sure it does though)->66->6DD->2DD->j.c->j.DD->j.2DD->j.c->j.DD->j.2DD->j.214D for around 5k, but I get the feeling there's something better to be doing instead.

(And now I feel really unoriginal lol but that's ok) And will add that extra stuff to the combos, thanks. xD Edit: I think I did put the 2DD into that 4B->2DD thing I just forgot to type it in the post.
