  1. Bang maybe? He still retains his good mix-up and speed from cs1 but they have made his risk-reward much fairer. He doesn't get much midscreen, but he still shines in the corner .

  4. Jourdal just posted an announcement from aksys confirming the bbcs2 patch release date as some time in may for north America I believe. Check the bbcs news thread for more detail. Hopefully Europe will follow suit

  9. I don't know if this has been posted already, but the european Game website has announced a release date for CS2 on PSP in Europe, and has given a vague release time for the 3DS. Too be honest, everyone in CS2 seems like a decent to good character, even the 'top tiers' Makoto or Hazama lose a lot more in CS2 than say, Bang and Litchi did in CS (at least from what I saw). Personally, I think the reason why people are thinking that Bang isn't that good anymore is because they're using his ridiculous CS iteration as a comparison; which obviously makes his CS2 self seem pretty bad.

  13. Does Bang seem to have any decent follow-ups to his command grab midscreen, or is all his meter best saved for the corner?
  14. I'm just glad that he hasn't truly gone back to his CT level, I kind of enjoy some safe pressure. (and decent damage)

  16. Yeah, I think they may have overdone the proration on 5a and j.d a bit much, but with the right starters, he still gets respectable damage. Not to mention his corner carry is pretty good with the (5a)>5B>2B>6C>air dash>j.4C>j.623B combo.

  21. Wow, 5b, 2b, 6c, airdash, j4c, j623b, land, 5c, 6d, 623b> combo ender looks sooo damn cool.
  22. Have any high damage 5c fatal combos been found out yet? Because it seems like it isn't all to useful as of late.
  23. Combine the + frames from 5b and the instant block nerf, Bang's new pressure game seems like it'll be really sound once it gets properly figured out. Also, I think that Arcsys are trying to force us to be much more conservative when using nails to continue pressure now. By adding the 2b 5b gatling, like Dacid said, we might be able to use the forward momentum from the 2b to make up for the pushback on his normals now; and then mix up from 5b. Edit: also isn't 6a jump canceleable on block? Add that to its buffed speed and we have some quite nice options there as well.
  24. In regards to the pushback Bang's normals have now, the buffed recovery on 5a will come in very handy if you want stagger/dash back in to continue the blockstring, you might even catch people mashing. I'm still confused as to why many people haven't been using 2b 5b much yet though.
