  1. Bang - 5D - Floats on normal hit jD - P2 proration improved, now more useful in combos Various Shuriken Moves (even though they're really nails >w>) - Knocks opponent towards the ground on hit. However, the opponent gets knocked upwards if hit by rising D nails. C Shuriken - P2 proration weakened, hold time increased Fucking lol, Dnails are now officially useless. GGs CS2+ Bang. Still maining your low tier ass you manly motherfucker.

  3. As if he needed any more nerfing, I mean, his nerf list is now bigger than his buffs. And his biggest buff is arguably the top tiers getting nerfed. It's a sad, sad day. Just out of interest, what will the c nail buff mean practically apart from a bit more damage? This is like capcom nerfing El Fuerte from SSFIV to AE.
  4. If the j2c thing means that it's cancelable on block again in addition to in the air, then Rachel is looking pretty CT there. Me likey Actually, it probably means that she can do the lvl 2 j2c trick with 236a. Maybe?

  9. 2c should be a 3 frame fully invuln reversal that FCs and is jump cancelable on both hit and block. MAKE IT HAPPEN ARCSYS
  10. Yeah, i'm gonna get Arcana as soon as I get back from Turkey on saturday. Gonna dedicate some time to learn Scharl (love the psychos) and Weiss, plus it's a completely new game for me, so i'm sure it'll live up to it's rad reviews. Looking forward to having some games with you soon, maybe by then i will have gotten a bit more proficient with stick. =/
  11. Believe you me good sir, once you learn Rachel, you'll learn that she is one of the most versatile characters in the game. Her rushdown is scary as once you figure it out and wind management isn't that bad once you get the hang of it, heck her new regen rate means that you get most of it back after 1 knockdown in the corner. Oh, and did I mention that her corner lockdown game is the most satisfying thing to pull off in this game? It's easily on par with learning FRKZ. Come to think about it, I could really, REALLY do with some Hazama experience seeing as I have 0 matchup exp against the fellow, and I'm totally free to him. Plus, you seem like a nice guy, would you care to add me on XBL for some matches in the future? I'll be around from this sunday onwards so just flip me a friend request.
  12. Go ahead and put time into learning her properly bro, one of the most worthwhile and fun characters ever for me. Plus, she has a special place in my heart because she's posh, pseudo-british and doesn't afraid of anything. AAAAANNND Nago is possibly the funniest thing to happen to fighting games, I love that cat. We need more Rachel players anyway, she doesn't get the global love she deserves.
  13. Yang's hair instantly places him above Yun in every aspect. Just sayin'.
  14. Yang is far cooler than Yun, therefore Huey is Yang.
  15. But, the barrier buff is also a double edged sword for Bang. As I mentioned before, if he retains the pushback on his normals on block that he has in CS2, the barrier buff could severely harm Bang's pressure game as well.
  16. Does anyone know the japanese opinion on CS2+ Rachel so far? Is she still solid etc. Thanks in advance.
  17. My god that would be so amazing. Or if we had his unlimited form command grab (delicious 4 seals with each one), and teleports/fullscreen heavenly phoenix. I would be content with the supposed awful proration on his command grabs if they gave us 4 seals, but it would be so broke.
  18. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE I played in CS1 teched backwards into meaty A lobelia after i knocked them down in the corner, it was like free damage. I had a shot every time someone did it.
  19. I'm not liking the sound of those. Command grab seemed to me to be our one really reliable way of getting good damage in the corner, but I suppose we got 7k off it for 50 heat, but still it seems a bit silly wrecking it's p1 value, it doesn't exactly do much damage raw; it may just be used mainly for tech traps if this stands. Slower J.d and weird J.4c could hurt FRKZ combos (as if that needed anymore nerfing), and it looks like they're trying their damn hardest to get rid of relaunch combos. But I digress, it's mid loke, most of this stuff will probably be changed for the final product.
  20. Does anyone know if there's been anymore recent changes to Bang? Seems as though all is a bit quiet about him.
  21. Also, I haven't tested this fully yet but if you see Bang guardpoint one of your moves, you may be able to cancel into cat chair based on whether or not he teles close enough to hit you or decides to follow through with the drive without the teleport for a CH and nice big combo.
  22. That would be amazing, it would be great if she did Eddie's smarmy little chuckle afterwards. Hew astral needs to involve Nago ball. Maybe a spirit bomb-esque thing? Yeah, that sounds cool.
  23. Is nago ball a move for which a fully detailed sprite was created, yet the actual move was never implemented? If so, god I hope they add this fucker into the next BB, shit looks so cash. Question is, how would it work, what would it do? I'll tell you friends, two words. Space Hopper.

  25. Is it bad that I half expected Arcsys to go ape-shit on Rachel a'la CS1 in these loketests? Meh, I like the way they're going with her so far, I can deal with Cat Chair doing less damage if it becomes more reliable as a reversal, I mean, she seems to be getting a ton of new ways to get good damage anyhoo so there's nothing really to cry about there. Loss of the j.236a lvl 3 trick makes me kinda sad, mainly because it looked awesome and I loved pulling it off. J.2c not being cancelable at all on block seems a bit weird, but i suppose being able to special cancel it in the air totally makes up for that. CT oki here we go! Anyone elses thoughts on changes so far and what they would like to see Rachel get in the future? *cough720cough*
