Last time I checked, bang had above average health, so I guess that makes Kliff ok then?

New 6b is so godlike against Tager, its funny how he spends so long to get in only to get blasted all the way across the screen again Out of interest is there any practical way to follow up 6b CH midscreen for good damage? -

Grrrrr, don't you just hate it when a guy you've played a good many times only posts the videos of the one or two time he wins, rather than you winning most of the set as well. /Rage -

With 6.0 comes a fresh new start, well done fellow rachel mains, for sticking with her through the mire of CS. -
Right, after playing a set of games against Hexa's Noel today and getting my arse utterly handed to me; I think I have some info to share with you wonderful people. Let's start positive. As always, Rachel can carry Noel to the corner relatively easily once she gets a hit in, leading to the set ups of those deadly little corner traps. Personally, I think that this is the most important aspect of the match, getting DAT knockdown in the corner; use excess wind if you have to. I say this because it seems as though Noel does not have a safe, reliable way out of pressure without 50 heat; which could lead to potential resets if she tries something dumb. Even midscreen, basic 3c knockdown into pumpkin oki leaves you in a great position to take her further to the corner and mix her up like the tricksy little vampire you are. Like Polka said before, Noel still suffers from zoning (although I have been completely neglecting this tactic cos i'm stupid) so try and keep that woman out for as long as possible; Rachel's new wind regen should cover you well enough. Cat chair is great on drives and 6a stuffs jump-ins nicely. Onto the negatives, Noel's midscreen damage is absurd in this game and unfortunately we don't have the hitpoints to deal with too much of it. Quick drives like j.4d can lead to 4k-4.5k plus knockdown and it doesn't help that Noel has a super easy haida loop on us. Noel's stagger pressure scares me, the right frame traps can lead into her silly damage and wake-up game, once she has you afraid to push buttons, she's already won (I always tend to store 50 heat for a counter assault if necessary). With the IB nerf, learn what you can and can't punish so that you can teach that bitch a lesson for hurting her ladyship. Though zoning maybe a viable strategy, her new optic barrel, like Tae said, is now actually useful and I have had Hex bust many a cap up Rachel's dainty behind when I try to summon, shifting the momentum back to Noel. Finally, look out for the damned counter assault, that and j.4d are the bane of my existence, good use of it by a Noel player can turn the match around. The matchup is definitely difficult, it could be slightly in Noel's favour but I ain't too sure. Play smart, and don't do stupid things like me. Just my two cents from a set of games. I would welcome more experienced players making some corrections and so on.

Speaking of 6b, what kind of frame advantage does it leave you on hit without a counter? -

The way I find it easiest is to click 99 quickly as soon as the 6c hits the opponent, it works basically every time for me. Obviously on p2 side you would hit 77 but the principle remains the same. -

6d connects from 5c FC, I suppose someone's already found this out though? -

Sometimes I've found that, if you put too many hits into your combo before doing ashura, the opponent can tech out immediately after Bang hits them, leaving him posing and vulnerable to whatever they would like to do. I don't know if this is a bug or not but it's really quite annoying. -
J.4c loops are still somewhat there, so that sort of counts; personally i think that the (5a) 5b, 2b, 2c forward dash 5c, 6d forward dash 2d into j.4c stuff looks damn cool. I'm also glad they made Ashura worth it to combo into now, as well as what you mentioned before; with his meterless corner stuff giving solid damage and oki most of the time. He looks so much fun at the moment.

Let's breathe some life into this thread again, seeing how BBCS2 is now only just around the corner, and Bang is no longer 'MASH DAT 5A TO WIN!' I say we think of a new witty subtitle for our character forum. Let's get those creative juices flowing! My suggestion: 'Low tier ninja hero' < old faithful just to start the ball rolling.

I know this may sound boring and generic, but learn how to instant block consistently, on a 2 and over connection there is almost no lag (at least for me) and so it should be fairly easy even online once you get the hang of it; i've also found that each character has a little rhythm which you can instant block to, it sounds stupid but it works for me. Also, go into training mode and set your opponent as the characters (or all the characters for that matter) you play against/encounter the most and learn their most frequent blockstrings to test which moves are punishable when. Finally, as mentioned in the other helpful posts before, barrier/reversals etc are all viable options for shifting momentum and striking back.

Damn Buppa, why so godlike? In other news, there's not enough Dora at the moment.

Thanks Zeth, i've been trying to do this combo for a while now even though i'm pretty much limited to shitty netplay (sucks because i have no way to play offline as all my mates are boring and like call of duty), and because i like to go FRKZ more than I should do, i've always wondered why it seems to whiff on some of the cast. Cheers again. PS:Are you looking forward to CS2 Bang, personally i think he seems incredibly fun.
