  1. Not so sure about that... I think that they put repat proration to Volante because you can throw 4 or 5 volantes in one combo and get 5K. That is just dumb. But if you only use it twice, i dont think that you loose too much dmg.
  2. I still think that you could combo 4 or 5 nirvana moves in a combo. 2 Volantes, j2.C allecan...8]D[, Juggle with j2.C-j.B and 2]D[, Juggle with j2.C-Allegreto ]8[D, Super.. etc
  3. Yeah... but with j.C you will send the rival to the ground, so the juggle will stop. Who think that Carl is going to be good char in cs2?... I just hope that he is higth tier like in Cs.
  4. No men, you can still do 2d loop, but with J.B instan of J.C. That mean it will be a little bit more harder and deal les dmg.
  5. Mmm, maybe j.C with knockdown isnt bad. Because now we can do stuff like this: For example some j2C juggle with 2]D[, volante, 8]D[, etc and in the end put j.C for knock down and use 3]D[ for force stanting and try to reset again. I justs hope that j2.C bounce will be the same as CS.
  6. Mmm... still don´t like the J2.C chage, why the hell they do that to Carl. If that happen, we will loose ours juggle hability and that suck. I hope that they revert J2.C as in CS in the final vercion.
  7. How J2.C can have potencial? seriusly... If that move knock down in the air, we will loose our j2.C 2]D[ combos. If J2.C knock down only when the rival is in the ground, we loose the ability to reset and doing crossup. Also with that J2.C we can´t do a combo after a 3C.

PEOPLE PEOPLE, Loke 5 Carl change: * 3C is back to CS version. + j2C knocks down. + Anima has armour, launches very high. + Volante has multi-hit armour for projectiles. + Cantata is quicker. + NEE-SAN~ moves faster (only during Cantata?). - Cantata uses up more NEE-SAN~ bar. Throw damage is 600. Throw > Fermata damage is 1700. * Volante has same move penalty. * Brio's knockback trajectory travels farther. * j.B is no longer a fatal counter * Overall damage has been drastically reduced. Discuss! now! XD. Just one question, how it is that now j.2C cause knock down? how is that supose to be a buff? if that happen, that mean that alle~can reset will get nerfed a lot. The same goes for performing combos with j.2C. Also, WTF? why we lost more overall damage? seriusly, Carl need to be able to hit hard.
  9. Hey... i just have this dumb idea for a reset. What if you do something like this: on CoN: 5B,2B,5C,IAD glide toss 2]D[. The idea is to be able to crossup the 2]D[ with the IAD, most people tend to think that with Carl you only do IAD with J.2C, so they will try to just block as normal people do and the Glide toss is if they try to mash out with a throw and be able to land quickly and do vivance A for combo. Just some weird idea that cross my mind... Maybe isnt so bad. If someone want i could try to record this, but i warn you it just an idea.
  10. Well... i tested it online with a Bang ( way more easy to do this on Bang that on ragna) and he ate it. The sad thing is that i made a mistake and i could´t be able to do some combo. But i think that this stuff is okay if you wanna have more tools in your reset side. My goal with Carl is being able to use multiples kind of reset and be able to do big dmg combos consistently. The reason for that is; i want ,for example, perform 2 reset and then go for a 5k or 6K combo. When that shit result in real matchs, Jesus Christ... is better than taking away the virginity from a schoolgirl XD.

  13. You know what? Carl need a new special move!.. Like Eddie Breack the law!, that would be awesome. Just imagine that Carl hide in his Hat and move while he control nirvana XD
  14. Hey.... Simple way to get at least 6K Dmg with one combo. Requiere 50 meter. C-O-N: 6B, 2]D[, J.2C Alle~can, 5C , 214]D[, J.2C Alle~can, 5C, 214]D[, J.2C Alle~can, JB, JC, 8]D[, J.2C, J.C, 2]D[, J.2C, 214C , 8 ]D[, (land) Gear super, 623]D[. This combo deal like 6056 Dmg, is a good way to get 6k without needing double clap and Fermata. If someone wants i could record this combo and upload to youtube. But this isnt a breaking new combo so i think that isnt necessary. I added that combo in the video secction, if someone wanna check.
  15. I was messing around with Nirvana 3]D[. Its a really good move, have neat uses for reset and preparing UB stuff. After trying stuff like : 5B, 2B, 6B, 6]D[, 6C, 5B, 2B, 5C, 3]D[, J.2C, J.B, J.C, 5A, 2A, 2B, 6B, 2]D[. Made me realize that now with the new J.2C bounce, performing that kind stuff will be imposible. I dont wanna lose that kind of setups...

  17. Wou Zong congrat!! dude, neat matches! it was really fun watching you on the stream while i was eating my sanwich xD. Just one random idea/sugerence, if you know that Tokido can block really well rhaposy stuff.. Maybe isnt too bad try to attemp a 6C full charge. Impresive matches men = ).
  18. Im having troubles with Jin.. that motherfucker keep jumping at me and ´playing with runnaway tactics. I hate when he spam throw at me, i never was good vs throw stuff.. Any quick tips how to deal with Jin in the air? keep it on the ground...
  19. Dude vs Haku..if you attemp to do a crossup with j.2c Alle~can try to delay a little bit more de j2c. Why? because if they mash D, it will fail and you will be able to land with the j2.c Alle~can. Also, some times when you are performing ground combos and attemp to reset, stop comboing and let nirvana do 2]D[. If they smash D, they will eat 2]D[ I know that this isnt much.. but i hope that can help you.
  20. Im not reffering like zappa, just like eddie xd. That you can hold back and make the shadow attack.
  21. What im trying to say.. that the way to control nirvana attack were like eddie in GG. With the release of the buttons, like Arakune with the bug. Not release + direccional. What im reffering to blocking with attacking is more like... for example you are with Barrier block, release some button and nirvana do 6D, and you kep barrier blocking. Like eddie. Will be great if you can hold back and make nirvana do 6D. Just saying, i know that never is going to happen xD
  22. Sometimes i feel that Carl should control nirvana attacks with negative edge... That way would be more precisly to control nirvana attacks and also be able to block when you try to make nirvana attack.
  23. We need Eddie drills! and 2HS! omg! hahha Talking seriusly, if we loose 3c that mean that also we loose our single Carls combos..... So now its posible that Carl alone can´t do great dmg.
  24. Mmmm..... But they are some chars that give you a lot of problems if you go Air to air. Jin and specially hakumen are really troublesomes air to air and ground to air. It seem that 6A isnt soo good vs Haku, 2C seem to work nice vs Jin.
  25. Yeah... funny thing if you do 4X volante stuff, you still get like 4.5 k. Maybe if WASNT fot the online delay, you could do this in some situacion.
