Dude, i really appreciate the work that you have done to inform us about CS 2 Carl changes. I’m really thankfully to you. Quick question, is Carl your main? If that so, what do you think about Carl in Cs2? Do you think that he is going to be a strong character? Also, can we still do Volante and 4]D[ combo? Anyway, thank for your support = )

Like you Zong i just want the damage, who read this: Carl Looks like quite a bunch of the good things he had received in the last loke test are actually gone. I couldn't confirm by myself for anima having super armor and 3D forcing standing but comments on the BBS strongly hints that they have been implemented. His damage is indeed sensibly weaker. For now I can't really think of any other way to get close to 4000 dmg except the old juggle combos ended by a super. And j2C doesn't bounces THAT much higher than before I think, although most ground strings involving j2C without allecan might not be possible anymore. All the stuff I translated before is I think valid, although 6A is really good but not almighty like one of my translations suggested. At least I got punished a few times for missing the timing. + 2B to 5B gatlings seems to be in from what I saw from another Carl player (forgot to try by myself) o jC : to clarify things a bit about this move, first it does only knockdown on air hit. Which means you can still use it as before for sandwich loops (well except it lost its gatlings to jB and j2C). Second, the opponent can emergency tech only, meaning that you can't combo the opponent when he is down. And third, the opponent doesn't falls really fast, in fact you can still use jC as before in 2D combos and when you land after finishing an air combo with it you are in the perfect timing for an okizeme if the opponent techs. o Fuoco : same as CS1 ie not guaranteed to come out if interrupted o Volante : same as CS1 ie no projectile armor + Brio : the move changed, blows the opponent far away and grants a small wallbounce if close enough to the wall. It's a pretty high wallbounce though, limiting the combo options to I believe something like high jump jB, jC - A vivace seems to have no invincibility at all What the... so Fuooco and Volante are the same? fuck. Also we CAN´T Link j2.c with J.B and J.C... And the new j.C dosnt look too good also. His damage is indeed sensibly weaker. Please that can´t be true....

Finally someone who understand me. Hell I like Carl how work in Cs, that way I don’t want to lose his reset and combo potential because weird changes like j.C knock down and j.B, j.C not being able to gattlig after a j2.C. I think that is a BIG nerf loosing the Jump loop and stuff like, J.2C, J.B, J.C, 5A,2A, 5B, 6B, 2]D[ Unblockeable. I don’t care too much losing some of the big combos, because im pretty sure that we are going to still be able to perform Combos that deal 5K, and that is ideal after a reset or unblockeable. I know that the new 3]D[ pickup sound awesome, im really hype for that change, but that also mean that now we are more Nirvana depent than before. Speaking with the truth, if one manages to connect 2 reset and then going for a big combo…. How many Nirvana gauge left you will have to try the 3]D[ pickup? Also, how many times you will be able to the 3]D[ pickcup until Nirvana runs out of life?, and the most important thing, with 3]D[ can you do good dmg? Especially now that you can´t do jump loop or j2.C, J.B, j,C, land, etc? Like you I don’t want to his reset potential to be lowered en CS2. I don’t think that he is ruined, but maybe he will not be as good like in CS. 3C is still teachable? Or just in counter is not teachable? Sad about the 3C change, it’s just dumb. I also like how they put more emphasis on Nirvana, like Eddie on GGAC in comparison to GGReload. It’s true that in the current system they can easily poke Nirvana, but if you think that more deeply at least Nirvana regenerate fast and also you can try to defend Nirvana, IAD j.B is scary XD. But I agree, the new changes to Nirvana moves are awesome. Well I still want to 8]D[ be just like in CS, fully unblockable. Hell removing 2 primer isn’t bad also, so its okey. Im still hype for see how Carl is going to be on CS 2, I hope that he become a broken SSS char XD. You know what thing will be cool? If Carl can do something like Eddie break the law, an example: Carl can hide in his hat and move in the floor being invulnerable for a short amount of time, and still able to controlling nirvana xD.

Mmmm.... I don´t think that 2d loop are useless. In fact they are like a corner stone for Carl. With 2D loop you can do great BNB stuff, going for this almost with any hit, that can lead good dmg because you can add Fermata or Gear Super. Also they are ideal if the rival dosn´t have too much health left. And they are very reliable, in comparition with other Carl combos, this are way more easy. I really think if Carlo loose his j.C links it going to be a pretty bad char. No more big combo, no more jumploop, no more j2.C-J.B--J.C.... 6B unblockleable... etc. Sad if this change stay, i was getting hype for Carl.

I was cheking the vid from the loke 2 ´´ Carl vs Jin `` And it looked that the old combos work well a deal like 4.8k. Maybe we can still do our thing in CS2.

Yeah dude, you are right. Arakune have 100% combo modifer. Why we can just keep our 90%? I hope that dosnt stay, its a dumb change.

Quick question. Now what char have the higthes combo rate? Also.. Zong, Tager in cs is 40%... so i dont think that is a good comparision in this case.

Why arksys why??? are you making Nirvana die faster? especially when Carl have low health an also Nirvana regen is slower.. Why!!!!!! Also i hope that they remove the knock down from j.C. With the new j.C, it mean tha we loose all of our jump loop variation and that suck.

Ouch, more scared now! I just hope that both of us are rigth and Nirvana dosnt die more easily. If that the case god help us, especially now that it recover more slower and Carl can´t do much when he is alone.

Why the ambient look like Carl will be doing shitty dmg? I need to be able to do at least 5k! go go go Carl! Scared as hell, especially now with Arakune seem to be strong and Lichi still will be a bad matchup for us.

Also now, after a j.B you can connect a j.C for knock down and try to do some reset if you are near to nirvana.

What mean 3c now? that we can still be able to perform 3C,IAD Alle~Can? or that the opponent can quick recover from that. Sad with J.B..... that move wasnt broken.
