  1. > Spend £13.99 on OSX Mountain Lion > New Wallpaper Well. It's Apple so it must be good!
  2. Haha, I'm a sucker for anything Mass Effect. Though this DLC was sublime, you can tell Bioware didn't let EA do shit to it.
  3. Lol it was fine for me. During the downtime I downloaded Mass Effect 3: Citadel + Installed a 2GB BF3 Patch in like 10 minutes.
  4. Mu's mixup is not as good as Noels. Stop this crazy man talk.
  5. With charge you can. It's not like you play the worst character in BB history with no options or damage mayn.
  6. When someone gets blown up by a rouge 6C and they lose like 70% because of it damn right you're gonna think that character is broke as hell. I've lost 8K from 6C FC Before and it wasn't even optimal. But if you actually look past that damage, You'll realise that you only ate that damage because you fucked up hard.
  7. This thread is looking hell'a SRK right now. Let's keep it going, there's a lot of quality input here. I know Bakahyl already covered Mu, but I'm gonna do it too. Mu: Mu is a rather strange character. She isn't limited to a singular playstyle and due to that can be played in almost any fashion. Her offensive and defensive capabilities are substantial, and her neutral game is quite possibly the strongest in the game. Due to this versatility, you're rarely going to see the same Mu twice. Pro's: + Enormous damage numbers on CH. Quite possibly the hardest punishes in the game. + An incredible set of normals. Her C Moves are arguably some of the best in the game (See the trend?) + She has a DP. A Good DP. + Strong AA Game into big damage + Her most commaon starters are fairly quick + Strong Oki game + Commands Neutral + Strong "Trap" Game + Amazing backdash + Her Aerial Pokes > Your aerial pokes Cons: - Low Health - Fairly poor mixup - C Moves are fairly easy to whiff punish (GG's missing 6C) - Uhm. Did I miss any Cons? I'd recommend Mu to anyone that like a hard hitting strong zoning character, People keep confusing zoning with keepaway. Mu is a strong zoning character, you cannot disrespect her space all whilst she controls yours. Her j.C / 5C and 2B all do a great job of keeping her real estate insured. Though as I said, for any good player, there really isn't a specific way to play Mu. It's all in the player.
  8. I lost it at Ragna having bad matchups. Include monstrous damage potential and beastly normals to that list bro! Tomorrow I'll cover some more characters. Specifically Mu.
  9. I tend not to burst in the first round no matter what. I personally feel like having 2 Bursts if advantageous no matter the outcome of the first round. If you won without bursting, your opponent is going to have a hard time, if you lose, you have a better chance to run back. Skye nailed it. I tend to use the "Oh shit burst" a lot.
  10. For the sake of boredom and desperation. I'm gonna give the lowdown on Bang. - Bang is essentially a calculated rushdown character with the capacity to look Yolo as fuck. He thrives on his impressive pressure and mixup game. He does above average damage and builds average heat. I'd recommend Bang for anyone that likes to have numerous tools to compliment their rushdown game. Pro's: + Strong Mixups, Access to quick highs and lows, plus a crossup that leads to stronk damage. + Nails. You can cover the ground, set air traps, combo with web nails or poison someone at the end of a combo + Bumpers. Whilst a gimmick, Bumpers can seriously supplement your mixups if used correctly. + Autoguard teleports. Make a good read? Get rewarded with big damage and the ability to teleport to safety (Or punish shit Spark bolts) + Great amount of health + Fairly easy execution to begin with. Basic reliable BnB's aren't difficult. Very easy to pick up. + Based command grab for 2K damage. + Very good distortion moves. + FRKZ is the most broken install in the game. Makes Bang essentially unblockable and the damage is off the charts. Con's: - Normals are nothing to shout about in the slightest - No strong Anti Air - No "Gtfo" Move without 50 Heat. - Just to emphasise. His defence is shocking. You need to stay #Yolo420BlazeitATTACK - Bang is just a solid choice. You have a lot of tools to work with all whilst keeping a degree of simplicity. I'd recommend him to anyone, in honesty. He's fun, deep and manly as hell. 5B is pretty much the "Go to" Button as it functions as his best "Anti Air" and his best Poke / combo starter. Control the air with j.B and punish silly shit with 2B / 6C (6C CH Combos are mad damaging). Reset pressure with TK D Nails blah blah. Bang forums have a beastly write up.
  11. Why can't they nerf Hazama? He's got that Akuma syndrome
  12. Meh. I have no problems with Mu, When you lose it's because you made a mistake. Sure, her CH game is pretty ridiculous, but that's just how it goes. Her mixup and pressure are meh. I actually think it's somewhat fair, even now. Respect Mu and you'll come off better for it.
  13. It's all about dat' Liz in P4U. Also Mu still defying all sense and sensibility?
  14. I'd recommend Tao to anyone dedicated to the game. Tao does nothing but reward you for your efforts, plus you'll pretty much never run out of things to learn.
  15. It's because she doesn't have easy big damage combos. Kappa. ?
  16. I'd go a few rounds on Marvel if you'd like.
  17. It's always been cool to hate the more recent of TES series. Whilst I'm pretty open about the fact I think Oblivion > Skyrim in terms of immersion (I just prefer Cyrodiil) I still think they're a cracking series. Sometimes I get the feeling people under appreciate the sheer scale and level of detail in the Vanilla game, and instead base the game on it's technical merits at face value. Like I've spend literally days on Skyrim doing a "Roleplay" Run through. No Fast Travel, Higher Difficulty, Few "Realism" Mods installed etc. No more than 2 weapons blah blah. That alone makes the game godlike. I always felt like carrying enough to outfit a militia was silly. Though of course, I know people that hate it for genuinely valid reasons.
  18. Could anyone tell me their favourite "Oki" setups with Bang? I've realised I've just began to IAD Back D Nails after a corner combo. I don't really have any setups midscreen or anything.
  19. Berserk Manga > Anime It's not even a fair fight. Anywho. Dragons Dogma, Don't write it off because it's Western by design, You can tell the Japanese put some serious work into this. It's Shadow of the Colossus, mixed with TES, Sprinkled with a bit of Dark Souls and baked in the ovens of Japan.
  20. Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen It's like £17 online, If you've not bought this game yet (Shame on you) Buy this version, the DLC looks ace. Seriously, buy it. It's like Berserk the game. Why have you not played it?
  21. Grapplers offer a weird twist on the game. I absolutely <3 Tager. You defend for 3/4 of the game. Then you get in once and completely destroy them. That feel when someone techs Tagers 6C > 5D is BEAUTIFUL.
  22. I think having a stalker would be kinda hype
  23. I just broke 2,100. And I actually usually refrain from posting, too. #1 Dustloop Lurker for sure though.
  24. Play someone without a DP and realise how OP blocking is. Though I keep it on the down-low. I genuinely think playing without a DP makes you a better player, You don't have the panic button to fall back on, and your blocking becomes so based. Nothing feels better than NOPE'ing a Litchi blockstring.
  25. How did you find that out before me?
