I wouldn't worry about connecting the Ottawa Melee scene. I still have some contacts with the Ottawa Smash scene from way back, and I already passed the info on to one of them who knows a lot of the group. As it gets closer to the date, I'll again try to contact some more. -

Is the way of Persona mash DP and AoA all day? -

You can just take up Ragna and switch to Azrael when CP comes out. Dash kicks all day. -
As far as I know, there should still be BB and P4A there among a bunch of other games, for sure.

I understand that, but I have to be honest and say that Krackatoa knows way more about the scene and numbers and stuff for his get-togethers as I've only been to 1 and am unfamiliar with most of the crowd there still. Plus, you also have to understand that Ottawa's known for not having the biggest scene and what scenes we've had have been primarily Marvel and AE, so when it comes to the not-Capcom games we're still trying to grow things. -

For what it's worth, there was like at least 6 other than me just for BB and Persona on Monday. Not counting the other like 6 or 7 for PSAS and the couple people doing GG. And keep in mind, this isn't even including the people from HQ or those 2 Tekken/KOF guys I know of. -

I still get sore some nights from that stuff, I swears. It's funny because every time I'm randomly going through Extend and see that you're on PSN, I'm all "oh shit, son", lol. -

Sweet, it's good to hear some MTL people on here are thinking of coming out. It'd also be awesome if we could manage to get a couple of people from MTL or TO that play the Capcom games, Melee, or Tekken coming out too as word of mouth and people coming to check it out is always going to be awesome. And if other people show up for some other things, who knows what could happen. -

Dare I enter AE2012 despite being beyond ass and not playing it for months and TTT2 despite flat out being ass at it on top of the obvious two? Oh probs, lol. Either way, it should be a pretty sweet deal and it's time to get hype. -

You guys should totally come down. While sure, I'm not 100% sure on all the details as I'm not Krackatoa, I can say it's been way too long since MTL invaded and stole what little money we had. Like, I think the last time Montreal came down here was like, CS2 days. -

Can't speak for TO, but MTL might be down since they used to sometimes show up for the GO things. I mean, TO did a couple times too but...yeah I don't know where I was going with this, lol. -

Just figured I'd say good games to everyone that I got to play last night, and my bad to that Guilty Gear guy who's name I keep forgetting. That being said, it was good to have like 5-6 other people to play Blazblue and Persona with. -

Cool, I should be there (though it'll probably be closer to 6 than 6:30, so I can help set some things up) barring me being discovered frozen in place outside between the parking lot and the building. -

Haha, I think people might just assume it's like a typical small 30-person capacity class-room since I dunno what else to picture. Also yeah, I checked the map and was surprised they're next door. Now, any suggestions on places to park? I heard the mall tows people who park there for more than an hour if they're not actually going in the mall so that's kinda off the table. And debating if taking an online course there would make me count as a part-time student since apparently you can park in a couple of lots (I think 8 and 9) after 5pm for free if you're a part time student. I dunno, just trying to find avoiding spending like $12-$15 for a couple of hours worth of parking. 3 and a half hours later edit: I found a place on there I can just camp for $8 the entire day, so I might wind up parking there. -

Ha, and here I was figuring I had to park in that mall near the student subdivision and walk it from there. Good to know. -

I'll be on the campus because I have to get a textbook for my online course anyway on Monday so I expect to be there. Hm...how close proximity-wise is the bookstore to the student commons at Algonquin again? -

In need of a 2nd PS3 station, well hell, that's pretty cool number-wise. For what it's worth, in the next couple of months if I'm going to swing by HQ on a Friday (as I'll probably wind up alternating on trips down between the Algonquin stuff on Mondays and HQ Fridays once I'm more able to make more drives) and you need a 2nd PS3 setup, then I can bring my system since it's already got Extend/P4A/TTT2/SCV/KOFXIII and the PS3 version of AE2012 installed on it.
