Well, though I only got 2 games in, GGs to Star and Kodimt. And Kodimt, since XDest is from the same province as me, I'd imagine your connection to him would be similar to the connection you had with me. Yay for being "the bad Noel" too, lol.

To be serious, BB got me legit into fighters again after I was getting bored of and wondering why I was playing Brawl. It gave me something I enjoyed, let me also enjoy games that I probably wouldn't have otherwise played in P4A, TTT2, and even partly Injustice. Plus, I actually met a bunch of friends through it and all that good stuff. Though the amusing irony is I found BB via Brawl back when CT came out.

Or you could has PS3 and get free online play, and pull a Chris G by whining about "input lag being why you lost".

No worries. I'd joke that "a couple of you are welcome to come to K-Ville and play on PS3" but lol, nobody's doing that.

@Lan5X, yeah I remember some of the discussions we had on the possibility of casuals, and I don't live far enough away to like never go. Just, not every week. Of course, failing that, I'm like always on PSN, so hey. @Verbal, it never hurts to get into it now. I mean hell, we were sadly 1 person short from getting BB at CKO, which was so depressing since I practiced for weeks to not get stomped in it by MTL, only to get stomped by them in P4A. @XDest, having you down in the area even for a little bit would be awesome. The more the merrier, etc etc.

Ah yeah, Gatineau's a bit away. I mean, if I had a job and money, I wouldn't be technically far from HQ even though I live in K-Ville (not Kanata) which is 40-45 minutes south of Ottawa. Does anybody remember who the van person was?

If there are MTLers who would be willing to that would be AWESOME and make it a lot more affordable. For what it's worth though, I remember somebody talking about getting a van of people together to go down and charging them based on gas or something. Not sure if that's still a go. Either way though, I'd suggest to anybody that's even considering going and can, to go. MAD1 was awesome, and UMAD looks even better.

I'd do more offline practice but I'm saving what little money I have to try and afford a trip to MTL for UMAD in June, so I'm mostly in a zone where I'm doing online play with a group and all that.

Thought I'd let you guys know, but one of the people I play BB with over PSN from over there heard about Foonzo and said he was going to try and check it out the next time you guys got something going on over there. Apparently he knew some people that had gone there or whatnot. He goes by "ReynTime" (sp?) or something to that effect, and I think he's partly a Bang player. I asked him to check with you guys first or whatever so uh...yeah. My bad if that's what it is, hopefully not?

Lol, they're literally the only two I still play, so I'd likely wind up reverting back to Yukiko or randoming Akihiko or Aigis.

It's just because Kanji is like one of my 2 death-matches with Chie and my Narukami was way too rusty to feel like switching, lol. If you want to not get in the money, just pick Labrys, duh.

Autocombos, autocombos all day! And like I said in the SRK threads, I'll at the very least be bringing PS3 copies of P4A/BBCSX/Injustice(despite it being on 360)/TTT2 just in case, and possibly bringing my PS3.

Well, I'm a P4A player obviously as is known, but for me to drive out and back is $20 on gas, and I'm super poverty as it is and can't afford to do that every week, so I have to pick my spots of when to come out. But if setups is a problem, I'll get my PS3, cables, and copy of PS3 games packed up and bring them to help deal with the problem.

That, kinda sucks that it's got no spot to speak of and might upset some of the MTL crowd (and me as well since I didn't go and o as much demanding since I thought the demand was there), but admittedly means I can take the practice time and entry money from it and put it towards other games.

I'm not sure if P4A's getting axed entirely. I mean, I think personally it might depend on the entry numbers for Blazblue, but I could be wrong. It'd be odd for it to be totally axed though, since it had a fair number of entrants at Gamefest1. As Injustice is an NRS game and those are usually PS3, I'm not sure why it's 360, other than possibly them not knowing how many PS3 copies of it there are but yeah...I'll ask Contra and find out.

Oh nice, MTL is heading out again. They're gonna be out for more blood this time, lol.
