1. You can use gadget whiff after any move that puts the opponent in knockdown state (laying on the ground or bounced off the ground). For example: 3C, 6C or Atomic Collider. You can even GF whiff after ending a combo with Gadget Finger itself to catch backdashes. ex. GF>GF whiff> 720 2. its easy with a little practice. This demonstrates how to do it perfectly every time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZYDa5xtuc0&list=PLSL4T52ZUssA0WG5lsBmoi0RzXqG_iZAs&index=9&t=4m32s 3. Watch all 3 of these videos https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTgGLCzA4bHfmzlzIHhddaw. To me combos in BBCPEX are much easier and better than in BBCP 4. I use PS4 controller on PS3. Its D-Pad is perfection. i bought it just for BlazeBlue since i dont have a PS4 yet.

Their two lists taken together match up very well with my previous overall rankings based tier list. Showing that my rankings tier list was very accurate. Especially when compared to the simplified version. The only difference is Lychee who has shown to perform higher, and Tao who has shown to perform lower than both of thier lists. (in no particular order) S (Top Tier): Jin, Lychee, Nu, Hazama, S-/A+ (Very High): Teiga, Bang, Kokonoe, Azrael, A (High tier): Reriusu, Kagura, Hakumen, Tsubaki, Makoto,Vu~aruken Hein, Carl, Ragna B (Mid tier): Rachel,Taokaka, Platinum, Celica, Noel, Amane, Izayoi, B-/C (Low Tier): Mu, Bullet, Arakune, Lambda T (Terumi Tier): Terumi Simplified version: (in no particular order) S: Jin, Lychee, Nu, Hazama, A: Teiga, Bang, Kokonoe, Azrael,Reriusu, Kagura, Hakumen, Tsubaki, Makoto,Vu~aruken Hein, Carl, Ragna B: Rachel,Taokaka, Platinum, Celica, Noel, Amane, Izayoi, Mu, Bullet, Arakune, Lambda T(Terumi Tier): Terumi It didnt help Goro against Hages Tager. Hage beats Goro to win the 3/21/2015 BBCP2 Touhoku Battle to Decide The Strongest Tournament. Just imagine how much worse Tager would have beat Goro if he wasnt Makotos strongest match up! Thanks for clarifying, seems i was basically right about how it worked afterall.
-
i didnt say thier dan would drop i said i think that others who kept playing would eventually gain higher rank than them. i thought it had to do with points or something but i realy dont know how the actual system works anyway.... .

As i said before this is the general impression that comes across based on the nationwide rankings data of the top players playing at thier best over the past month and a half. By the time all the top players quit the game the console version will have been out long enough and a more permanant tier list will have been established. Maybe it will change a little maybe it will change alot. Its fully expected to change though I doubt it will change that much.
-
Yes i understand all of that but he and another didnt know where the data was coming from so i was clarifying that for him. Ahh! so that is what Fenrich has done!! Actually i dont think that would work because if they stopped playing the would stop earning ranking points, while those who keep playing would keep gaining ranking points and eventualy surpass them in rank. But no its not based strictly on if there is just one player at a given dan. i gave explanations for each tier but here is an example for S tier. S: spent the majority of the time in the top 10 and held higher rank in the top 5 longer than the tier below, all while having multiple chars in the top 20 First i based it on the number of different players using the same charachter that made it into the top 20 over the time period. Second how often the same char took multiple spots at the same time as the other, then by the place the highest one of them reached and how long that the highest of that char has held its spot. For instance over that time period i measured at one time or another there were up to 3 jins, 3 nus, 3 hazamas, 3 lichis, and 3 bangs players all in the top 20 at the same times as the other. The majority of the past month and a half time the top 20 ranks were held by a combination of 13-15 of these same 5 charachters all at once. But jin, nu, hazama, and lichi all held more or higher spots for a longer period of time without dropping out of the top 10 than bang has, Thats why i put jin nu hazama and lychee in S and bang in S-/A+. Also bang is not considered to be overall as good as them and the rankings showed that. Compare that to chars i put in B or lower tier that never came anywerher close to making it into the top 20 over the same amout of time.

To be specific, they are actually taken from ArcSystemWorks official BBCP2 rankings website. Every single BBCP Arcade Cabinet in Japan is linked together over the internet on the Nesica live network. The rankings are an aggregate of the Top 150 players in the entire country of japan who uses the Neisca live card to store thier game profile data. However if you wanted to you could view the rankings of each individual prefecture separately. i initially forgot to add the link to the official rankings page in my other post for people to view it themselves to know where the data is actually coming from. Here is a pre-translated link http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=en&rurl=translate.google.com&tl=en&u=http://sp.bbcp.ac/ranking_view.php%3Fp%3D1%26mode%3Dexe%26type%3Dpsr_rank&usg=ALkJrhge-Hads2dP4XO0rBGkweUatuyb3A

Well i put him in A because he is doing a heck of a lot better than everyone else in B tier as far as the overall rankings is concerned. He is 17th dan and has been sitting comfortably in the top 20 for weeks. Unlike the others in A tier, no one in B tier has been anywhere close to breaking into the top 20 or reached 17th dan within the specified past month and a half time frame when i started keeping track.

After checking the Japanese Overall Nationwide Dan Rankings regularly over the past month and a half and following the fluctuating placements of each character, this is the general impression that comes across based on the nationwide rankings data. http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=en&rurl=translate.google.com&tl=en&u=http://sp.bbcp.ac/ranking_view.php%3Fp%3D1%26mode%3Dexe%26type%3Dpsr_rank&usg=ALkJrhge-Hads2dP4XO0rBGkweUatuyb3A In no particular placement order within tiers S (Top Tier): Jin, Lychee, Nu, Hazama, S-/A+ (Very High): Teiga, Bang, Kokonoe, Azrael, A (High tier): Reriusu, Kagura, Hakumen, Tsubaki, Makoto,Vu~aruken Hein, Carl, Ragna B (Mid tier): Rachel,Taokaka, Platinum, Celica, Noel, Amane, Izayoi, B-/C (Low Tier): Mu, Bullet, Arakune, Lambda T (Terumi Tier): Terumi S: spent the majority of the time in the top 10 and held higher rank in the top 5 longer than the tier below, all while having multiple chars in the top 20 S-/A+: spent the majority of the time moving around in the top 10 and have all been in the top 5 rank at one time or another. Chars in S maybe considered generally a little better/stronger overall than those in this tier. A: spent majority of the time moving between top 20 and top 30 rank B: consistanlty spent most of the time in the 30s and 40s never made it into the top 20 B-/C: consistantly stay at the bottom ranks, not breaking into the top 50 T: considered by most as worst char in the game Ill show you why!! Tager completely dominates the 3/21/2015 BBCP2 Touhoku Battle to Decide The Strongest Tournament Edit: ill have to relink the battle of the strongest videos since the origional full stream i link to was deleted

As i clearly pointed out my tier list is based soley on the current Top 20 Japanese Arcade Overall Dan rankings as of 2/17/15 http://translate.goo...Yk5awrOuxzLJpmw It is not based on my opinion, matchups, tournament wins or anything else. 4th: Conan Tsubaki 18 stage 11th: light warrior Makoto 17-stage 13th: secret society PSR chieftain Teiga 17-stage 18th: Zon B Teiga 16-stage # 22: air (iii) Kagura 16-stage # 31: cleaning Vu~aruken Hein 16-stage All of the charachters you mentiond are doing way better and ranked much higher than Valk in the overall nation wide rankings. You can argue with the data all you want but its not going to change the fact that, even if Valk was somehow SS God Tier, no one is good enough to get higher than 31st place with Valkenhayn in all of Japan. Valk is currently at the time of this post the absolute bottom last place 16th Dan char in the overall nation wide rankings and that is exactly what my tier list accurately represents. Thank You

New is google translate for Nu LOL

My BBCP2 Tier list based soley on the current Top 20 Japanese Arcade Dan rankings as of 2/17/15, http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=en&rurl=translate.google.com&tl=en&u=http://sp.bbcp.ac/ranking_view.php%3Fp%3D1%26mode%3Dexe%26type%3Dpsr_rank&usg=ALkJrhhklRjHdougkQ-Yk5awrOuxzLJpmw Comprised of all chars ranked 16th Dan and higher only. Orded by number of chars in top 20 first, then by rank. Just a funny note: The best Tager is 17th Dan ranked #13 while the best Valk is 16th dan ranked 31st LOL S: Jin 3, Bang 3, Lychee 3, Hazama 3, Teiga 2 A: Tsubaki, Ragna, Kokonoe, Makoto, Nu, Azrael, B: Carl, Kagura, Rachel, Reriusu, Celica, Izayoi, Vu~aruken Hein, C or lower: everyone else S-tier: Has more than 1 char in top 20 ranked 16th dan and higher. The number after the name is how many of that char is in the top 20. This shows that 14 of the top 20 consists of the same 5 charachters. A-tier: Has only 1 char in top 20 ranked 16th dan or higher. Listed in order of rank. B-tier: Has no chars in top 20 but has reached 16th Dan only. Listed in order of rank. C-tier: Has no chars in top 20 and has not reached 16th dan.

i dont have many vids of Tager against those chars in the Tager video thread but if you check Zombies win loss record to see he dominates against them pretty heavily! Zombie's guild card, who is currently the #1 ranked Tager in Japan at 16th Dan http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=en&rurl=translate.google.com&tl=en&u=http://sp.bbcp.ac/member_record_battle_view.php%3Fuser_id%3D44992%26charactor%3Dtg&usg=ALkJrhgQePbYtwJmr2k1JczW7bxG_76XpQ vs Azrael: 242 matches 175 wins (72%) vs Noel: 128 matches 122 wins (95%) vs lambda: 22 matches 18 wins (82%)

In 1.1 they also nerfed his 5A alot. But in CP2 they unerffed it back up some to where its good again. Also it seems like they buffed his back dash back up a little bit too. Even Dora says Tager is A, so he is at the least between A and S tier. if you look at Zombie's guild card, who is currently the #1 ranked Tager in Japan at 16th Dan, it shows his total Win loss record of all his matches against Nus. Its very impressive. vs Nu: 245 matches 217 wins (89%) http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?depth=1&hl=en&rurl=translate.google.com&tl=en&u=http://sp.bbcp.ac/member_record_battle_view.php%3Fuser_id%3D44992%26charactor%3Dtg&usg=ALkJrhgQePbYtwJmr2k1JczW7bxG_76XpQ I also like how their is not a single Nu in the overall Top 20 highest Dan rankings while Zombie's Tager is ranked #18th.

i love how top japanese players are discussing how Tager is either S-Tier or A-tier. I was the only one that knew this day would come despite everyone else here that said before that it would never happen lol. They can all eat crow!! I cant wait till April 23rd!!!

Well Since you mention Noel, this one is definitely shedding tears.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuHjM9BfZR0&t=35m17s You said it brother! It took almost 6 years but finally ITS TAGERTIME!!!

I posted many more new great CP2 Tager videos that showcase his new S-Tier status: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/index.php?/topic/9616-cp-20-iron-tager-video-thread/#entry888855 Here are some examples: Grandia (Tager 14th Dan) VS V-13 (Tetsu Yarou) 15th Dan https://www.youtube....0_ILZ0&t=10m59s Grandia (Tager 14th Dan) VS Puromete[Koike](Litchi) 17th Dan https://www.youtube....0_ILZ0&t=17m11s Ponpoko (Tager 12th Dan) VS Puromete[Koike](Litchi) 17th Dan https://www.youtube....ILZ0&t=2h41m27s Ponpoko (Tager 12th Dan) VS Valkenhayn (Suya) 15th Dan https://www.youtube....ILZ0&t=2h45m37s Blue Hawaii (Tager 12th Dan) vs Valkenhayn 14th Dan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EuHjM9BfZR0&t=1h42m07s

Now then she'd just a rip off of XMvsSF Rouge and Double from Skullgirls. I have always hated characters that are only just a copy or mish-mash of other chars moves sets. And no this is not a recent trend in fighting games, its been around for a very long time. In tekken and soul calibur for example
-
Now this is just a rip off of MVC2 Rogue
-
Charin was always a mediocre Tager player in CP1 but in CP2 he has improved greatly. He looks to be getting really good now going by the videos of him I've seen so far.
-
Again i want to point out that this is the pinnacle of Tager play that i have seen so far in CP2. just watching the videos its very clear that Tager is much better in CP2 than he was in CP1. Here is a very recent 1hour and 30minute killing spree marathon of Tager S-tier excellence, and he is dominating against all zoner characters. I think the player is Hage please correct me if im wrong. Tager(Hage?) vs hazama, platinum, izayoi, mu https://www.youtube....h?v=Lmq--mT5yYY https://www.youtube....h?v=mSBGv7PoWc4 https://www.youtube....h?v=AGDRtUvaFeU https://www.youtube....h?v=KBqPogjGdUo Also 30minutes of Tager dominating against Rachel Charin vs Rachel https://www.youtube....Rgs_aI&t=46m12s just incase anyone missed my last posts i have plenty more good Tager vids here http://www.dustloop.com/forums/index.php?/topic/9616-cp-20-iron-tager-video-thread/?p=886671

Ask and you shall receive! Witnesses tagers greatness!http://www.dustloop.com/forums/index.php?/topic/9616-cp-20-iron-tager-video-thread/#entry886671 Also Tagers CP2 combos look much easier to do than in CP1

YES!! My Dream is finally coming true!! S-tier Tager here we come!! I laugh in the face of all who doubted the Power of Science!! This is no surprise to me at all becasuse as i have said before Tager has always gotten better in every new iteration of the game. They are simply following their set pattern. It was only a matter of time. Also i was exactly right about a new version of Chronophantasma (CP2) being released for the PS4 just as Mori said he was going to do in that interview i posted in this thread back in early November. If you guys want to actually witness many examples of Tagers new found S-tier greatness then look no further than my new video post right here: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/index.php?/topic/9616-cp-20-iron-tager-video-thread/#entry886671
