Hmmmm. Well I'm certainly not a high-lvl player, I've play online since CT and I was a solid mid-range player online back in extend though I mained Tager which requires a lot of reading at that level and up. Haven't played as much CP online as I'd like. But for me when I play Tager I try to intimidate the other guy and try different trap setups when I can. Or if they are particularly vulnerable to a certain setup I'll use it until they figure out how to get out. Also if I see that the other guy is highly aggressive then that often makes them more reckless and eager to tech so I'll try to capitalize on exploiting that. Were if they are more careful and patient the match is usually much harder. Honestly it's pretty much textbook play for any Tager player, just watch the guy's habits and tendencies and try to exploit them. That knowledge is what you should apply to any character you play really it's just that it often matters a bit more on Tager. You also have to keep an eye on your meters and know what you should spend it on. Hopefully that was helpful and not just me rambling.

It depends on the combo. Depending on how you started the combo they may have been able to tech early due to proration. But timing is a factor as well, doing something simple like 5A > 2A > 2C and then 6D right as soon as they start flying back should always land. Also if you use it as an anti-air sometimes if they are too high or something they can bounce over the bell bug.

His curse mechanics are pretty much the same as it was in CS though the overall damage and length of those combos were nerfed in CP. However, his neutral game, corner, and curse setups are much better than they were in CS. Overall, you'll do less damage per curse but be cursing them more often CP. So it balances out pretty well.

So Celica is looking like a decent character. But imo from what I've seen so far they haven't added enough to Nu at all to make up for what she lost. Nu was a decent character before but then they cut out half her moves to slap them onto another character? So if nothing changes I imagine both will just be underpowered and there's not enough of a difference between their play-styles either to be honest.

Yeah, she looks like a pretty solid character. Doesn't seem to be OP or trash. That and she is adorable , I look forward to being able to play her...whenever that happens to be that is.

God I love their use of the chibi's in the radio show, wish I knew what they were saying. But looking at this, Celica definitely doesn't seem to have any real doll mechanics. So she probably won't appeal to people who play Carl or Relius. Though that slashing distortion was badass, wasn't expecting a move that edgy to come from Celica. Was kinda hoping it was her astral. She's freaking adorable though and I love the doll's design compared to the others. Someone get to work on the Celica ball stat! I must have it for my signature!

The words FRESH MEAT! come to mind. Lol but seriously, although it is entertaining stomping newbies and seeing how they react(especially with the mains I play). It is nice to get new blood into the game and to actually feel like you taught someone something. When I play with newer players I don't like to patronize them by going too easy on them since when that happens to me I find it more insulting than anything and you don't learn much if the better player isn't being at least somewhat serious imo. I also like to take matches like that as an opportunity to try and practice with characters I don't play very well so I can learn something too.

You should really go through the game's tutorial mode if you are having problems with things like that. But you just hold any button that's not the drive button(D) and you should immediately get up as soon as you are able. Or mashing should work just as well.

Funny to see that Bang is literally the only character with not even a single vote. But why am I the only Tager main?! Where's the love for the red devil?

Been playing Tager and Arakune since CT. Used them as crutches in CT so I could compete with my better friends as I didn't know airdashes at all back then and they were both noob stompers. Still enjoy playing them and play them best now.....and still noob stompers. Also they are just cool characters, REAL SOVIET DAMAGE! followed by a swarm of BEEEEEEES!!!.

Litchi is a really strong character though she certainly is not easy to start with.
