I've been having a tough time with Kanji.. I've been able to lock down Kanji with Marin Karin and sticking it to him but whenever he gets at least 25 meter, he hits me with this EX face-grab from the air. I really hate it lol. If you know he's going to do it you can DP, or if you're grounded you can 2B him, but aside from that, I'm at a lost on how not to be afraid of this guy. I try to stay away from jumping too and aiming at his Persona every chance I get. I've been having a bad habit of doing 2AB slide and before I can even cancel it or strike, I get grabbed... Should I never attempt this? Also Kanji in Awakening mode is scarrrry. Basically I feel like I need to just try and keep Marin on him, while keeping my distance with safe pokes but should I be doing 46A to get in / stuff him out, at all? Another question, I noticed that Mitsu's 5B while held, kinda lifts her in the air.. Would that stop me from getting grabbed if I for example, ran up, bait the grab by holding 5B, and try to fatal him?

That's the thing though.. I don't always know.. Some player's know you're going to jump and when that happens I get grabbed there too lol. Oh and just so we're clear.. I'm a Lambda player.. there is no DP aside from Sword of Doom ; ;

I don't think its cheap, I mean I've teched a fair share of them but like Cookie said.. There's the few that make you go "┻━┻ ︵ヽ(`Д´)ﾉ︵ ┻━┻" "wtf!" Grabs are grabs and I couldn't imagine a fighting game without em. I really do need to learn to start grabbing other people though. I've never had the mentality to do it other than after someone grabs me. lol A lot of grabs you can just see coming though and it just irritates me when I miss it. For example: When someone knocks you in the corner and they're in your face by the time you get up.. Well.. I'm WAITING to see the green and when I press, its like "Ha..ha.. you missed.. Here's a BK combo from Ragna nao! :D" and I'm just like " ....." lol

Netplay grabs are _____ HORRIBLE and I hate that I know a grab is coming but even when I click B+C at the same time, it seems late. Purple grabs.. no problem. Green.. /rage. So is there any tips for this? I've been playing Blazblue for 3 years and I've "seen" it all but maybe I'm missing something.

I haven't even spent one hour on Ragna and I can do 5/6k combos easily xD This is.. fun..

Heya, hoping you guys could help me out~ I can't seem to get sj.C to land after 214D > C... Any tips on that? I tried waiting for the opponent to fall as low as they can after 214D into 5C so many times but it never seems to connect. One really simple combo I can't even do is "2D > 5C > 5D (First hit) > 214D > C > sj.C > ~ Sick of being stuck on Mission #11 and staring at this damn replay. xD Edit -- I passed it and retried it multiple times while being successful.. I guess my problem was not hitting sj.C quick enough? I'm not for sure but hey.. it works. Edit-- Why does this combo work on Jin but not Ragna? -- Corner "CH 632146D (hold) > 5B > 5D (first hit) > 214D etc~ When I try to do it on Ragna, the 5B wiffs and Ragna already teched.. Haven't tried with other characters yet..

After doing 175+ battles over the course of two days, the majority of them.. Were Ragna. I'm learning this character. It really bugs me that while I'm playing safe that just one hit and it means hell for me. Even on a 5A or 2A I'm sent back getting 2.5-3k damage and then have to play the lockdown game with him.. Ugh.. Sorry Lambda.. Was Ragna ever this good in CS1/2? If so, maybe I just didn't run into enough good ones but from my understanding, he was a decent fight.. but now my mind is just blown lol..

Can Lambda still do 2149D to get the J.214D effect?

If 2C is not a true DP, why does it always catch me when I'm in the middle of hitting that damn turtle? I can't hit her for a small period.

I run away when I can but even with gravity seed I can only predict and zone a player but so much, maybe Lambda isn't my character or I still have a lot to learn.. The IBs are helping out a lot though~ Thank you for this!

Thank you very much for the informative posts! I've been playing for over a year but I guess I still need to learn. XD Just seems like every-time I start to get the handle though they throw in a new version and I'm thrown off my game.. I was never a quick learner (I only know one character FCOL). Now knowing the power of IB I think I'll take more "chances" and learn what I can and can't do.
