  1. Here! Have some dark and broody Zato-theme on these lovely sunny summer days! :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FJR9cG8aM8
  2. Millia's or Potemkin's seem like they're really possible. But we'll just have to wait and see, I guess. Also, werewolfgold, I kinda wish I was in your place right now. That concert seems hype! Though maybe next time...
  3. Are you guys having a nice summer so far? I sure am, as I've gotten to make my recreation of Faust's Xrd-theme: http://youtu.be/JusLCMTmLU4 Enjoy!
  4. Ooooh, the urge to buy a ticket to the concert then would rise significantly, then! :D
  5. I guess that confirms Revenger?
  6. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aw1gXcc0xsc And here comes my recreation of Bedman's theme! The perfect little lullaby!
  7. The same guy on Niconico that made the previous recreation of Ramblebam's theme, 342, has made an orchestral arrangement of Magnolia Eclair. Just search up something like "Ky Kiske Orchestral" and it should appear as one of the more recent uploads. And yes, it's freaking GODLIKE.
  8. SURPRISE MILLIA THEME-RECREATION! http://youtu.be/lZ9ao_Bse80
  9. In general, if the music is not ripped from the soundtrack, in other words; if it's made from scratch, and if the image used is not an ArcSys-official, then ArcSys, and thus, the mods, shouldn't have any problem with it. However, since this is thread is mainly meant to promote oneself or other artists and get feedback if it's your own work, make sure the nico-vid is by the one that actually made it before posting it here.
  10. Here's something out of nowhere to think about: While I was tinkering with an arrangement-recreation of Millia's Xrd-theme, I kept getting strange deja vu towards Black & White, which I thought to be strange, cause I felt those two were two different kind of themes. But upon further analysis, I found out that the two have very similar structure: They're both in D-tuning, they both have the same beats per second (plus/minus one or two beats) and they both have the same route of segments, that being: A (Intro Riff Part 1) -> B (Intro Part 2/Ending Riff) -> C (Verse) -> D (Build-up for chorus) -> E (Chorus) -> C -> D -> E -> F (Bridge) -> D -> E -> B -> G (Wrap-Up) So that made me wonder, what other Ishiwatari-pieces from BB do you think are similar to GG in terms of their structure? Cause I'm pretty damn curious about that now. XD
  11. Nobody can measure up to the level of the Shadow Kanji Vocal Group. You just can't, they're that godlike.
  12. If we're talking about the BBxGG one at 2011, then yeah, I'll agree that he sounded a tad exhausted.
  13. https://soundcloud.com/gvgguy/guilty-gear-ride-the-fire-karaoke-arrangement While working on my arrangement of Ride The Fire, I decided to make a karaoke-version that everyone can enjoy and sing along with. It's a little different from the original, though, so you're gonna have to sing "Choose your path now!" a few extra times. Oh, and I'll post a full arrangement with vocals and everything, once I've mastered performing them...
  14. I'm at least talking about both. I heard the bagpipes on a Jourdal vid about two days ago, then I heard it in the recreation on Niconico. It sounds pretty accurate, probably more accurate than how I'd have made it.
  15. Oh yeah, you're right, Vulcan, I went back to check, and that is straight out Dignity right there. Ishiwatari sure didn't leave out the references here!
  16. So... Ramlethal's theme features a freaking bagpipe!? For some reason I find that fitting for her...
  17. I have now witnessed it, and IT. IS. GLORIOUS! 10/10, ripped straight into my music player. I'm just loving it way too much! XD
  18. Oh hey, NICE! :D Will it be streamed like the Arc Rev Concert, though... WHERE DO I SEARCH???
  19. Oh! Turns out you DON'T need a JP AppleID. I could buy everything just fine with my Norwegian one! :D
  20. It's in times like these that I really don't get the point of country exclusive downloads and what not. Do you gotta buy it with a Japanese card as well? Cause if not, then I might make an Apple ID there to buy it immediately.
  21. It might very well be a kind of fad among Japanese Composers these days. Know of Hiroyuki Sawano? He's more of a cinematic composer (for several animes, dramas and movies), and he has a tendency to use REALLY messed up titles with FUBARed capitalization all over the place. So it might very well be intentional with Ishiwatari's compositions as well, lot's of the CP-tunes he made shows varying examples of that.
  22. I actually already did that. XD Check my Rambletherl Original, I made the short little Glocken-part from The Mask Does Not Laugh as a recurring thing in Lamb Del Terra. (So yeah, I actually put touches of older themes in before we even knew Ishiwatari would do it. XD)
  23. Tnaw, would be cool to have one extra piece of music, but I ain't gonna complain.
  24. Neat, a few names are always nice! :D And with Ramlethal out now, I'm curious if she's gonna be like I-No and Hazama in terms of having one regular theme and one boss theme... And if the regular theme is gonna have tiny references to The Mask Does Not Laugh like the boss one has to Diva...
  25. Oh man, that guitar. I'd say it's something along the lines of a midi that's been edited with various effects, then added into the song as a separate "sound-file" of it's own. GG1's soundtrack has a real pre-recorded guitar in a few tracks, so it kinda proves that the tracks don't consist of pure midi. Recreating that might be hard, as I have no idea just what kind of sound he used as a base and what effects he used to make it sound like it did. So a lot of trial and error would be needed to make something that sounds similar. But then again, that might lead to you finding some other style you like as well.
