  1. Well, that preview for "GO in SOUL!" didn't really preview much of the Azraelific lyrics...
  2. Personally, I prefer most of the originals to their arrangements. I for one would take sword of doom to sword of justice any day, as I prefer doom's apocalyptic feel with it's raw rythm guitar riffs, these were taken out in order to focus on the vocals in justice, so I lost interest for that arrangement REALLY fast. Other examples like MOTOR HEAD II lost that smooth bass-riff that made the beginning of it, and ultimately came out more generic than it's original. I guess, for me, it's the little things that make the picture. I will agree however, that some of the arrangements fit their character much more than their originals do, but I'd still choose to listen to the original any time.
  3. Well, look at this: http://musparade.com/album/Ziki+7/IA-STYLE%16GG Guilty Gear music gone Trance... Hm.
  4. I'm seriously starting to like these more than their CP-cousins! Now I kinda wish they made these kinds of arrangements for at least all the characters that appeared in the series.
  5. Holy shit I'm loving the arranged themes. The top three being Rebellion AM with it's sudden cool twist to the theme with it's nice little piano solo. Susano-oh AM as it's intro gives a real feel of "I AM Hakumen, and you are screwed", especially when the guitar kicks the door in. And Gluttony Fang AM being so fucking smooth with it's calm feel. The Anime may not have been one of the best ones out there, but the soundtrack is definitely one of it's best parts.
  6. Or you could go for the good ol' "Finger That Bitch", but I digress. I may have missed this in earlier parts of this thread, but were most of the IKs tried out? Obviously, I'm the most curious as to what spin Faust's Afro-Nuke has taken this time.
  7. Well, shit, this weekend's gonna be great! :D
  8. Oh hell yeah! That lead guitar going balls to the walls! Fricking SWEET! Really hoping Ishiwatari go back to how some of those tunes were from back then. I mean, he's shown countless times now that he can make a perfect harmony between the hard rock and the soft classic in his tunes. ... Basically, I just want him to go all out with everything in Xrd.
  9. That's something I always liked in X over X2, X had those little touches that made the songs pop out in their own little way, whereas X2 is heavily focused around the band that's playing the music, in other words the guitars and stuff. Remember those awesome string and piano parts in Burly Heart's intro?
  10. Playing some of the good old GGX2#R made me realize something again... Holy fuck, is Babel Noise good! It's got these awesome riffs that transition into some purer and cleaner string parts from time to time, and feels really Chinese girl-y, without really relying on typical Chinese musical throughout the song! So now I'm REALLY hoping Jam makes the roster, cause I just wanna hear Ishiwatari recreating that piece of cheese!
  11. So with the Xrd loketests now being past. Anyone got a specific impression of Bedman's theme?
  12. ... *Slowly raises hand while looking out to not get a random medal buried 5 inches in his masked, yet goopy face* Jokes aside, glad you like it.
  13. Finally gotten my hands on that wonderful triple piece of cheese! LOOOOVIN IIIIIIIIIT! :D If not, then it's at the very least an interesting project for me... Think I'll note that down in my "possible projects" list...
  14. They have it on PlayAsia, that's where I bought it.
  15. Sheesh, it's been a long wait, but it looks like I'll finally get BBCP's soundtrack in the mail this weekend. I'm STOKED!!! I might even review the whole thing when I get the time...
  16. Oh, okay. Short as they may be, does this app contain any new tracks? Or is it just the old classics?
  17. It looks more like it could be a character song single with vocals done by Rachel's VA or something along those lines. Not exactly what I'd call the best idea for a game's soundtrack. Unless Arc has decided that Rachel's Blazblue new face, ...
  18. So they cheated us out of some awesome audio under the guise of "Creating the feel of being at an arcade while playing"? ... Well Shiet.
  19. The problem there is the potential of us having Android phones :P But hell, I'd buy just to see what awesome music I can find in it. Though it doesn't seem like I can trick the android app store to let me download it just to my PC... :/
  20. To be fair, there hasn't been a single post on that thread since I started it, so it's not weird that you don't know. But to answer your question, it's coming back soon, just gotta get a thumbs up from Arc. Jumping on the Sol Vs Ky conv, Noontide doesn't pay off the insane build up that the intro sets, so it's kinda Meh for me. And I agree with everyone else here that pretty much every other Sol Vs Ky theme is worlds above. Which makes me curious to what Ishiwatari will do with Xrd. But what I'm REALLY curious about, is if Ishiwatari will bring back March of the Wicked Man or stick to Make Oneself, seeing Axl's design has gone kinda back to his GG1 days. Cause March of the Wicked Man/King was some of the coolest stuff I've ever heard!
  21. Then welcome to the Guilty Grinders, Agni! Speakin of that. Anybody else hear that rockin victory theme during the winning cutscenes at the end of each match in those Loketest clips?(while they were up, at least) That stuff's great! :D A good sign for the rest of the soundtrack! Though they used placeholders again for pretty much the rest again :/
  22. Well, I figured if there were any passionate Arc Sys fans that could sing, I'd check there first. Also, I'm well aware of Arc Sys going on a Rampage, but they've already told me it's okay to upload the instrumental arrangement, so I got no reason to worry. Appreciate the concern though.
  23. So here's the case: I've recently made an instrumental arrangement of Heavy Day that I'm uploading on Friday. But I think it would be really cool to have an alternate version with lyrics, both the ones featured in the trailer, and original ones that pop up in a second verse. So if anybody think they can perform those lyrics in a similar way to Naoki Hashimoto, with clear audio quality, hit me up, and I'll send you the lyrics.
  24. Yo, figured this would be a good place to ask. I've recently made an instrumental arrangement of Heavy Day that I'm uploading on Friday.
  25. Hold the fuck up! Aren't the second Loketests for Xrd this weekend? I know it's a little early to ask, but has anyone gotten an impression of the music? Hopefully it's not old placeholders again...
