  1. Goddammit, you posted that before I got to post the link to the recreation, you fast fastard. Well anyway, posting it now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kkO2w4IZcrU Slayer's Xrd theme, enjoy!
  2. It's absolutely okay. I'm glad someone else but me can also post their stuff here as well! :D As for the piece you've posted. I get the feeling it's kind of a theme that plays during the events just before the fight, as it has this slow, ominous sounding build-up that keeps building until the end. Emphasis on the "ominous"-part, I really like that. But if you're aiming for something different than an "event-/build-up-theme", then what you have for now probably only serves to be an intro. Though I think you got some great stuff to build upon from that. For example, I think, if the song is supposed to be much longer, then it would sound super-baller if, at the point where the current version ends, you keep it quiet of a second or two before a rough or heavy guitar-riff kicks in and proceeds to the main part. In short, I think you could make an awesome, long and epic piece, based on what you have for now. I look forward to hearing more of it. Also, I'm glad you like my stuff. Thanks for sticking around.
  3. There is a midi-recreation out on youtube somewhere, it's title was with Japanese letters, though, so I have no idea how you can search it up. I just randomly stumbled upon it a few days ago. Although I remember it being uploaded on the 11th, so someone had made that recreation before the game even was out in arcades. That's cool.
  4. I have a feeling that might be the actual reason... "Hey guys, I don't know if you remember, but we made this Sequel/Spin-off of Guilty Gear that we called Guilty Gear 2: Overture. It wasn't really a fighting game, but it had some of our best music ever, so we figured we'd just snuff some of those tracks, so that those tracks get to be in a fighting game anyways. Kthxbai!"
  5. Awesome, this thread could definitely need more love.
  6. I certainly do, I got two copyright strikes a year ago when I did the same thing for some of BBCP's tracks. Those turned out to be because of my use of official artwork taken straight from the game, but now I always contact their Digital Media Manager and make sure they have no problem with me uploading it.
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXC1qBt15Yo And the full Slayer Theme can be heard here.
  8. http://youtu.be/Mb3-7TORjm4 Gentlemen, the recreation of Sol's theme is now up on youtube with Arc's blessings! I hope you find it enjoyable!
  9. ... That would feel... Off. XD March of the Wicked Kind and Worthless as the Sun Above Skies are pretty god damn opposite, after all.
  10. Oh wow, Axl's theme starts just like "March of the Wicked Man", before going over to it's own parts. Nice touch!
  11. And I'm about to to give you my take on Sol's Theme ... Just gotta check with Arc if they're okay with that first.
  12. "You Only Have To Decide It" is present too, in M.O.M-mode, so there's always a chance that there's more Overture Music hidden in the game. And I have a feeling the Console Version might have even more tracks from that game in.
  13. Well, I might get to a recreation of one of those in not too long, I just gotta find a good source video to work it from.
  14. Heh, I guess even though he's the Protagonist, he can't have more than one bonus theme. But doesn't the music go back to Holy Orders once the round ends then?
  15. Oh, nice touch... Wait, does that mean KYA3 plays when you knock Sol's headgear off?
  16. Well, it's either Diva or The Maske Does Not Laugh. But there seems to be multiple nods to Overture in the game. M.O.M mode, for example has You Only Have To Decide for it's menu theme. But when does HOIII play? Cause I can assure you, it ain't Ky's regular theme. Also, Bedman's theme starts with one of those baby's lullaby music boxes... Ain't that adorable.
  17. I'm starting to notice how awesome Chumpkin's is too. Ah, who am I kidding. I'm loving everything so far.
  18. Oh! Mirror Match theme has been confirmed!
  19. My god, what a sax there is!
  20. Holy SHIT, Sol's theme has a heavy sounding start! And Slayer's sounds super-chill!
  21. If we're talking about the Sol vs Faust clip of those three matches, I'd say it's Faust's theme. As both matches before that had the themes of the 2P chars playing. And while it definitely rocks out more than The Original, it's still got some of it's calmer elements, like that piano and overall mood. The intro REALLY has a "Keep Yourself Alive"-feel to it, though.
  22. I'm sure Rabletherl will be playable some time after the Arcade Release. It's like with how they delayed the unlocking of Nu, Mu and Izayoi in CP.
  23. I've just decided to call her "Ramble", cause I (BRACE FOR HORRIBLE PUN) think she'll just ramble about at some point.
  24. So in the recent Bururaji, we find out that Sir Ishiwatari's favorite piece he's made is Still In The Dark. Oh, and we get to hear lot's of never heard before parts of Heavy Day AND a new piece! I recommend checking it out! :D
  25. Well, Xrd is out in arcades... Time to get back to stitching my ears to gameplay-vids! ... IMSOFRICKINHYPED!
