  3. Adachi has Raging Lion? I'll admit, the name fits, because it's making me rage that 2 characters get this move. And it makes no sense for Adachi. EDIT: On closer inspection, it doesn't look like Raging Lion to me, since it has those sweeping claw marks, and he doesn't seem to be moving forward. I think it's more like X-Calibur for Leona in King of Fighters most likely.

  6. For the colors, does using continues make you unable to get the color? EDIT: Also, is there a place I can see the color palettes for the characters from Love Max? I know there was a wiki with one for OG AH3, but that one hasn't updated with the new colors.

  10. This isn't a new IP though. Blazblue was a new IP. P4A was a new IP in terms of fighters, but every playable party member in P4 joined in, and some from P3 too, and it couldn't expand too much without just incorporating more P3, more brand new characters, or some side characters suddenly becoming playable. GG has been around for a while, and even if they are making the models from the ground up, it's not as if they don't have a template of what these characters do already, and models take considerably less time and effort to make than sprites (which both of your examples use), so it's not as justifiable. If it were still sprites, you'd have a bit more of an argument, but as it stands, there's less workload AND it's a pre-existing cast, and it's not like they had to do more than 1 brand new character for this since Rammy is the only one that wasn't in another game, so your justification just isn't good enough. SF4, as slow and inadequate compared to other SF games as it is, had 17 characters in its initial arcade release, and 25 for home. Xrd has 14 for arcade, and 15 for home. Let's not pretend like it gets a free pass for being "the first in a new series" when it's not a new IP, that excuse doesn't work.
  11. In all honesty, I actually kind of hope so, if that's the only way i'm getting more than 1 extra character Hmm, I dunno about that. Capcom sucks, but, at the same time, people keep buying the stuff. From a business standpoint, if people are buying it, there's no real reason to stop. People who complain about the DLC but still buy it aren't helping things, since the company doesn't care if you're happy with the practice, as long as they get the money from it. Besides, even though there have been stuff like expansion packs and etc for a while, i'd attribute modern DLC practices to Oblivion. When companies saw that Oblivion got away with charging money for a purely visual upgrade, they became emboldened and started to lock stuff out to sell back to people. If people wouldn't have bought it, that would have been the end of that practice, with Oblivion being a fluke. However, people continue buying it, so it keeps getting made. It's an annoying practice, but one consumers bring upon themselves by so willingly bending over for it too.
  12. Miyuki sounds interesting, but that just means i'd have Kirito and Miyuki who interest me in the cast. I guess I like the playstyle of Asuna and Shana.
  13. I'm pretty disappointed with that 15 number. They could only manage 1 character for console release? P4A2 is getting so many more, so just 1 for Xrd is aggrivating, especially since it will just be Sin, because he has a model already, and it's easier than starting from scratch. And don't give me something about how much work it takes to make characters, because sprites are harder to make than models, so P4A2 is getting far more work with these console characters than 1 modeled character for Xrd. I still don't have my Jam or Bridget, and their only new characters would be Rammy and Sin, with Rammy just looking ok, and Sin starting off rubbing me the wrong way with his appearance. I wasn't expecting it to jump to 20+ for console, but 18 would be nice.
  14. This is just a theory of mine, but, Koromaru meter is probably a health bar after all, and Ken's healing special recharges Koromaru's health, not his own.
  15. Well, that settles it. I wanted to see this before making the decision, but, i'm going to be using Ken too.

  17. I'd probably make a high mix-up character with rekkas. Something like Iron Fist rekkas with all kinds of routes, and some air mobility + tricky tool, like having multi-angle divekicks. Something like Yang I guess, except a bit more crazy.
  18. What is the "12" for? Is that pack 12 or something?
  19. I think there was a mention of a TKD character already though, though it wasn't a flying hawk with divekicks and flight maneuvers. Admittedly, that does sound really cool and fun.

  22. I wanted Koromaru by himself, but I think Ken with Koromaru is cooler than Ken without Koromaru.
  23. So, this is releasing for $60? Really? I mean, i'm still going to get it, but, fighters just aren't launching at full $60 prices anymore.
  24. As long as my characters aren't flailing uselessly as opposed to being viable, i'm fine.
