J.2C has absurd recovery...In fact it basically looks like it doesn't have any which is extremely strong and stupid. 5c 6c ikutachi 6a blah still combos so there are definite possibilities, same with 5c 6c SoD charge so give some time and combos will doubtlessly emerge. I prefer new steins since they are way safer, it's so hard to punish stein setting now and being half screen rarely matters (ditto with cancels). Pressure and blockstrings are way better. You can't do dddddd fortress as well anymore but it's not a big deal because if they want to get to you they will advance into the fortress anyway which makes the range nerf minor. 6b is a huge buff. Keep in mind this thing gatlings out of 5c now and into 3c even on block which means easy mixups that are very safe as well. Honestly j.2C just looks insanely stupid and I think JP players will definitely abuse it more as they get used to the new Mu. It's quite safe to whiff it now whereas you'd get punished previously (at one point Serizawa whiffs 3 in a row and nothing happens at all to him cause it recovers so fast)

New Mu is broken. Source: I am smart and play Mu.

Stomp on her head, then feel satisfied as you lose.
-
It was specifically nerfed so that that would happen.
-
Terumi has 10.5k, 500 less than average. Come on now.
-
6B does in fact have invuln to low moves. It won't frame trap a mashing opponent by itself, the point is to frame trap mashing opponents after they block it - which is a very different thing.
-
I don't know if it's even possible to microdash but if you don't, a max range 6D (even if all the hits come out) can't link to 236D on some characters, I think. For example it works on Ragna but not Hakumen.
-
With her nerfed drives it shouldn't matter, but 5D will probably kill all of them and it's pretty much safe on block. You can also experiment with 5C for a bigger punish.
-
From 5B starter, with back in the corner, you can get 6760 damage with 100% meter and full health OD by using 41236C to sideswap. 5B 5C(2) 41236C 66 5B 5C 3C 22C 66D ODC j.2D 236D 631246D.
-
From testing against Ragna's 3C > j.B meaty/safe jump setup, the supers had the following result: Ouja Zanrouga (236236A) activated and countered Ragna. Meaning, thankfully, that Terumi can't be safejumped with 50 meter. Jakyou Messenga (41236C) got counter hit before superflash. Gouga Soutenjin (623B) activated but was safe jumped. Orochi Burensen (63124B) got counter hit before superflash. Jabaku Fuuenjin (632146D) activated but was safe jumped. Jarin Renshouga (236236D) activated but come on why would you ever use this. So basically if you want to use a reversal either use counter or Soutenjin, I guess.

What's 623C? Also I can't mash hard enough for 22C to get all hits, any tips or should I just man up and mash harder?

I will go to this as long as it's during my vacation time since I have school, I think it's a fantastic idea. I'll also try to drag some Singaporeans along. Going to the US for Evo is way too expensive for most of us, but Japan is doable since it's much closer and cheaper. I hope this happens!

TK Moonsault off a jcable normal in the corner is a pretty decent option because it's a fairly hard to see crossup.
-
Not to put on a downer on things but if Moonsault isn't invincible at all... See you guy in the Chie forums :3 Jokes aside, Yosuke still has a lot of good stuff going for him even without Moonsault (shorter glide sounds like a buff to me) but it is such a huge part of his game and one of the reasons why it's so difficult to challenge him in the air. Balance is of course relative and he could very well turn out strong even without an invincible Moonsault, but personally I'd consider it a major nerf for sure. Plus Moonsault is slow as shit so it's not even an effective crossup under normal circumstances, so if you take away the invul Moonsault gets relegated to a combo only tool which seems kinda bad design-wise

Who cares about knockdowns, give him some real mixups besides instant overhead from jump-ins and 700 damage throws -__-

[Xrd] News & (Theoretical) Gameplay Discussion
Fluck replied to Shinjin's topic in Guilty Gear General
I have never seen anyone drop a game because the console port took too long, apart from P4U, and that was because that game segregated the Europe from the rest of the English-speaking playerbase. -
Bang's 5C is a 24F overhead, lol. It only hits on that frame on crouchers. The reason why twitch reacting and pure reaction are different is because a pure reactor can't be baited. In other words a twitch reaction is a guess and therefore even the best players should not be able to block it consistently if they undergo the same situation a few times. This is why throws are good and probably why you see them being applied more often, because they are so fast that most players just twitch react rather than pure react to it. Also, I just want to put it out there that throws are actually 20F because of the throw animation, but if you wait for the exclamation they are never purely reactable. This has been said countless times but I really wanted to reiterate it because of how important it is to understand how mixup actually works in BB :V

If you do j.3B, you can hold 3 and block attacks.
-
Try not to jump. Once the Aigis player sees you in the air he's just going to automatically press 2B cause what are you going to do about it? You can beat it sometimes with Raging Lion but the situation is overall not in your favour. If, on the other hand, you're on the ground, he can't 2B recklessly because there is a very real threat that you will roll through it and punish him heavily for it. Also, in the air there's not much you can do to beat Aigis' j.C but you can 2B it if you're grounded.

RIP Kameten Yosuke sucks
