  1. The games weren't too enjoyable on my end. Not because Valkenhayn. Because I had to play like a fool. I never play like that. But, ggs I guess.
  2. Yea, will probably have toned down damage because of this change. We'll have to see if both A and B version can be used as a counter.
  3. Meaning she can most likely avoid oki on her wakeup and deal pretty much half life in the process. Oh boy But we're still limited to only using it in awakening. But still, if it works like that then its going to be extremely scary
  4. Ariadne is still out. Meaning she probably stays out for awhile after the ball is released. I dont recognize that frame shes in so I think its safe to say shes not doing another persona move. Hmm. Maybe the existence of bubble is why they took out hold Tsurugi. It might be possible to release the bubble and do tsurugi while the bubble is still floating around. If she could hold tsurugi placement and have the bubble floating around, thatd be really good. And she could lockdown and allow herself to get in decently. Hope bubble is a decent starter though. Sure as hell doesnt do a lot of damage on its own
  5. I never really got around to learning those combos. Thought they only worked in yellow and red axe
  6. - Chie specific combos confirmed working at blueaxe - sb axe more comboable than… previous loketest or so? comboed off air guillotine on FC start - omb > air guillotine - safe bet FC start combos with 75 meter will be 6k minimum if you spend axe meter How come those Chie combos are working in blue axe. Thats odd. 6k punish combos well bring pretty much anyone in the cast near death, even at full health. Ho boy
  7. ggs but my play was terrible. like, really freaking bad. pads starting to not read my inputs now because of the abuse ive been putting it through. all the times i was just standing was me facing palming, closing/rolling my eyes due to inputs not going through. i should probably play Izayoi more buut fuuuuck this game.

  9. Why two different inputs if its the same move though. D > dash cancel > D stuff is cool though. But unless they improved the amount of blockstun the first arrows place you in, theyll probably be able to DP or 5/2A before the second set of arrows come in and while your in dash recovery. ......... Hm. Thought for a second, and I guess I just answered my own question. The oki setup I created for 5D involves a microdash 5A after 5D to keep them in a gapless blockstring for the incoming DD arrows. Then I thought, holy crap dash cancel might come out now. Then I thought no wait... That's 2D not 5D. So 5D will be like normal and 2D will grant a dash cancel. Well the more options the better I guess.
  10. It's her arrow followup from her flip special thats doing that. Just happens to be a part of her auto combo. I noticed that her charm didnt last as long as they do with the other characters. It sapped sp 3 times then stopped. And is it me or does her jump seem kind of floaty
  11. Still sucks. But looks like she can do it from the air. And with 5AA > 2B gatling existing and comboing now Moujuu will probably still be an easy thing to combo into. Maybe. Air ender Moujuu was a pain in the ass to land in most cases. Id usually be holding my breathe when I do it praying netplay wont make it whiff. But shouldnt Guillotine work anyway now that I think about it. I mean, 5AAAA is still Guillotine from what I know and of course she has to be able to combo from it into super for her auto combo. Maybe Sweep > 214A/B just doesnt work... for some odd reason. Confusing. Praying this is true and makes it into the final game Take away hold tsurugi to.... make it easier to confirm from the already 2 years the move gives us to confirm? Ok I guess. Or maybe this means the actual tsurugi stays out longer Expected that. Wonder if SB version goes away when shes hit. Cant even imagine how this looks. Probably hype as hell though So it has longer range than Mitsuru j.A but its slower than the already slow j.BB. Or do they mean its slower compared to the earlier loktests. Dont think it was said if j.2B was faster or the same speed as the current j.BB. I know they share the same animation. Iffy about this though. Have to see it in practice first. Might be a good air to air, but with j.B being faster now who knows. In combos or pressure though. Maybe the P2's got nerfed. Hmm. Probably a typo. Only two things I can think what the person meant were either 2C or 5D. 2C dash cancel would be weird as hell. While 5D dash cancel would actually be very interesting. If it's not a typo, well then.... shit. The hell are they talking about then. Need video footage.
  12. I think the only really bad there is no more hold tsurugi oki, that still sucks (And no guillotine in Moujuu but Im sure she'll have a new combo route for it). Pretty much limited to the 3 basic throw/overhead/low options now. Which isn't terrible but Im going to miss the holding option. Still wondering on this ball move and exactly how long its active after she releases it. And how long said recovery is. If the recovery is fast and its active for awhile, it could help with her approaches in neutral. Which we all know is one thing she really needs. I remember notes saying that A was smallish, B was medium size, and SB was massive. I'm also glad combo into AoA still works. 5D oki is still possible and maybe bubble oki will be effective too. I really like the changes they've given her so far. Seems like their actually giving her things she actually needed. Have to see what her FC recovery moves are though
  13. Midscreen j.2D > dash 5B > 5C(1) > j.2D > dash 5B > 5D > 6D > 236D (1963 Dmg, 69 meter) Corner j.2D > dash 5B > 5C(1) > j.2D > dash 5B > 3C > Lv.1 22C > 6D > 236D (2400 Dmg, 65 meter)
  14. Thats where 6C (with meter) comes in, don't try to use it without meter though. Seriously. 6C blows up a lot of shit in this matchup in general. 5D >6C/Soutenjin/Messenga all blow up Sledge if you happen to react fast enough to it. 5D > 6C will CH him if he used B sledge but wont work on A sledge. Itll get you CH too if you reacted too slow. Messenga and Soutenjin are better options and will net you 3k and 2.4k respectively. But watch his meter too when you commit to any of these. In most matches I would zone with 5D and sometimes j.D (but not usually) and poke with normals in general while staying out of range mostly. Until I have enough meter to start 6C'ing safely. Watch out for 2D when you start using it though. The meter can also be used to Soutenjin if he happens to catch you. Messenga can help too. Make sure your movements on point also. I need to fight more Tagers but I don't feel the matchup is too bad. I was expecting a lot worse. Just watch out for the typical Tager stuff I guess. Try to always have meter after you get your first 50. Just takes chunks out of his health for poking/choosing poorly then go back to running away. You can probably Renshouga him if he's trying to Voltic Charge too. If you react fast enough, his recovery is pretty long.

  16. I haven't gone on ranked yet but Im not surprised. Everyone's just testing the waters before they hop on there. Its rare for me to see someone with ranked matches on their D Cards when I'm looking through some. I noticed a couple categories are missing for the icons. The GG and Wanted ones. Sucks because i planned to use one of the Wanted ones.

  21. No. They charged my card after they authorized it Friday and it changed to Preparing Order after that. It says they will send a shipping verification email once its shipped. Which I haven't gotten yet.
  22. Neither has mine. It changed to Preparing Order on Friday and has been like that since. Getting worried now.
