Some people say it was probably Ain but as I said before the win ratios didnt add up from when I saw Ain on some videos that were uploaded the next day. The blue Ky went under GG Player and so did Ain for like the first 2 days. He's changed his name now though. Maybe it really was Ain.

Well. Theres a lot more to it then that but it simplest terms, yes. As you said not everything is punishable even on IB. You have to take your character and the opposing character into account. Like Izayoi can IB but she still has trouble getting out of pressure usually because of her slow 8 frame 2A and her 5A that whiffs on crouching.

Barrier causes more pushback on block for the opponent but adds +1 blockstun for you. Instant Block reduces pushback on block for your opponent and shaves off 3 frames off your blockstun. Instant Block Barrier causes large pushback on block for the opponent and shaves 2 frames off your blockstun (-3 from IB and +1 from Barrier.).

Learn to IB or use Barrier sparingly to push them out. IB Barrier to push them out a great deal. Research the characters and learn what can and cannot be disrespected. Every character has something thats unsafe. Its up to you to know which ones are and to punish them for it. The last thing you want to start doing is panic mashing. Theres nothing wrong with being passive but you cant let them get away with whatever they want

Shimotsuki is probably the best one to watch. A lot of his stuffs through the pages of the video thread and it shouldn't be hard finding them. The recent footage of Tetsu playing her is good too. They have to roll backwards to avoid it. They can only avoid it this way midscreen. If you do j.BABC airdash forward falling j.C you'll catch them though. But i dont do it often

No. If they keep DPing after j.C > j.D just safe jump. The safe jump option for that route is combo > 2B > 5C > sj.BAB j.C > j.D immediately after. As your falling input j.1C and once you land do 2B > 5B. So the whole thing is confirm > 214A > 2B > 5C > sj.BAB j.C > j.D > falling j.1C > 2B > 5B. If they DPd then the Izayoi will whiff j.C and just land, blocking their DP. Its meaty so they cant upback or press buttons after it. If they did then j.C > 2B > 5B will all combo and you can go into a confirm from there. If they try to roll forward usually j.C with catch them and you can confirm in 5C and punish them. This works anywhere on the screen.

He might be Machabo. I actually don't watch him often. I watch Ain more. He bodied for like an hour straight until he lost to a Faust I think. He got off after that. He was doing a ton of interesting things in training mode also. For the most part he was dishing out that real man damage with Ky in the corner. 6D rush combos were too swag and did like 50%+

I'm still wondering who that gdlk Ky on the day 1 Mikado stream was since he was just GG Player. Thought it was Ain but their win ratios don't match. And they played differently anyway. After Ain the only other Ky I could have thought of was Machbo. It could've been him but I don't know. JP people in the nico chat were mentioning Faith. But I'm sure they were just comparing the Ky to Faith and it wasn't actually him. Since he retired years ago. But if it was him then goddamn. I really feel like an idiot for not recording the matches though. Really should have. Abelcru got when he first showed up though. Don't know if he's going to upload the rest.
