  1. GGs Brandino. I think I'm starting to improve on defense and escape but I really don't understand what to do all the time.
  2. Seriously - if I have to buy a new system for Chronophantasma, that game better be JAM-FUCKING-PACKED with content and without the terrible mistakes Extend had.
  3. I hate micro dashing. I haven't gotten anything down that requires it, even though I started trying in CS2...
  4. Thanks - I've started to switch to j.SD off FRC tatami and it's better damage. I still can't SJ cancel after tatami FRC or not. No clue how it's physically done. I guess for now I should just use j.PSD for big and heavy characters without FRC or for pickups from a j.K -> land... I'm switching now I kire tatami - before I would 41236956 because it's easier from blocking, but I've been trying to notice that little gap I feel when it works, and that's the 56 part that makes it work - So I'm trying to do 236956 now. For TK YZS, I found out you have to hold 9 very briefly. I haven't gotten to use it in match very well (also people have been blocking high lately) but off any JCable move I can do it like 70-80% Yeah hit confirming huge problem right now. I could have at least taken a match from biscuits last week if I wasn't so nervous and defensive. ( I was frigging done with myself by the time I sat down anyway...) I have a plan for working on hit confirming, even though certain people are telling me there's no such thing. I'm not going ot be free to biscuits next time, though. Nope. Imma figure his shit out and even if I get crushed 0-2 again he's getting embarrassed. >:D
  5. Gotta go in hard and fast, you know. I changed my answer lol. Just try the game out for a while first. Don't decide to be a competitor from the get-go.
  6. EDIT: I'll be honest with you - If you're going to exaggerate the current problems with AE, I'm very sure that - if you become interested and progress to compeittive level in BB or GG - you will do the same with their own problems and be back where you started. That being said - This game also has strong option selects, it also has unblockable setups and very difficult to block situations, and it has some characters that poop damage for very little effort. Question really is, do you understand and appreciate the game and characters you play enough to play it competitively?
  7. Hopping on - Kinda atired so it might just be FT5 or something. I'll try
  8. Maybe in a few hours?
  9. Yomi! That's what that sound was!
  10. GGs - I should have more guests for drawing power. :D
  11. Stream up! http://twitch.tv/starsickle room opens at 9PM.
  12. BB at 9 EST - Skype guests welcome - gonna do some practice and dicking around beforehand.
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6v7bUDTo02c Lost as bad as saturday vs Biscuits but still a lot better. Why can I never get corner throw to work? Throw > 2k for Light characters Throw > 2S for ???? Throw > f.5S for ???
  14. Guilty Gear! http://twitch.tv/starsickle Practicing and playing
  15. Despite playing worse than my first visit a year ago, I learned a few things I could actually do in the next few weeks and I'm thankful the tourney match was recorded and commented on. Next training arc might show some real improvement. Who was the Makoto I played against? I'm just going to say it plain - I didn't have a lot of fun this time. I'm glad I went, but I have to avoid having any more visits like this one. Also - I like the new format - it's way better (and cheaper), but I expected to get more casuals and instead I didn't get much chance to get used to PS2 pad or get more casuals in like I thought I would.
  16. I was talking about a single dash move and my only reference point was lambda's dash low and now I'm being blown up for supposedly saying every KOF character is lambda?
  17. He still got hit - it's invincible, not safe.
  18. Mature hits mid on her run, Vice tackle starts up...Mai hits mid...all those are slow.
  19. Shoutouts to Stickbug for being behind me on that match. XD
  20. Streaming thoughts and match review http://twitch.tv/starsickle Then some practice I guess.
  21. He goes really fast and hits usually low. Lambda!
  22. I could write a computer program that could build combos off Proration values and tables, provided some time making relation lists in order to hold up a few quality problems. But that to me is missing the point and your position and advantage is just not appreciated. But hey, maybe I'm just that horrible and it's easy to take for granted for anyone beyond my level.
  23. Shoutouts to people... I actually have a lot I want it discuss about all my matches but I'll kinda just have to hold that. Shoutouts to that other Long Islander, I'm sorry I forgot your name. You seemed nice. I hope you guys liked my LordKnight outfit. He was asking for a RL streammonster so I obliged. :P
  24. Then Street Fighter Rainbow is the fastest pace fundamental game in the world. Get on RAINBOW LEVEL FUNDAMENTALS. K' is the character people tell new players to play - TBH I'm not really feeling it, other than his DP which goes across the screen and lambda style dashes.
  25. Care to expand on this? Or do you want me to try to explain what *I* think that means? "What is best" (lol what does this even mean) isn't the same as "creating good situations". As Litchi you need to squeeze out damage, but the thing is unless you create situations where you can do that you end up having no control over the match and literally scraping the bottom and working way too hard or you end up like me and never getting any opportunities to do good damage because your opponent is controlling everything you do in some way. You have to constantly have to be looking out about how to make situations of different kinds. You can't space out at all or just expect to get optimum damage off X and go home. What about what happens after, what about where litchi lands? What happens and where are both players after they tech? Nobody tells you *why* we do things like enders and which but it's so important because of what happens after. These things have a lot of advantages after, some of them don't and leave you really exposed. "There are no BnBs...only situations."
