I don't recall ever hearing how Litchi knows how to fight. Linhua is pretty young, so I don't think she knows Litchi can fight. This could mean Linhua would have to find her own way to fight, if not find out how Litchi did. Litchi has her own boundary interface device (Lao Jiu), so I don't think Linhua will have a similar playstyle. If she were hand to hand, I'd make her have similar "Shadow palm" moves Litchi has. Throw in some more "China", and Linhua's all set to go. The more I think of the rope idea the more I know she'd end up just being another ghost rider/Scharla/Axl ripoff, Unngh. Eff that. No way. NO ranged normals. NO.

I don't know. I see her as more of a hand-to-hand fighter. She seemss ot be the kind of person who'd grow up into a fighter. (although, I DO dig the rope idea you just had) She cares about Litchi a lot, and I'm sure seeing Litchi turn to the dark side, or maybe when Litchi finally reveals the worst of herself, would spark Linhua to learn the same arts Litchi did. (Where DID Litchi pick up all those moves?) Unfortunately, Linhua has been around for two games and has already been out-characterized by Roy without Roy ever even appearing. I'm sure she'd be fun and awesome, though. PS: Dat Fang.

I swapped out the thing in the vid with 5C > 2C > air stuff; it gets more damage. Neat. Problem is I get Hatsu sometimes instead of jump cancel. You'll see it in stream vid. Press a 7 or 9 and hatsu comes out. unngh.

If you keep trying it eventually connects. usually takes a minute of pressing buttons.

anything that says "staff2" or or "TK" is going to have to wait a very long time, given the current projects. Such sorcery is moonspeak. As you do it just keep going until you get to 9 or 7, you end up jump and it fires. For Litchi you have to do it for the strange 2C or 5D launched CHs or staff2 things that carry to corner, otherwise you're stuck fishing for staff counter hit. I can't do those, but then again I can't complete any combo yet. Moonspeak wakarimasennnnnnn

You haven't been reading anything I say, have you? This isn't about the tier placement, It's about how deciding if this character is easy/dumb/strong or if she actually has serious disadvantages, and it only looks like nobody can make up their damn mind. One side says "If you can't in two months go home (Moy comes to mind)" and the other's like "It's ok, Litchi is hard, you'll lose more than others at before you get there." No one seems to be able to decide what to say about the character, and I'm just calling everyone out on it; the comments in stream and in the other thread speak for themselves: people don't want to say anything bad officially but then say stuff like "she's hard", "situational", and so on. Why not just be honest with yourselves about it? She got it hard in this version, and not being S really frigging sucks. How you present this to others definitely influences how they treat the game. To me, the last two months have been "she's still really good" and then I hear all these problems and complaints. It just sounds like no one knows what they are talking about or aren't being honest. Now nobody sounds credible enough because of their point of view.
