Rock on. How do I chill out and stay hydrated? See this thread about a few months ago for flowchart and how "this char is easy".. I remember you saying said you wanted to "play valk...I want to win" in stream a few weeks ago, which marked the increase in comments regarding this character, the best being recent ones in the "ask LK" thread, where you pretty much screwed the pooch with "stupid chars get to stay stupid but my char gets nerfed" and the following "what is dumb" discussion. JP list is the list, from the bottom it was Makoto, Tsubaki, Jin, Litchi. That's 4. She's the fourth worst. There were plenty of Litchis at BlueRevo, so maybe the new list, which I didn't get a look at yet, reflects more experience, but I don't buy it, given S tier's existence. The way we're trying to come up with anything so abstract it doesn't make sense to make litchi sound strong sounds desperate. She's C. How many off-hand comments are going to need to be made in stream and other threads before she gets that C in our lovely tier list thread?

Well, when it comes to GG - depends on who you ask. I got a lot farther in the GG tourney than the BB tourney, but I didn't play Mahouko or A3Religion, or Troll Badguy (the person I wanted to prepare for - as far as I'm concerned they are the real measuring stick). Local vets say I'm free, and I shouldn't even show my face. I go to NL and my character is considered bullshit ( I can understand why even though these players are far above my level, I don't see what the problem is) Anyways: TL;DR - It's probable that I am probably only scrubbing it up in GG when you ask others, I can't say for sure until someone that has seen me play at NL or locally posts on the subject. How would I know? You're right, I should practice more, and I get discouraged easily both plying and practicing. It's the worst thing about me and It's not an easy thing to stop doing. That's what I thought but I didn't really see you do anything. again, this is why I don't like people mirroring me to try to teach me something. I never see it, aand it just comes off as trolling. I'm sorry, not 4 months ago we had our moderator talking about having to have a flowchart and how this character is easy, and not two weeks ago the same man was talking about how Litchi can just scrub Itsuu guard point and win. Now he wants to play Valk. Litchi being hard isn't clear to me when people in this forum behave like this, and it's confusing as hell. It's confusing and discouraging because everyone is so high level around here that they treat her casually as a great character when the fact is she's the fourth worst character in the game. This fact is played as irrelevant because nothing seems to be worth discussing below the Highest level of play, which seems to be like, 8 people in our entire country. Those 8 people are all that matters, and they all seem to be right here.

Just go look at the stream. The fact I can't even get the first moves down even now is just a joke. Why do I do this? You guys, I'm trying to put time in but it's not working. It's just not. I'm still being beaten by people you found two weeks ago that just started playing. Even local people like raging_fenrir have outpaced me in a single week, and it's just infuriating. Also - please stop mirroring me. I know you wanna style on me, but on the off chance you're trying to teach me something - nothing is coming through when you spend you time making fool out of me and trolling me. I know you're better than me. Lesson learned. I'm not good enough to play. Congrats.

Just curious - would input lag be noticeable if I always played the game using PVR THRU output? Might explain a few things... Will play more once controller is charged back up.

Here, lemme explain - For one - Unlike me, LK doesn't have any reason to feel he's at some sort of fundamental disadvantage. I'm trying to not attack any Hakumen unless I make the read that they won't counter or just hit C. Ideally, I want you to fuck up. Not many people around here do, so I'm kinda at a loss on defense unless I have a character that can hide her options easily as long as she's defending solid. Defending in this game is actually very difficult, so If you really wanna walk all over me, bully the shit out of me. Most of the time, I'm spending my time trying to outsmart opponents. I have no execution or fundamentals or anything, but I have a little bit of character knowledge and I like to pick up on your habits when I can. That's all I got. Anyways - I noticed I could bait Koopa's counter. He gets spooked. He should focus on bullying the shit out of Litchi. I'm of the mind that you gotta play hakumen, Tager, and Noel the same. Bully like hell.

Okay, here is what is going to happen: I am going to get a Spicy chicken sandwich and Two orders of Spicy nuggets. I'm gonna eat 'dat shit. I'm gonna turn on the PS3. And play BlazBlue.

I can bait your hakumen's counters easier than other hakus I play. Were you trying to do it earlier than intended? EDITED. LK - When you talk about not thinking are you talking raw talent? or something that isn't inherent?

so TD did you get to the bottom of why I'm so free after trying so much stuff or two years and three games or is it all because I don't watch enough shounen videos? PS: You dodging me? Or did you give up or can't be bothered?

Baiken's counters work very differently than Hakumen's. Hakumen can throw a counter out, and a little glowing disc hangs out and disappears. It's a visual cue that any player that is a fast enough thinker can void and even bait and punish without much of a problem. If you want a character with a similar counter, look at Testament or Axl. If you get hit, you know exactly what will happen depending on High low or air. Baiken's counters can be hidden anywhere. If she hits 4 or 1 at any time and blocks, a guard cancel may come out, and one of her own choosing. It is much more versatile, way more confusing for opponents that don't know what beats it, and more difficult to bait effectively. That being said, don't let the really good options and stealth fool you. Baiken's counters are all baitable, all beatable, and barring Sakura (except the recover time without RC or FRC), they all leave her vulnerable in some way. People call Baiken cheap - I believe they are salty that they can't just autopilot kill her like you can on probably every other character. As I learn more and more about this character, I am starting to dislike Hakumen/Baiken comparisons.
