What's the secret to getting 2d to cause a maximum ground bounce consistently? For 623c > 22d > 5c > (2d) j.b > j.c I've put a slight delay on j.b and it seems to help but still only getting it 50% of the time. No problems with combo itself, just the bounce

Thanks psychotic, especially for the links, there was a couple of vids of jourdals channel I was using but obvs they're gone, so these will be helpful. Just need to grind until I have a mid screen and corner bnb from bad starters then I can work on adding extra parts for better starters, CH' and fatal's etc EDIT: Just watched these and these are EXACTLY what I need, I've seen the last before but thought it was a little in at the deep end, as you touched on. 1st is especially useful, breaking down the common parts. Can't wait to crack on with training mode now!

I'm on stick, I'm a competent player trying to learn Carl, but I'm finding the resources a bit limited. I understand he has 4 main combo variants. Those a some basic block strings would really help me out, I'm just trying to watch videos and hit training mode from memory. I haven't actually played many matches outside of training mode so doll control outside of combos still seems wierd, I'm pretty determined to stick with him though

The only reason alundra 2 is good is because of nostalgia, I don't mind it, but as a standalone game, it's incredibly average. Infact they might as well given it a different name given how vastly different it is to the original. Please play the first one symm, as it's top down view (ala link to the past) it has aged incredibly well, sprite based graphics, devious puzzles and generally fucking awesome. Can't recommend it enough

Got legend of dragon on my ps3 hard drive fist, sick game. An absolute gem from the psx era is alundra, this is one of my favourite games of all time, imagine link to the past with platforming and better puzzles, good on you if you have played it, if not try a get a copy!

I use mugen to bait bursts, against a good player I'm quite happy to spend 50 heat to take their burst. You make some valid points surfeit, especially given how strong 3cc > RC is in extend. Tbh what I've seen so far of CP tsu nothing looks particularly great, her damage is nice and 46d > 236d looks swag but even Kuresu doesn't seem to be doing much new. How much does the game change in terms of technology when the game gets a console release? Can we expect all new routes that we haven't seen at all??

No need to troll, i think dmc was the best. everyone says dmc3 was a return to form, but it didnt really do it for me. as for platinum games, the wonderful 101 (or whatever its called) looks like pikmin on acid, so looking forward to that one. other than that, ni no kuni anyone? been a while since i got properly into a JRPG. need to give xenoblade another chance, did about 7 hours of the last story, really wanted to get into, but jeez the characters seemed so lame and generic.
