While mu-12 is deliciously aesthetic unless your friend has his heart set on her I couldn't recommend it. He will easily get blown up and she's not designed for quick pick up Stay within the suggestions of safer pick up chars like rags and Jin - both of whom anyone can easily learn their straightforward gameplay and simple combos and drive characteristics -- coming from SF your friend may need a simple drive mechanic to start with... Not a complicated one that's an easy punish

after the last ranbat were i fought like literall 5 laggy ass matches in a row i was really fucking pissed off -- and i decided it was mostly my own fault for not paying for better internet if i want to simulate competition -- so therefore i switched ISPs and paid up for a better connection

I would suggest EX -- because we still dont really have a release date for Chrono and it might be awhile (although many believe itll be released in the summer) playing EX from now until then will help you to be one of the ppl who smashes others -- instead of getting smashed -- when the new game is out imo
