A thread that seemed quite needed, especially since the CP Update Here, you can ask Questions on Ragna the Bloodedge and share the knowledge put together in this thread Key: TK = Tiger knee CH = Counter hit FC = Fatal counter DS = Dead spike GH = Gauntlet hades HF = Hell's Fang BS = Blood scythe ID = Inferno Divider BE = Belial Edge IAD = Instant Air dash Question: How do I TK Blood scythe? Answer: Input 7214D Q: When I try to use TK BS the opponent always goes behind me, whats up with that? A: Doing the motion as 8214D or 9214D tends to make them fall behind after the BS, along with just being too close. 7214D usually seems to work better as it moves Ragna very slightly backwards as well as TKs Q: TK BS is hard and I can't get it all the time in matches, is it really worth it? A: TK BS is optimal midscreen for meter, dmg, and corner carry especially, even if you miss the followup you still get the best knockdown in Ragna's arsenal so overall yeah it is worth it, just keep at it Q: The New input for D ID is weird and I keep getting DS A: There are a few ways around this, but the most common why around is usually just being careful with how input it and not inputting 6236 by accident Holding 3 usually helps Feel free to post any notes and extras you may wish to add/correct More to come, updated as soon as possible

Mostly posted because there wasn't one yet, Mods please feel free to take over and make it look neater Generally this matchup seems bad...very bad I'd love to hear people's thoughts on it My opinion? she seems to be able to keep us out at almost anytime Her air rocket normal seems to beat j.C Her magnets make rushing her down annoying and dat cat person damage versus our tiny HP bar = not good However if there does seem to be one ray of hope in that our footies game with 5B/2B/5C seems to be very useful here

Discuss the vs Kokonoe matchup here For the love of god don't let her get away Current matchup ratio prediction: 5.5:4.5 in her favour Overview Despite her superior of most of anything, this matchup isn't actually as bad some people think. If Ragna uses his poking game to its finest and is above all careful, it not all that bad Neutral: Her air normals will usually beat yours, caution. Letting her get away is a bad idea, letting her set up gravitons will make your job much harder. At that point predictions will be key. Offense: 2A seems really good at poking her out of her teleport especially in corners (the teleport itself being 33 frames, inv from frame 1 till 24) bait it, let autocorrect be your guide. Slow normals won't help much if used often. Applying Oki seems difficult in general, especially if she has meter Defense: Ice gun is slow, can be C IDed on startup but if not comfortable with doing it on the startup, instant barrier is next best choice to avoid chip and more pushback (worthwhile punish after IB is still in works) Instant blocking wrench seems easy due to very see-able windup. Her 6B into Ice beats CS/DBD and Astral (Instant block or not) Ragna does have a way of getting out of the black hole unblockable set up. As soon as you get up after she sets it up: OD - Carnage scissors, it takes the burst icon and 50 meter but its better than nothing. It takes advantage of the black hole's hitbox only being the farther away orb, the one next to Kokonoe is harmless. (video showing how http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9319qyJGcWw) Punishes: Air rocket hammer won't cross up in the corner, pretty safe to 6A it. Instant block Rocket punch to net yourself a free 5A > 5B punish. Blocking Super ball will push you too far back for 2C punish however CH 5C is possible Barrier blocking Ice Gun can lead to a sweet FC BS punish just barrier block(instant if possible) so that you get pushed back out of it's hitbox, then do a grounded Blood Scythe(214D) as soon as you come out of blockstun. Feel free to update as new info is collected. I'll update the this post as new info is found

  10. Can anyone tell me why ID - Straight punch - 3C doesn't work on Tager? I literary just lost a match because that missed :/

  12. yeah I noticed that, the timing on the second j.C is pretty tight on almost everyone except Azrael and the 5C can be annoying, still good going on finding on it wow your right, works quite well off an air CH 5B too I think I'm beginning to love Ragna's CT, in corners it seems to net him almost Extend damage for just 25 meter
  13. I didn't check that it was actually connecting derp, needs crouching too Works does connect anywhere on screen though as well as on the whole cast, so ..its a bit specific but can't argue with that damage I guess

Got a CT combo that might be worth noting requires CH and corner CH 5C- CT - 5B - 3C - 22C - DS - 5C - j.c j.C - BE - 5C - 5D(2) - D ID into axe kick = 5457 damage Uses 25 meter and builds 24 And with even more resources you could .. Same come up till the 5D(2) after BE, instead of D ID - 10% HP OD - D ID into axe kick - j.D - BS - CS = 6817 damage or if more OD with OD CS = 7177 damage potential?
  15. do we have a highest damage on a meter less corner throw yet? heres an attempt forward grab - delay DS - Dash 3C - 22C dc - 5B - 5C - 5D(2) - D ID = 3560 damage

  18. Do we have a number yet for highest damage 50% OD combo so far? so far I've only managed 6.3k
  19. Gotta wonder if DS is still a worthwhile investment into killing george 3C if you want to approach from the air DS if you predict Rachel sending him towards you and using the dash cancel to move in? or is it now too slow?
  20. I think it has something to do with how many wins the players has...I think It starts at white and I remember hearing pink being the highest

  23. At the end of really long combos I wouldn't imagine it would build much meter but off of his ground bnbs I'm pretty sure it builds more than D ID, granted not much more also just do what I was taught by VR Raiden, Input 623D and hold the 3 not letting your thumb slip onto 6
  24. Hell's fang builds more meter, although if you can manage it at the end of a combo D ID is the better ender due to the little bit of oki you can get off Axe kick
