The untechable nerf to Ragna is 40 to 35 5C's startup is only 12 frames and 5D's is 15 can't see any reason why they wouldn't be able to connect still, may have to input it faster so as mentioned earlier in this thread I believe dash-3C is seeming dead or at least VERY tight and the rest generally are just fixes still other than that nerf to the backdash (and was that really necessary? it was already terrible)

  3. ^This, one of the rare times I wish liking replies on Dustloop was a thing These changes are for the most part are just fixes with the buff to D ID being the only change that can really be called a buff I do remember hearing a rumour floating around earlier today that BE could still be special cancelled and the example used was BE - DS - Stuff Would be better than nothing I guess Anyway OD Dead spike in the corner fully connecting sounds like it could show promise
  4. They gave us only one nerf.....but it had to be THAT D: I miss BE already I certainly hope that despite the untechable nerf it can still be followed up with something fast...otherwise RIP Still for the most part my thoughts on the changes in general were "is that it?"

Played a bit more Mu last night as well as did a bit more testing and I maybe have found some things out This is actually completely true, my bad Anywho.. >in terms of setups after knockdowns, 5C from almost max range allows safety from her DP (still need to confirm 100%) although obviously normal safe jumps will do fine >Arrows of heaven can be IADed over for a free punish as long as your not too close >If she tries to lock you down with projectiles from full screen Ragna's best option seems to be to wait because if she knows how to use steins to their fullest you will be barely able to move, at best jumping barrier? or wait till she stops/gets bored >j.c into j.2c can be DP punished on normal block >Dead spike seems very useful in this particular matchup

From what I gathered so far Pros: Ragna seems to out poke her (but not by much) Our DP beats hers (lol) If Ragna ever manages to back her into a corner its very hard for her to get out (her DP seems very easy to bait and her normals seem kinda slow) Cons: The faster lasers make it even harder for Ragna to approach Her 5C is still a massive pain in the ass Ragna shouldn't try to beat her in the air because 9 times out of 10 he just can't Mu's Dp (if it ever manages to land) resets to worst possible position for Ragna, almost full screen and Mu having plenty of time to set up steins

Please ask your matchup related questions in the section for it, (Valk's I'll link here) http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?18151-CP-Ragna-vs-Valkenhayn Though to be fair this particular matchup thread doesn't have much yet, (hint hint other Ragna players: Write up pls) Now then, on the subject of potential Ragna changes, I'd be all for giving 6B it's C gatlings back, it would make it seem a LOT more appealing as a mixup tool especially with Ragna's mixup generally just being awful at least you could use 2C to make it safer, maybe making it come out a little bit faster too BS hitting actually hitting high (like totally looks like it should) might help too, Cross up air bs would seem at least a little useful despite not being able to follow it up meterless .....

  13. The reasons for banning a character should be on the grounds if the character in question is regarded as "too good and unbalanced" To further expand on this, what makes a character "too good"? Well.. A ) They are overpowered B ) They have way too much control over the neutral to an unfair degree C ) Their tools are too good (by which meaning they are better than the rest of the cast's tools/most of the cast aren't capable of dealing them) D ) On top of all these points, they are easy to abuse (ease of use of such a character) Now unless I'm mistaken, Kokonoe fills in most if not all of these categories, making her liable for banning By having such a character exist and be legit in tournaments would be incredibly unhealthy for the scene, this character will continue going to tournaments and probably even winning them due to the fact she is overall better than the cast in general. What will people do about it? will they grit their teeth and learn around her? or will they submit and pick up the character out of salt just so they can taste victory? But if the second one is the case, we could potentially see one character dominated tournaments which will lead to unhypeness in the audience watching, lack of fun for other players actually playing the tournament and the game's scene slowly decaying because one character is "too good". I believe banning her until she is changed will keep the scene at least a bit more healthy for a good while longer so it can give rise to more character variety and thus more chances for people to get hype when something like e.g. "A Bullet perfecting a Litchi" happens. Now while my personal stance is more towards banning her I do not like the thought of exclusion, people have taken time to learn this character from the ground up and some players were really looking forward to seeing Kokonoe finally being playable, I can understand that, However the way this character has been designed playstyle-wise is simply too unbalanced compared to the rest of the cast. These are my thoughts on it, I'm voting ban Kokonoe so we can see a more balanced scene

  18. You also have to remember matchups are partly built off player opinion and obviously opinions can differ That is no such thing as a matchup ratio that EVERYONE accepts is fact And your having this conversation because I believe your getting a bit off topic

I can kinda see what your getting at but I think it was established earlier that the skill level of countries doesn't really matter, especially when we are talking about this specfic character which has been known to take down players who are known for being "godly" easily My personal stance on the matter as of late is pretty much agreeing with Lucalibur on most accounts, she should be banned until Arc notices and nerfs her, she isn't healthy for the scene by just being known as "that one character that is better than the entire cast". I,like a lot of people, don't feel like watching a major in a few months featuring nothing but Kokos just because at least 80% of the rest of cast just can't compare to this one character and people picking her up out of salt

  25. Damn thats godlike, thanks again Tong And other than the size the banner version looks amazing too, I think Facebook Banner size is 851 x 315, it looked a little small on facebook itself, I think it compresses it slightly when the banner is uploaded might just be me though, thanks again
