  1. My bad, meant to say 22nd. >.< Don't know where I got 15th at. >>
  2. What happened to the 15th?
  3. Ver 1.10 changes and my thoughts So they pretty much reduced the amount of frames to the backdash. This is sort of a normalization change as the last ten frame to his backdash is now punishable. Either way, his backdash is still godlike and now even better with less frames/length to it as the ground evasive option it always has been. But no forward dash changes? 214a/j.214a>forward dash is my go to fast approach when I play a Match-up that wrecks me for trying j.6a/wall teleport/anything in the air and in need of approach. Getting punished for it at times hurts. ...What is Negative Penalty Resistance? This is gonna be a tremendous pain in the ass to deal with but then again I can imagine why they did this. You are usually already on the offensive whenever you curse the opponent, so throwing out punishable clouds>curse or getting blownup for chipping your opponent into curse with a d move>cancelable move (example: 5D>236b) is something you'll have to change up and be aware of many things. I mean, who the hell can do anything off a CA/burst if you can just come back with a/b bug pressure? It'd be a waste but still...This encourages the player to level up that curse pressure/blockstring game and not get blown up. Cloud should be used specifically for zoning full screen anyways. Unless you want to air dash>j. 4b/j. d after super jump or something. w00t! Tremendous buff for instant slowdown from a good range. Yezzz! The speed change to the A+B move creates a new viable strategy now during curse from full screen and I love it already. And yay for the useful aesthetic change. I think using A+B as a tool to force your opponent to move forward/around where you want them to is a completely viable full screen option now. I used to think it was a bit gimmicky. Plus, the drain to his curse meter is unchanged so no rush really. I have never had an issue with it as long as the recurse options are there when you land a late curse combo. Like I said... What does "+2" mean? +2 on the laser to come out or...???
  4. Link to OP no longer works. Why not just use the new google maps thing without having to share PSN/gametag names? Asking around gets pretty exhausting. lol If anything, can I create the map + thread for it? I'll do it if no is willing to.
  5. Introduction? Ok! Spent all January in the video thread watching several hours of Arakune play of each match up and taking notes. Been Playing BB seriously since August of Last year with Arakune in CSE until CP came out and have recently been entering locals, preparing for the big event itself. While discovering and learning tech and the character itself by looking him up all over Nico Nico, I have also managed to discover some useful stuff I have tested out on real opponents offline. But I still consider myself in the lab so I rather leave the knowledge base to you guys of more experience before declaring something useful yet. But I will eventually post some stuff once I get my ridiculous notes organized. There, my silence of myself has been broken. QUESTION: Is just me or does anyone feel that Arakune is a lot easier to USE (not the same as winning with, lol) in CP than in any of the previous games? I couldn't do shit with Arakune in CS and had a tough time, hence why I kept procrastinating in picking the game up sooner. LOL I feel there was so many useful/situational set ups/combos/resets/curse game/etc in CS that I could not keep up with. But in CP, everything about him is straight forward. Maybe the system changes helped. wadayouthink?
  6. http://youtu.be/f8b7xbD65Dw How the hell do you do the combo in 1:59 without getting an SAC? Been trying to do it. :\ I think i'm better off doing 5C>j.A>j.C>j2A>DC>5D (wallsplat) >66>6B>j6D>6D. Easier confirm and curse.
  7. -When the match heavily lags against someone i'd like to have a non laggy match with -When someone rage quits after winning one round, thinking they proved their point or whatever... -When someone auto places themselves on my arcade spot in lobby after I lose (no rematch T_T) -Whenever no one is online...yeah I went there. lol
  8. Been playing training mode for a month and a half (lol)...haven't had time to play much matches so this should be so much fun. XD Hope the snow doesn't get in the way...>>
  9. MS/Sony (not vita)/PC Leave nintendo out of it. Seriously...>.>
  10. Gotta hit up locals hard...
  11. I try to see how my opponent reacts to my moves, set ups, oki, etc and use it against them. I'm not that good at it though. lol fuckonline
  12. I'm out. Sorry, don't think i'm ready yet.
  13. Why do most of you guys welcome new versions/releases/revisions so complacently and easily? How do you do that? :\ Do you love spending money? Some people can't keep up and is part of the reason people lose interest. I'd be pissed if this is the way it gets handled, which of course will happen but I hope not too soon.
  14. PSN: JPN_JacopeX Location: COnnecticut
  15. Is it me, or does this combo have a weird DC timing on some characters? Example, try this on amane...I keep fucking up DC into 6D. Success rate is like 1/15. :\
  16. GGs to everyone I played tonight and last night. Least favorite match ups: Tao, Rachel, Jin, Relius Having more fun with the game the more im improving.
  17. I see that the pools were done by order of registration than randomization. This is news to me. MY friend and I signed up at the same time and now were in the same pool. lol
  18. Get a Cat5 Cable. XD
  19. Errr, Waterbury is kind of the total opposite route we're going and we are trying to get to Clairon hotel asap. Would taking a train to Stamford be a problem?
  20. Yes. We have room to carpool anyone that needs a ride to NEC. Leaving Thursday Night from Stamford, CT.
  21. Yeah, the combo works on only three characters (Jin, Kokonoe, and Rachel). The reason why it doesn't work on the others has more to do with wall splat height than height, but then again I couldn't even hit some of the smaller characters with the combo due to some of their weird hitboxes (lol at carl having a hitbox on his hat and Platinum's necklace). Well...it was fun. >.> I just realized Arakune's Dive Cancel is still useful in this game rather than just 6d. I gotta get the hang of doing it more often again.
  22. Anyone need a room for NEC? Message me. Someone in my group might not go.
  23. Whoa, I would actually prefer doing this over 6b>j.6d>5d>236b>2c>6d since it allows you to cancel 5d into homing cloud and use that to buffer. After 6d, 5b>5d also works and would probably be another good way to buffer b bug into d bug. However, the timing and spacing to the combo itself is pretty tricky since I find myself either whiffing the 6a or the 2C part of the combo when spaced wrong most of the time than just timing. 5a>6b>j.44>j6d helps since being too close is reason 6a whiffs. EDIT: 3C after 5D catches them with the C bug. But I can't seem to get the D bug to launch. opponent just techs before D bug 2. Currently seeing if I can get a bug to combo into c bug>dbug from the himing club input to see if it's a different result. Grasping at straws. Pretty much having fun with this combo. XD
  24. I'll be there.
